The site, facilities, and people were great. BUT! there was a stench that kept wafting up into the park, every other day or so, from a "settling pond" close by. It was a vile open sewer kind of smell. I don't know if the pond was part of the park or not but when it wafted up to the campers it was vile. I didn't complain because if they could do something about it were or there was nothing to do.

The owners are working hard to make this a great KOA! We stayed one night and it was a great experience, the owners are very nice and helpful!! What makes this one stand out to us was the free dog wash, shampoo, towels and blow dryer were provided free of charge. If you are in Montana, stop by and stay at Douglas KOA!!

Completely met our needs for a one night stay. The staff was very friendly. This is an older KOA that is receiving a complete makeover from top to bottom. Can’t wait to stop in next year to see the progress. Keep up the good work.

The Douglas KOA was a great stop for our travels back to Texas! Everyone at the front desk was very nice and helpful!! Definitely recommend this KOA!!!!

We only stayed one night. The stay was pleasant as was the staff that helped us. Good laundry, fairly quiet, clean bathrooms. All good!

I found this KOA about average, though I only stayed one night. My biggest complaint is non-level sites. This is not the only KOA I found this issue so I wish all KOA’s would address this issue. They tell you it level but it’s not. Anyway, I found the host very pleasant and they accommodated me quickly with a propane refill. The bathroom/shower was clean and the store looked good.

We received a warm welcome when we arrived, a smooth check in process and then we were escorted to our campsite. At the site we received assistance in positioning our trailer so we could remain hooked up for a early departure in the morning.

Nice people working there. However most people staying there, are workers living there. Friday night after a long week there was a lot of partying late into the night. Also our neighbors were using an air compressor ,very noisy, until about midnight. No idea what they were doing, but very noisy. Grounds are very dried out. Will not use again.

Very friendly and helpful staff and very clean facilities! Good showers and laundry. Dog run is very small and needs some maintenance to secure the bottom of the perimeter fence. Customers had not been considerate enough to clean up after their dogs in the run, but otherwise campers were friendly and respectful. Good location close to Douglas and convenient to the highways.

We loved our stay. It was just one night but they treated us so well. BTW the camp ground is a bit out of the way off the interstate but the signage is GREAT to get you there.

My granddaughter and I,( and Boomer my pup) had a fantastic time. Staff was amazing, friendly and willing to help if needed. Everyone had a smile on their face, even when boomer was not nice to the flowers out front, sorry about that. Mini golf, play area was great, my granddaughter loved that she beat me every game lol. Thank you Jeff for telling me about the field to throw ball for Boomer:)

Wow, it’s a big park. They take you to your site. Did not use any of the amenities. Have beautiful views and fantastic weather. If in the area would stay again.

We received a text reminding us of our reservations. When we arrived we got checked in and were immediately escorted to our site. The site was tight for our rig so they found a more suitable site. The grounds were quiet, sites well maintained, fairly close but comfortable. The staff were super professional and polite. I would highly recommend for a couple day stop while traveling.

We stayed 2 nights at Douglas KOA Journey RV Park. The staff is super welcoming. Parking lot is rocky but nicely maintained. Multiple sites do have a concrete pad. Little grass in the grassy areas but it's also HOT and DRY, so nothing will grow. Pickleball courts and pool, lots of campsites for rvs and tents and cabins to rent. Super cool concrete area with shade by the cabins and airstreams to also rent. Little shade and privacy is the downside to some of the sites but we had D1 and it was fabulous! Super nice dog park located in the back of the campground, a little jaunt for us but it is really nice grass for those picky poopers. Check-in- excellent! Location- excellent! Campground- excellent! Price- excellent! Laundry facility was clean and nice. They also sell local products❤️ The town of Douglas hosts the WY state fair in August which is impressive as the town is not very big. Tons of banks and churches and modest style homes. Seems like a very humble town and I like it. Home of the jackalope statue and the story of how it got started. This was a fun little stop!

Second review - this KOA has had a lot of investment with substantial upgrades. Stayed in one of the new delux cabins which was great. There were 4 adults and three dogs. Had a wonderful deck. Pet corral , sitting area and deck. Full size refrigerator which was a wonderful surprise. Staff was very friendly. Dog friendly. First review from several years ago - Older KOA but clean and well maintained. Used the cabins for the first time. Clean and a great option that is very affordable when reserved in advance. Road noise not bad. Showers were adequate, restrooms were clean. Very quiet campground.
