The Devils Tower KOA is located at the base of the Devils Tower, which provides a great view from the campground. This was my second stay at the campground. It is a nice location for an overnight stop while traveling. It has nice amenities such as clean bathrooms, showers, store, etc. Except for the thunderstorms in the evening, it was another nice stay.

The proximity to Devil's Tower was incredible. We booked a tent platform and paid the higher price. Upon arrival, we were told our site number and when we got to it, there was no platform. We asked the staff and they said "oh we don't have those, someone should have told you". No one told us. There were only 2 washing machines working and the pool was closed, even though we were told it was open.

This is STILL one of our favorite places to stay with our kids. Can't back after visiting 4 years ago and its still got beautiful tent sites with electric looking right at Devil's Tower. It's perfect for stargazing, easy access to the National Monument, plus we love how clean the showers and bathrooms are. My kids love the playground as well. We look forward to coming back.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way across country to Yellowstone. The site was beautiful. The people were friendly. The place was clean and lived up to every expectations that we had the groundskeeper constantly maintained the grounds and the bathrooms and laundry room and showers were also very well kept up and maintained Would recommend this place 100%

I am giving this campground a 6 out of 5 stars. The staff and Tricia were awesome and very helpful. The showers were refreshing with unlimited hot water. The bathrooms were clean. The movie was awesome with the tower in the background. So much more to do than we expected. We had so much fun we hated to leave.

The site is amazing with direct view on the Devil’s Tower. Staff is very friendly and equipments clean and practicles. (Pool, showers, bathrooms). The tent site was not clean, we regretted to find cigarettes butts (a lot) and trash in the pit fire. Beware, lot’s of mosquitoes !

Late arrival was well organized, but the open camping area was hard to navigate for a late arrival. We ended up setting up tent in an awkward area. Recommend assigning site numbers to late arrivals.

The staff was very nice. The grounds are in great shape. The bathroom facilities were clean and very well organized. Loved the individual shower rooms.

Camping with my 9yr old was easy when we stayed at Devils Tower/ Black Hills KOA. The staff were all so friendly and helpful at registration, and were easily accessible when I had follow up questions after setting up camp. I’d highly recommend this location not only for the quick access to Devils Tower along with the kid friendly activities they have on site, and a pool!

The entire campground is maybe 100 yards from the park entrance so every site has a fantastic view of Devil's Tower. A more picturesque campsite couldn't be imagined. Lots of extra things going on and the staff was very encouraging to participate. This was one of my favorite camps on my trip.

It’s ridiculous that the campground doesn’t allow EV charging even on a basic 20amp 120v outlet. Meanwhile, there are massive RVs plugged in all over using 50 amp/ 240v powering huge AC units, refrigerators, etc. Further, this info is only buried in the information section and not prominently noted on the booking page. Always a pleasure to stay at the Devils Tower KOA! Everything is clean, tidy and functional. Tenting grounds are spacious and allow a great view of Devils Tower. Watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind while breathing the fresh mountain air and watching stars (or distant lightning) is always a treat. We've returned here time and time again on our travels through Wyoming.

The view was spectecular from our campsite. Our dogs and us enjoyed our stay in there. The restrooms and shower was always clean. The groundskeeping was great.

It was the first time we took our daughter camping and thought this would be a great way to ease her into the experience. The staff was friendly, camp was clean, and atmosphere was great! Our view of the tower and stars were phenomenal. It is a great place to go with kids and meet up with family. We will make this a regular spot for sure.

The location is amazing and it was a very nice KOA. Our only complaint was that the pool and mini golf were closed for weather - which was just a minor chance of storm in the afternoon but even after it cleared off they stayed closed. It felt lazy and limited the fun we had planned. But was a minor thing and overall still had fun and loved the experience.

I selected a specific site and paid the fee, but was moved without being told asked and the cite I wanted was given to someone else. Then when I arrived and tried to straighten out the issue, the staff all abandoned me and went home leaving me to fend for myself.

Everything went very well from check in to checkout. The bathrooms were clean as well as the showers. We were able to browse the gift shop and general store however we could not play mini golf which was no big deal as they had to close it due to the thunderstorms in the area.

My first night, 07/13, was outstanding. My second night, 07/14, was horrible. After spending Tuesday morning and early afternoon hiking the loop trails, I was looking forward to a shower, but the washrooms were locked due to a water leak and campers were left with no toilet facilities for too long. This should serve as a wakeup call to replumb the camp grounds to keep a washroom open at all times.

Wow! What a wonderful experience. The staff was kind, informative, knowledgeable, and very willing to help out. The grounds were immaculate and well-maintained. I had dinner in the restaurant, and the food was delicious. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, courteous, and very personable. I highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night on a roadtrip around the Black Hills. Devil's Tower was one of the highlights of our vacation. I was expecting the KOA to be cramped, loud, and overpriced. It was actually way better than expected. The campground and bathrooms were pretty clean. We were in a van and it was nice that the larger RVs were together in their own area. We had a great view of the Tower. We didn't have time, but I appreciated that there was free mini golf. It was also a great surprise to learn they showed the Close Encounters movie every night. I had wanted to watch it but didn't find the DVD in time for our trip. The staff we interacted with all seemed very nice and helpful. The campground is as close to the Tower as you can be without being in the park.

A beautiful campground almost at the base of the tower. Our campsite had the tower directly behind our RV. Seeing the sunshine hit the tower slightly before sunrise was inspirational. This KOA was fantastic. Lots of amenities and all of the staff were great. Beautiful Ponderosa pines all over the site. I played mini golf with my son and daughter-in-law. Be sure to catch the nightly show. I highly recommend this campground. I would happily come back.
