It was disappointing that the water slide and ninja course were not open while we were there. The roads are horrible-huge potholes filled with calcium chloride.I realize the rain made it worse.Campstore closing at 5:00 on Monday was frustrating.Too much reefer in the air-yes I know it’s legal in MI but don’t like it around my grandkids.Mouthy people using bad language at the beach.Wont stay ag

No escort. First spot underwater and too narrow for our registered rig. 2nd spot mapped out poorly (270 degree turn to get in spot). Kid reprimanded for jumping too close to edge of jump pillow with 20 kids on it already. Sell wristbands for jumping pillow $10 per kid on a Sunday but don't tell you it's not open for rest of stay. Roads terrible pot holes and complete mud days after rain passed.

I'm surprised this KOA is a KOA Holiday. The roads in the camp are horrible. There are hugh potholes that I am sure resulted in damage to vehicles and campers. The staff act like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there and there are extra charges for just about everything. I look for KOAs when I'm planning a camping trip, but will never stay at this KOA again.

Love this campground. Highly recommend the lakeside campsites. The staff is friendly and professional. The weekend and kids activities are a plus.

Did not give us the site discussed on phone by our friends. Still have us lake site, but way down with no grass and extremely tight to fit in RV. Spot next to friends remained empty. Ran out of ice cream on Saturday and Sunday. Roads are full of huge holes and mud everywhere else. Walking the roads was a huge effort with kids and dogs. Charged $10 for late checkout. Staff very friendly.

There is no gravel in the entire park, huge potholes everywhere. Camp sites flooded out, completely underwater. People were nice, but couldn’t do anything about the conditions.

We have stayed at KOA parks, and have never had such a negative experience. You gave our site away without notifying us, and offered no resolution when we told you we were camping with friends and you moved us apart. You should make an effort to clean up the goose poop on the sites , the roads are terrible, the potholes are big enough to swallow our 30 ft camper. Place needs work. We not be back!

I’m sorry, there is just no excuse for how muddy it is throughout the whole campground. The pot holes are huge and everywhere. Our whole site was flooded the entire time. You can’t control weather but you can take care of the property.

The roads/driveways into the park as well as the roads within the park were filled with potholes. This made driving incredibly difficult during our stay. With the number of campsites available and filled, it would appear that the owners could afford to make this improvement.

We LOVED the lakefront site we were given and how chill the staff were at the office/store. We are new to motorhome camping (my 9 year old autistic son is new to camping in general as is his service dog) and taking it slow. We enjoyed the ice cream stand and the children's playground. We will be back to try the mini-golf, waterslide and jumping pillow this summer!

Terrible roads in desperate need of repair to fill pot holes. Goose poop covers the beach area which is unsanitary and hard to avoid stepping in. The staff was very friendly, but the facility was neglected and in need of TLC.

The staff is incredible!! 5 stars to them!!! This is a beautiful campground with trees or open, and a really nice lake. There are lots of activities to partake especially on the weekend. The infrastructure however is another story. If it rains, the entire campground becomes a muddy mess. No roads are paved and the potholes will take its toll. WIFI needs help too. KOA corporate, help these guys!

Great - Staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Bad - Roads leading in/throughout the park were neglected and in severe need of repair. Many pot holes on the dirt roads from the moment we turned into the park caused stress and potential damage to our travel trailer. Goose poop along the beach-a health hazard to kids, was difficult to avoid stepping in, and should be removed by staff

Friendly staff, roads are AWFUL! Grass needed to be mowed- wasn't horrible, but definitely could have been better. Full of potholes - fix that issue and I'd rate a 5 star. Lots of activities for kids. Seems like there is a bit of a staffing / communication issue.

I liked the camp site on the lake and good fishing but none of the attractions like the water slide ninja course bounce pillow were open the time we were there so the kids were pretty disappointed and it did not say that stuff was closed Monday thru Thursday on the website at 73 dollars a night for nothing to be open ouch

We enjoyed our time there. Lots of shade and clean. The only thing I didn’t care for was paying the full price and most the things not being open. The water adventure was closed during the week and the bounce stuff. My 5 year old didn’t have much to do. If that is all closed during the week, maybe cut the price during the week. But we did make the most of it.

+The staff was very friendly & tried to help. - The store shelves were ½ empty & didn't have what I needed. There were no cups for the coffee machine. WIFI was unusable, no coverage. Park packed. Campground was nice and we got what we expected. Wifi was slow and unusable. A little disappointed with our lake view site, it was really a view of the water slide - with many much nicer lake view spots open during our stay it'd be nice if spots were assigned on the further end first. Overall, not a bad stay.

This by far the worst place we have stayed in out of over 100 parks in the last 18 months. The ruts, mud, no grass, Rv’s piled on top of each other, really really run down. Way over priced. KOA should be ashamed of this park. Somebody got payed off to have this being a KOA.

Nice campground, well maintained, friendly staff. I would stay here again. The only downside is the huge assortment of potholes. Tie down your stuff or expect your cabinets to fly open!

I would highly recommend putting stone on the driving areas of the campground. I’ve never stayed in a campground with as many potholes throughout the campground as this one.

We booked a week long stay. When we arrived our site was completely flooded up to our ankles. We asked if we could switch to another site but were told they were completely booked. Over our week stay we saw several sites that stayed open for most of the time we were there. And there were smaller campers on bigger lots yet our 32' camper was on a very small lot. Staff was friendly though.

Holiday KOA doesn't mean the same thing by location, I'm guessing. Roads were destroyed. Creepy guys driving around on golf carts staring at my family. Showers were absolutely disgusting. Only reason I gave it a 2 is because they do have cool things for kids to do.

Staff were great!! Helpful and responsive when we needed assistance with moving our picnic table. Thought the visitor fee was way to high. My 92 year old mom was not going to use any facilities but was charged $10. This really lowered my overall rating.

Very poor roads. after rain, campsites and roads have excessive standing water. No cable TV? Very odd for a Holiday campground. They should level the roads and add more gravel. Good location for local sites. We stayed 4 days. 35' 5th wheel, pull through site.

Campground has a lot of potential, but the interior roads are atrocious, I saw some kid almost fall off the back of a golf cart because of the terrible pot holes, and the KOA personnel, that checked me in gave me incorrect information on how to get in my site. Otherwise the lake was nice and the location was convenient.

Somebody really needs to bring a road grader in here. 5 mph is not slow enough not to totally jumble and break everything in your camper just trying to get to your site. The wifi is sketchy, and the electrical plug kept tripping my GFI breaker , and the camp hosts denied there could be anything wrong. The men's room perpetually stank. But, it's the only game in town, and it does have a lake.

Staff was really nice. Lifeguards we’re awesome. The only thing I’d say could be changed is all the goose poop on the beach. It’s literally covered. That’s the main attraction here and there’s barely anywhere to step and sit. Otherwise it was a fun time. Kids had a blast. We’ll be back.

The front desk staff were friendly. That's where the fun stopped. Another rv was escorted the wrong way around the loop which caused the tow of us to meet head on. The turns are too tight. Other residential guests parked their golf carts in our site with bright lights and loud music all night. Trash in the playground. Thankfully we were only there one night.

We have been staying at koa Ypsilanti for years. Booking the same site every year. Ever since it went from KOA to Detroit Greenfield. Back to KOA the reservation system sucks. The last Few years We have not been able to Reboot the weekend we are there we go the fourth of july every year. The online system won't even let you do it. And then they tell me in the office all the time. Call in November

Campground is secluded and the water front sites are nice. Good fishing. Did have leeches on us when swimming. After heavy rain a portion of the campground was completely under water. The camp store doesn't have much in it. Hate that most activities are not included in your stay

Nice park except for large potholes in all roads throughout park, needs gravel/rock spread to help with potholes and mud. Last night there about 3:30 am couple in tent section next to dumpster decided to have a domestic disturbance, lots of screaming by woman, shouting by man, then terrified kids started crying. Never saw park personnel intervene.

Fairly nice park had trouble with our breaker. They came and changed it immediately little congested little lots water in the roads.

Very nice campground. Beautiful little lake. Very quiet and relaxing. Can't say enough about the mgmt. we had a medical emergency and he didn't have to do what he did. Makes me a repeat customer for sure. Super thanks to staff friendliness and attitudes. Will definitely be back again.

My over all experience was good, staff was nice and even when I had a disagreement checking in with Shawn the manager he admitted his wrong and turned out to be a pretty nice guy.. the cabins that me and my family stayed at in the back of the KOA off the lake was a great experience.. and they do allow pets, there is a pet fee though.
