We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We travel with our 2 dogs. This KOA was pet friendly. Good location.

Absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was a gem. It had enough space for our large family of 8. The amenities are exceptional with the new pool, patio, and green space being our favorites. We let all of our friends know how nice of a campground it is and they are switching over for next year’s visit! We will definitely be staying here again. It’s the nicest KOA we’ve ever stayed at!

Great staff. We stayed in one of the new cabins. It was very clean and well set up. The fire pit is a cool bonus. Again, I can't say enough about the staff!!!!

Overall you can tell they are really trying to step up their game here. Since our stay last year they have moved the cabins, added private bathrooms, a pool, and pickleball. They brought us a grill and even our own picnic table. However the wifi didn't work for our entire stay and we were unable to get any work done or even stream anything so we ended up leaving instead of staying a second night.

Cabin was clean as were the bathrooms. This KOA is far enough away from highways and is very peaceful.

The dedicated shower/restroom for each cabin is a brilliantly fabulous idea! The cabins were extremely clean and remodeled!

The wind blew incessantly. Loved what is happening there. The addition of the Streamline RVs as an option to stay, along with the upscale cottages which include a tiny dog pound is a boon. It occurs to me that a cabin design that prevents dogs straying beyond an enclosed deck/porch would be a really good selling point for Kampers with pets or small children. We stayed in a Airstream trailer and it was very enjoyable. The pool was closed which was disappointing, but this KOA has come a long way in the last year. The dog park needs some work as it's just a dirt lot with a fence around it. Would definitely stay here again. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This location was totally AWESOME!!! Every KIA should follow suit on their private showers for cabin dwellers, so nice to have privacy and convenience. Definitely would like to visit again and stay longer.

Beautiful deluxe cabin accommodation. The personal pet area was much appreciated. I can see all of the effort going into this KOA to make it a true destination. Staff was very friendly, and the stay was quiet and enjoyable.

We stayed in Kamping Kaba 2. The bunk beds had been removed which allowed more room for 2 adults and 2 large dogs. This was the cleanest, well kept cabin we’ve ever stayed in. There is a lot of updating going on. Adding a new pool, pickleball courts, new cabins for 2 with bathrooms, updating the yurt and miniature golf. Staff was very nice and helpful. Honestly, I was so impressed with this place. The bathrooms were spotless. My simple cabin was spotless AND it had a ceiling fan. Love that! And the STAFF.... THEY WERE ALL AMAZING! 3 gals were all so friendly when I checked in. And when I checked out, I chatted with Dana for awhile. Such friendly faces and their hard work shows tremendously with this place! What a great experience!

The Good - Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The Bad - Distance from cabin to bathroom was incredibly long. Too long. Should not have to plan ahead to use the bathroom. The Ugly - In our cabin there was no table on either side of the bed. Should have at least on little table next to the bed.

We really enjoyed the Airstream accommodation. The fireplace was amazing and so relaxing to sit around in the evenings. Was disappointed the pool wasn't ready, but we'll be back once it is and we're really excited about the pickle all court and other improvements going in. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms are too far away from the cabins. Says they have a pool but the pool is under construction. Price is way to high for what you get.

We stayed 2 nights at Douglas KOA Journey RV Park. The staff is super welcoming. Parking lot is rocky but nicely maintained. Multiple sites do have a concrete pad. Little grass in the grassy areas but it's also HOT and DRY, so nothing will grow. Pickleball courts and pool, lots of campsites for rvs and tents and cabins to rent. Super cool concrete area with shade by the cabins and airstreams to also rent. Little shade and privacy is the downside to some of the sites but we had D1 and it was fabulous! Super nice dog park located in the back of the campground, a little jaunt for us but it is really nice grass for those picky poopers. Check-in- excellent! Location- excellent! Campground- excellent! Price- excellent! Laundry facility was clean and nice. They also sell local products❤️ The town of Douglas hosts the WY state fair in August which is impressive as the town is not very big. Tons of banks and churches and modest style homes. Seems like a very humble town and I like it. Home of the jackalope statue and the story of how it got started. This was a fun little stop!

Second review - this KOA has had a lot of investment with substantial upgrades. Stayed in one of the new delux cabins which was great. There were 4 adults and three dogs. Had a wonderful deck. Pet corral , sitting area and deck. Full size refrigerator which was a wonderful surprise. Staff was very friendly. Dog friendly. First review from several years ago - Older KOA but clean and well maintained. Used the cabins for the first time. Clean and a great option that is very affordable when reserved in advance. Road noise not bad. Showers were adequate, restrooms were clean. Very quiet campground.
