We had an awesome stay, and most of it was due to Andrea. She was so sweet and helpful checking us in. The campsite was perfect with a great view of the tower. The movie was a blast. The ice cream was yummy. Showers were really clean (way nicer than the ones at Yellowstone where we are today lol). I highly recommend this campground. Thanks Andrea!

We tented in the field and enjoyed the fabulous view of Devil's Tower from our campsite. Tents were spread out enough that we didn't feel crowded. We also enjoyed mini-golf!

This was a absolutely amazing place to stay with the perfect amenities especially when truck camping. The restrooms were very clean, the grounds were well maintained, beautiful scenery, showers were clean and very welcome (but could use a curtain or something to keep the changing area drier than the showering area). The campground was quiet and it was so nice to be close to the Devils Tower.

Camped there 3 nights over 4th of July. The camp staff were very friendly and even saved some of our camp items left out while we were on a day trip in south Dakota when severe weather hit. Fireworks show was very impressive for a camp ground in a remote area. 2 thumbs up for the whole experience.

Beautiful campground right next to the tower! Clean bathrooms and free hot showers. We loved watching the movie at night. We had a great stay and will hopefully be back someday!

Location location location! Every night they show the movie that made Devils tower famous. Our site was for one night and we had all we needed. The burgers were quite nice as well

We had a good time at Devils Tower. Like we always do. Devils Tower is the first camp for us kicking off our summer of camps. We are a youth group and camping near the Devils Tower is amazing. We got to see the Milky Way the first night and the stars were beautiful and so many. The swimming pool, playgrounds, mini golf are so inviting. We will be coming back the last weekend in June 2026.

Great location and campground clean and well maintained. The nightly movie, close encounters of the third kind, right next to devil's tower, was a unique feature. The cafe and convenience store is a great feature since this location is isolated and the food was very good.

Clean bathrooms/showers. Could use some more picnic tables in the tenting area as well as fire pit rings. However - the view is absolutely unbeatable! I would absolutely stay here again!

Good showers. Always 1 available. Love the open tent camping areas. Bathrooms were always clean. Well maintained camp ground. Love the store and cafe. Cashier and employees were friendly and efficient. Stayed there 2x this trip.

The grounds keeper on the riding lawn mower made a point to circle our camp at 8am while making aggressive eye contact with my family - but only when I was not around to confront him. The KOA also decided that 8:15am was the best time to have the septic pumped by three very loud tanker trucks. The food at the “restaurant” was atrocious. We spent 120 on hyped up gas station food. Great campground. Shower facilities were top notch. Roads are a little confusing in regards to one way or two way traffic. The biggest compliant was the cost of a simple items like ice. $12 for a bag of ice? outrageous

We tent camped for two nights on a weekend. We got a corner spot with plenty of space around us. The best part was the view of Devils Tower right out our tent window. The restrooms/showers were very clean, and there was never a wait. The pool was new, clean, and refreshing.

Very nice campground, friendly employees, nice bathrooms and showers, and good food at the cafe. I liked that the showers are separate from the restrooms. We enjoyed the mini golf, movie, and kids enjoyed the pool.

With several open sites, inflexible in putting our 3 parties together. We were shuttling food to another campsite each meal. Sites on top of each other. Barking dogs. Lack of signage, especially which direction to go on supposedly one ways. No fire rings at campsites was disappointing. We had children who were promised s’mores. Overall disappointing and would not recommend.

Location, location, location. When you can camp with a view of Devil’s Tower from the comfort of your sleeping bag you have found the perfect spot. That coupled with a facility that is very clean and in full working order, I could not have been happier with this Kampground.

We stayed here for one night on a roadtrip around the Black Hills. Devil's Tower was one of the highlights of our vacation. I was expecting the KOA to be cramped, loud, and overpriced. It was actually way better than expected. The campground and bathrooms were pretty clean. We were in a van and it was nice that the larger RVs were together in their own area. We had a great view of the Tower. We didn't have time, but I appreciated that there was free mini golf. It was also a great surprise to learn they showed the Close Encounters movie every night. I had wanted to watch it but didn't find the DVD in time for our trip. The staff we interacted with all seemed very nice and helpful. The campground is as close to the Tower as you can be without being in the park.

A beautiful campground almost at the base of the tower. Our campsite had the tower directly behind our RV. Seeing the sunshine hit the tower slightly before sunrise was inspirational. This KOA was fantastic. Lots of amenities and all of the staff were great. Beautiful Ponderosa pines all over the site. I played mini golf with my son and daughter-in-law. Be sure to catch the nightly show. I highly recommend this campground. I would happily come back.
