We were staying to fish in Detroit. There was a mixup where we were told over the phone a site number. We arrived and set up. Then other people arrived and there paper said the same site. We had to tear down and move due to this misinformation. I also tried to use KOA points for ten dollars off, but for some reason it was not applied. A bit frustrating.

None of us wanted to leave! We were in the forested area with acorns heard falling through the trees & hitting RVs all night! We loved it all. We took advantage of the hot showers, clean bathrooms, and clothes washer/dryer. Our children enjoyed the jumping pillow. We were also blessed to experience great weather. Praise God for His good gifts! We pray for Him to make a way for us to come again.

"Large grassy areas near the bathhouse.....comes complete with a picnic table and fire ring for making." This was what I selected, but not what I received. The sites were actually dirty, grassless, muddy bogs with no picnic tables or fire rings. You could have given me a heads up and switched me to an available grassy site. Unnecessarily disappointing experience.

It is a nice campground… the bathroom’s were clean and the campground was well maintained. The staff was great..they had karaoke and wagon rides for the guest.. which is nice. Only complaint is that we didn’t sleep well because of golf carts driving past our tent up until 2:30am then started back up again around 6:30am

The slot we got was cramped and in a weird triangle shape which made fitting a car and tent very difficult. It was located on a curve on the inner-road so it felt like anyone that took the curve wrong could land on our tent...The restroom wasn't very clean. Whats nice is the lake and the option to rent a boat for a reasonable price.

There is a nice trail for walking around the lake. We didn't get to use the amenities other than that because the office is only open from 9 - 5, though. It's convenient to Ann Arbor so there is plenty to do in the area. The bathrooms were pretty far away from the tent area, and some of the washers didn't work but overall it was fine for what we needed it for.

It was very loud after "quiet time". The pit bull on the corner lot barked non-stop and no one that works there seems to care. Don't put in your "rules and regulation" that there is a quiet time and that dogs must be well behaved if you don't care what happens.

I wouldn’t recommend this location. Upon arrival we were told our site was probably double booked. Luckily they had a very small site that seemed to be one regular sized site split into two we shared with another fam We didn’t have a picnic table or fire ring. Victoria was a star for us this past weekend. She was kind and went out of her way to help us to obtain another night of stay in our little tent. The campsite was so full that we didn’t think it’d be possible. Thank you again Victoria! Also, the man who kept the jumping balloon safe did an excellent job! So many today won’t discipline kids, but he did so safely by putting them into time out

I signed up for grass camping and she put us in the wooded dirt area. She realized she messsd up but I was leaving the next day so I didn’t move.

Showers were disgusting-dirty, run down and some were out of order. Plenty of hot water though. The laundry facilities were similar. Half the machines were out of order. As a KOA, I’m appalled by the appearance of the entire facility. The only positive thing I can say is that they have lots of fun things available for children to be entertained. We only stayed one night (tent site).I felt the tent sites were wide open and most folks would prefer trees for shade and protection from weather.We also have a fifth wheel and camp a lot. We felt that many of the spots were small and close to each other. Even in our fifth wheel we use the shower house. It was small with no room to change. Also the drive needs attention it was a giant mud pit.

Most everyone is extremely friendly. They keep it up kept very nicely. There was only issue with the bigger lady with brown hair who drives the white truck. She got upset that a guest needed change came through the door flinging it open as my 7 year old son was sitting next to the door in a seat. she also chased after me for useing to many cups. Paper thin and no sleeves for coffee. I used 4.

We decided last minute to go camping so we got too primitive sites 114 115. Which was fine for us we have battery packs and not much need for anything else. Check in went well. Got to the sites there was no grass all dirt under trees no fire rings no picnic tables on either site site. long walk to restrooms. Beaches virtually non-existent with goose poop everywhere. Kids liked activities.

Positive: Late registration setup was great. Staff was very friendly the next morning. Decent one night stopover, cheaper than hotels. Negative: Site numbers were hard to find. Campground just kind of yucky. Not enough bathrooms. need one closer in the tent areas, got to see my tent neighbor pee in the trees. Would not recommend for a camping trip, only as a stop if there was nothing else around.

Safe place to stay while fishing in the Detroit River. I believe we were overcharged, though, based on a likely discrepancy in their computer system of the type of site we were on so not the value I had expected.

It was super fun and clean, considering all of the rain. It was fun attending the karaoke event, talking to neighbors, and walking around camp. I used the showers and bathrooms because I was sleeping in my car on a rustic site. It was quiet and I slept well, and then it was nice to clean up, walk to the lake, and wander around before checking out. Everyone was super friendly.

1.I was tenting in this location. The garbage cans are right next to my location and I kept hearing people throwing out their trash. 2. Some man drove over and complained about all the things he did not like about this site. 3. The price was higher than any other KOA location I have camped at. 4. It was so relaxing, calming, peaceful. We stayed at another camp site in the pass and it had nothing on KOA. You guys are the best. Thanks for everything, see you soon.

I do not recommend this KOA for tent camping, especially in the months where it is over 80. The main reason, no A/C in bathrooms or showers and no place to sit in the shower. Tent location is near the main entrance, so traffic coming in and leaving at night will wake anyone in a tent. Please install AC in the bathrooms. Quiet hour was not observed by many. I wish folks would also flush!

There was a low stump in the campsite , reported it after I injured my self my toe is broken . When reported the response from Bill was we know and walked away like I was bothering him. Needs reflective tape are paint due to it being on a site that doesn’t have electricity
