Fort Fetterman State Historical Site
Open Memorial Day thru Labor Day Wednesdays through Saturdays. Located 8 miles west of Douglas on Hwy 93 Visit the restored officer's quarters and the artifacts exhibited to see the fort's history, and Fort Fetterman City .

Wyoming Pioneer Museum
Open year round 8-5 on Monday - Friday, and from 1-5 on Saturday (summer). Admission is FREE.
It is located at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas, WY. Has one of the largest collections of western and Native American historical memorabilia.

Ayres Natural Bridge

River Rafting
Raft or tube the North Platte River and enjoy some of the great Wyoming outdoors! Use your own equipment or visit our local business for rental possibilities. Just ask our office staff for information!

Fishing/Boating
Fish on the North Platte River just minutes from the campground or fish and boat on Glendo Reservoir just 26 miles south of Douglas off I-25.

Mountain Hiking/ATV Trails
Enjoy the Laramie Peak Range of the Medicine Bow National Forest just 1 hour into the mountains from the campground. You can find hiking trails, horse and biking trails as well as ATV trails. A great way to enjoy the Wyoming mountains!

Running, Walking, and Bike Riding
Take a walk, run, or bike ride down Heritage Trail. It runs along the North Platte River through town with many beautiful areas to stop and take in the sights of the river.

Ayres Natural Bridge
Visit this beautiful natural sanctuary on your way to or from our campground. Ayers Natural Bridge is only 15 minutes away from our campground and is worth the extra time it takes to stop there! We highly recommend the Natural Bridge!
