The site was unlevel, there were semi pump trucks coming in and out, and the dump site was on the campground

Thank you for your feedback. The truck traffic was due to us needing to add water to our lagoon due to drought in the area. Our campground is undergoing improvements and site leveling is one of them.

What a wonderful park! The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful and the camp is well laid out with so many amenities to enjoy. Loved the new pool!!

Nice, clean campground with all one could want in a short stay. Close to town amenities and "things to do", such as the Railroad museum. 4 stars because the dryer i used left my clothes damp. However, they have another huge dryer that runs on one quarter at a time. The other thing was the sewer system had a temporary fault while I was there. Thank you for a nice stay!

Accommodations are fine but place very noisy. Truck traffic through camp[ground started about 5:00 a.m. and was constant for at least two hours. Appeared to be from permanent rental area but road went directly adjacent to our site.

We had a very nice site for just an overnight, but it was near a retention pond, and sometimes the smell was horrific

If all KOA's were this good, I'd never stay anywhere else! Great staff, level sites, brand new pool, dog park and playground. I wish it was closer to my home!

Everyone was very friendly and went over the accommodations. Loved the pool, pickleball courts, and bocce ball areas.

No shade everything is rock no grass, no trees. Seems like their trying to upgrade to a KOA Resort. Liked it better a few years ago. Staff is friendly and have no complains there just the grounds aren't comfortable. Saw one couple trying to grill and with the awning out they still needed an umbrella to shade from the sun.

Nice campground, clean and well maintained. The only downside was the showers, way too small, and the shower head must be flow restricted, to the point that my wife couldn't wash her hair.

. Staff was awesome working with us due to mechanical issues. Campground has really improved with amenities over the last few years. Gravel rv spots but multiple grass areas and dog park.

I asked for a pull thru since we were only there one night. Their pull thru has two site where one rig pulls in one direction and the other pulls in the oposite direction. It was close. The rest of the park was roomy. Spaces all on dirt very little grass although there was grass around the exterior. Staff were very nice. Pretty views as Wyoming is a beautiful state.

Very disappointed that your marketing includes a swimming pool, yet the pool was closed. Even the welcome email we received said the pool was open yet on arrival told it was closed. The only reason we went to this park was for a pool. It was out of the way for us. I realize it was beyond your control but why advertise a pool that wasn’t open? Disappointed and angry

They have upgraded the campground to include pickel ball and a pool. To our disappointment the pool newly finished was not open due to some mechanical issues. Great stay.

We had to find a place to stay due to extremely high winds. This was such a grand surprise. The location was quiet and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make sure their customers were taken care of. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

Dana was great at the desk, very friendly. The campground is very clean and well laid out. The only complaint was the lagoon smell that would (infrequently) waft up through the campground. Otherwise, very good stay and will come back.

Everything about it was great. We were in Douglas for a wedding and it worked out perfectly. Facilities were very nice, clean and convenient.

Hidden gem! One of the nicest KOA’s we’ve stayed at in our travels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. The lawn in the K9 camp is all new sod and the pickleball courts and pool are top notch.

Very nice campground with fabulous views! Very kind staff too! Only disappointment was a non-working pool. Would definitely stay here again! PS Also saw they had fences for the tenters! What a great idea!

When we arrived we learned that the swimming pool was out of order and the dog park was closed as they had just laid new sod. We paid full price for our RV site even though these amenities were not available. We should have been notified prior to our stay.

We stayed 2 nights at Douglas KOA Journey RV Park. The staff is super welcoming. Parking lot is rocky but nicely maintained. Multiple sites do have a concrete pad. Little grass in the grassy areas but it's also HOT and DRY, so nothing will grow. Pickleball courts and pool, lots of campsites for rvs and tents and cabins to rent. Super cool concrete area with shade by the cabins and airstreams to also rent. Little shade and privacy is the downside to some of the sites but we had D1 and it was fabulous! Super nice dog park located in the back of the campground, a little jaunt for us but it is really nice grass for those picky poopers. Check-in- excellent! Location- excellent! Campground- excellent! Price- excellent! Laundry facility was clean and nice. They also sell local products❤️ The town of Douglas hosts the WY state fair in August which is impressive as the town is not very big. Tons of banks and churches and modest style homes. Seems like a very humble town and I like it. Home of the jackalope statue and the story of how it got started. This was a fun little stop!

Second review - this KOA has had a lot of investment with substantial upgrades. Stayed in one of the new delux cabins which was great. There were 4 adults and three dogs. Had a wonderful deck. Pet corral , sitting area and deck. Full size refrigerator which was a wonderful surprise. Staff was very friendly. Dog friendly. First review from several years ago - Older KOA but clean and well maintained. Used the cabins for the first time. Clean and a great option that is very affordable when reserved in advance. Road noise not bad. Showers were adequate, restrooms were clean. Very quiet campground.
