Very dusty roads. They level them using a tractor that pulls a device that scrapes up high points of gravel and deposits it into lower level areas.. It works but this method and cars put a lot of dust into the air. Pave or calcium chloride the roads to lock-in the dust and you’re 9.5 out of 10. Don't and you’re 6 out of 10. Nice lake and playground area.

The younger staff are the only good thing about this place. They treat you with respect which is strange for the generation. The rest of the staff not so much. So many rules and guidelines. Don't take your dog. If you do dont bathe it. You might not get it on a leash fast enough and get yelled at. Which will sadly result in you being kicked out if you have any sort of backbone. Good riddance.

Half the staff shouldn't be there. Shaun takes loyalty seriously though. He will lie to backup his workers. If they belittle you or talk down to you, just take it. They will abuse their authority and remove you if you say anything back. Do what they say, not what they do.

I realize the weather was very dry, but you need to pave the driveway through the campground. The dust flying around was unbearable! The walnuts, acorns & hickory nuts dropping on cars, trucks & campers was constantly loud & disturbing!

This place has great potential, all it needs is a new owner or manager who cares about maintenance and cleaning. A good place to start would be to completely gut the toilet and shower rooms and start fresh, they are terrible! The worst shower of any KOA. The trash looks like it wasn’t emptied in two weeks. The roadways are not gravel or sand but dust with someone driving a tractor around making

So chill and peaceful, even with the falling walnut fruit haha. Can't wait to come back next year. Chill camp ground. No one harassing you to go in your camper at quiet time. Allowed our electric scooters. Full hook up on the lake was the best!

The staff are very helpful and go beyond to ensure your stay awesome. The park, covered with shady, majestic oak trees is beautiful with a sparkling lake. The sites are generously sized to accommodate large RVs, an extra vehicle and extra room and quiet. I don’t have kids but I have never seen so many things for them to do!

It was good. I think a few trees could be removed. There were a-lot of acorns on the ground. Was our first time camping and would come back!!

Perfect KOA, just a skip away from home for us. The staff was amazingly kind and helpful. Even though they are a small campground, they still had events and little parties at night. We looooved the beach, fishing, water obstacle course, water slide, the ninja bounce zone and trampoline. We will definitely be coming back!

Booked full hookup area and pets allowed but states no dog barking allowed. Was there for 1 nite all I heard was dogs barking and not the greatest experance as I and my Wife wanted peace and quiet away from home. Also under trees constant nuts always falling on top of RV waking us up and stressing the wifey about possible damage to roof. On top of that this place is almost $100 a nite seems like f

Dust everywhere in everything we own and wore inside and out. Seriously need new gravel, not a putt putt range. Showers gross, mildewy, moldy. Unisex??? For real? Beach and grass area have goose poop everywhere. Lake looks stagnant with algae. Has the county health department seen this swimming area? Crowded sites. Would be zero stars except for the staff who somehow maintain an upbeat attitude.

This was just a passing thru 1 night stop. Clean and quiet campsite. Pancake breakfast was a nice surprise. Wished pet area was fenced in though.

Nice wide roads. Quiet. Great location for visiting the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Only complaint would be very dusty.

The campground is dated and the roads were rutted and potholed. Lots of long term campers.

We've enjoyed this KOA location before, but have NEVER noticed such constant use of marijuana. While I realize this practice is legal and your website doesn't even address it, I find the smell terribly offensive, especially when my 2 young children keep asking what that "nasty" smell is. It didn't ruin our weekend, but it certainly left us reconsidering this KOA location for future camping.

Low ratings due to the dusty road and sites. ALL the roads need to be either gravel or preferably asphalt/concrete. The amount of dust blowing around from cars, bikes, golf carts and even the wind is extreme. Fortunately for us it did not rain during our visit or it would be a complete mud pit. The park has many amenities for kids...big plus. But PLEASE pave the roads and sites.

Everyone is extremely nice here. We've stayed here 3 times now, planning more next season. Tge "free night" appreciation was confusing, we were charged anyways and I had to request a refund. My only gripes would be to please add a deoderant in the restroom, and to hold a site number here it's more expensive than other KOAs.

This is a nice park. Shaded tree sites, beautiful lake and many children activities. Four stars because of dirt sites and road. Must be a mess when rainy.

Our campsite was nicely level and spacious. The campground was very quiet at all times. The only improvement I would like would be more actual bathrooms. A porta-potty was just across the road from our site, which was handy, but I don't consider that to be my preferred bathroom. It's hard to use a porta-potty while juggling a flashlight in the middle of the night. We were far from the bathrooms.

The staff is EXCEPTIONAL! I’m glad the showers are being remodeled but it was the best shower pressure and warmest water I have experienced on the road !! Thanks again LINDA glad you enjoyed the dip

The dirtiest and dustiest campground I’ve ever stayed in. My entire coach and car were covered with fine dust after one day. In addition, we’re were confirmed a pull-thru site, Not Under Trees. Upon arrival, we were placed in a site under trees and were told there were no sites available that were not under trees. My coach was scratched by the tree branches while entering the site. Avoid this

It is a very nice place to stay, but for us while there the weather wasn't the greatest, so therefore it made our stay a little unpleasant with the flooding we had by our motorhome. But thankfully during the day we were able to go see things. Thank you again for letting us stay at your KOA ! Have a great rest of the season !

Hairs on walls and in drain in one shower, clogged drain in another. Sites are on sand so when it rained sand got everywhere. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

Dust, dust and more dust...very overcrowded. Noisy with NO regard to quiet hours, no supervision of golf carts, electric bikes our pedal carts. Tent area overpopulated, loud music well past quiet hour. Did I mention DUST. Sites were level

A large campground with a lake for swimming. Spacious. Lots of things to do for kids. Convenient to The Henery Ford and the museum of flight at Willow Run. Shaded or open sites. Convenient to shopping.

Nice spot by the lake. We were lucky it was dry but I think it would get very muddy if raining. Too many potholes. Descriptions of facilities are exaggerated relative to the quality we observed. That said, Kids seem to love the giant pillow jumping activity - it was never empty.
