We made our reservations in June and were told we had to pay extra to be parked side by side with our family members. We were hopeful by the time we got there, that would have happened without having to pay extra. It didn't happen and were across the park from each other. We were told that was KOA's policy to have to pay for that service BUT were not charged at other KOA parks on this trip.

This KOA is FABULOUS!!! The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. Facilitates are clean no matter what time of day or night I used them. This place felt like home and I will genuinely miss waking up every morning here.

We were only there overnight so the proximity and view of Devils Tower was perfect. Very quiet campgrounds. Staff was friendly.

Staff was great, we came in just a bit before closing and they were so helpful. The amenities were just what we needed, clean facilities, coin laundry, hot showers and the view was spectacular! We would stay here again and highly recommend!!

The views are great. Our first site (#62) was very unlevel, we messed around for several hours in the heat & gave up. we phoned the next day to move sites. They said sure, & that will be $25. Ridiculous. The site was available, it’s nearing end of season, almost every rig there was 1 or 2 nights & we were paying for 4! Staff was really nice, but they seem to nickel & dime you to death.

2 nights, proximity to Devils Tower cant be beat. The movie at night was cool. The grounds seem to be un kept. So many pieces of dead tree limbs in the camp site and around the park. Spots need to be graded, pretty un level. Very dusty, in need of gravel in a big way. Tee-pees and memorial garden were in disrepair. Just did not show that a lot of care was being taken in the park.

The campground was fantastic. Location was awesome and in spite of a recent hail storm, it was an amazing place to stay. Love that they play Close Encounters movie every night. I would’ve rated as a 5 but the staff was not overly motivated to help you. We waited 15 minutes for Propane & finally left.

Wonderful location right next to Devil’s Tower. Staff couldn’t be nicer; we accidentally left our water filter before we left for the Spearfish KOA. When I called to ask them to ship it to me, Katy offered to DRIVE IT OVER TO SPEARFISH! Spearfish is an hour away and she said she was planning to go there anyway. What a kind gesture on her behalf.

The location was great - just outside the entrance gate to the park. Great idea that they show the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind in the evening and the audience faces the tower. I really liked the pool and the mini golf.

Great place as close as you can get to Devils Tower. Quiet and you may see wild Turkey and horses walking around your campsite.

Staff are attentive and polite. Bathrooms and showers clean. What prevents us from giving a 5-star rating is traffic direction clarity (many campers weren’t clear on travel direction, signage would help). We observed a lot of driving through unoccupied campsites - would be nice to see some enforcement regarding! Not to enjoyable sitting outside when someone cuts through and raises a cloud of dus

Some of the sites have good views of Devils Tower. The laundry came in handy. The sites are WAY to close together especially for the high cost.

You can’t get any closer than this for camping. The grounds personnel need to do a better job maintaining the grounds. I watched the mower just chop up whatever was on the ground. Everything worked at our full hook up site and the water pressure was great. Again, great location.

We had a great experience at Devil’s Tower. Perfect location with a stunning view of Devil’s Tower. In addition to the day spent at Devil’s Tower exploring the National Monument, we enjoyed the extras provided by the KOA campground. Watched the movie Close Encounters with the Tower behind the movie screen and enjoyed the swimming pool two afternoons. We will definitely be back!

We were a party of three rv’s traveling together yet “the computer” spread us all over the park. Your desk people could not put us together even though there were multiple sites together that never got used.

The entrance to Devil’s Tower National Monument is very convenient. Clean sites, bathrooms and laundry. No problems with checking in and everyone very quiet and friendly. I would recommend and stay again.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Devils Tower KOA. You couldn't beat the location, right outside the entrance to the Tower. Our site was easy to level, clean, and quiet. It was fun to visit Devils Tower during the day, walk around, and then come back to the campground and watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind while looking at the Tower. Great overnight stay on our way westward.

Each time I come, the campground seems more worn. The long pull through are so unlevel that my back wheels were off the ground and I still could not get level. The Cottonwood trees are all dying and nothing has been planted to replace them. Decrepit picnic tables For what is provided the campground is overpriced and obvious very little if any of the money is going back into improveme

i have stayed here twice and its a nice little campground right at the base of Devils Tower! it was fairly quiet, decently clean, and the little cabins are nice although they dont have bathrooms inside them. Devils tower is by far one of the best places for stargazing, i stay here once a year to get pictures of meteor showers and they all turn out amazing!! i definitely suggest staying here
