We pulled in after a 12 hour dri've and we came through a lot of mud pot holes everywhere. For the amount of money that you charge for these places, you should be putting Stone down in the parking area's @the campsite and main entrance I have stayed at many other koas and have had no problems what so ever. And I've enjoyed everything about it. I know that the rain didn't help thank you.

Nice site with great lake… would have given it a five star if it had concrete pads because it had rain in the parking areas were sort of muddy.

The interior roads were totally unacceptable!! You can buy a D R grader ,, that actually digs down in the gravel and then spreads the freshly dug up gravel into the pot holes and ruts just like new!!!

Too many trees and roads were terrible. I was afraid to use showers and their placement for campers were not good. They were more for Lakes users than campers. But do understand the campground was recently changed to a KOA facility, so hope some improvements will be made. We will not be back simply because it's not feasible that our travels will be back to this area.

We only stayed two nights. It was the closest campground we found to the Henry Ford. The roads in the campground are in desperate need of repair and the sites need gravel added as areas were muddy. Location is the only thing going for this place

Restrooms and showers badly in need of rehab. Toilets are old school low. Some showers have paint peeling off the walls. Would never stay here again.

We only stopped for an overnight and it worked fine for that. We had to move sites due to being longer than the site we were given upon arrival, but when we asked they helped to get us in a longer site.

Nothing to do for the kids. Should have the water park open and bouncy pillow open and activities for kids during the week during summer vacation. It unbelievable to me u say u can't afford to have these things running and can only afford on weekends. Ridiculous. Manager was rude. Lake is full of seaweed. Goose droppings everywhere. Should sell earplugs for how loud the airplanes are.

Check-in was easy. Some of the amenities appear to need some updates, but the view and site were very nice. Backing up to a beautiful view of the lake.

I was taking a class in Ann Arbor and I didn't want to spend the money on a hotel. I camped in my little tent and slept great. The camp grounds were quiet and the showers were clean.

Staff is great. Campground is nice (very quiet, lots of trees). Lake is great for swimming or fishing. My only criticism is the roads - lots of deep holes - you need to be very careful. I was told they would be working on this issue soon.

I stay at KOA's all the time because I can count on certain things, like site quality, laundry etc. This KOA falls short of the KOA Holiday rating and probably Journey rating as well. The roads are terrible, with huge pot holes that are unavoidable and stumps all over the place. For what I paid I expect better. Rent an auger, get rid of the stumps, grade the roads, level the campsites, fix water

First, we got there after check in and our sheet was at the front door with the wrong site. Then we tried to call all of the numbers there and no one would answer nor did they respond to the text. There are huge potholes throughout the campground and with the rain they became huge mud puddles. The campground needs to be better maintained and there needs to be someone to contact after hours.

Generally our time was good. The problem was with the campground itself. The roads needed to be maintained so they were smooth. Many major and multiple potholes. The bathrooms were out of date. Tile coming up from the floor and not as clean as they should be. Showers. Awful. Small. No benches and tons of mold. Nothing a little bleach wouldn't take care of. Definitely need some remodeling.

It was disappointing that the water slide and ninja course were not open while we were there. The roads are horrible-huge potholes filled with calcium chloride.I realize the rain made it worse.Campstore closing at 5:00 on Monday was frustrating.Too much reefer in the air-yes I know it’s legal in MI but don’t like it around my grandkids.Mouthy people using bad language at the beach.Wont stay ag

No escort. First spot underwater and too narrow for our registered rig. 2nd spot mapped out poorly (270 degree turn to get in spot). Kid reprimanded for jumping too close to edge of jump pillow with 20 kids on it already. Sell wristbands for jumping pillow $10 per kid on a Sunday but don't tell you it's not open for rest of stay. Roads terrible pot holes and complete mud days after rain passed.

I'm surprised this KOA is a KOA Holiday. The roads in the camp are horrible. There are hugh potholes that I am sure resulted in damage to vehicles and campers. The staff act like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there and there are extra charges for just about everything. I look for KOAs when I'm planning a camping trip, but will never stay at this KOA again.

Showers were disgusting-dirty, run down and some were out of order. Plenty of hot water though. The laundry facilities were similar. Half the machines were out of order. As a KOA, I’m appalled by the appearance of the entire facility. The only positive thing I can say is that they have lots of fun things available for children to be entertained. Did not give us the site discussed on phone by our friends. Still have us lake site, but way down with no grass and extremely tight to fit in RV. Spot next to friends remained empty. Ran out of ice cream on Saturday and Sunday. Roads are full of huge holes and mud everywhere else. Walking the roads was a huge effort with kids and dogs. Charged $10 for late checkout. Staff very friendly.

We only stayed one night (tent site).I felt the tent sites were wide open and most folks would prefer trees for shade and protection from weather.We also have a fifth wheel and camp a lot. We felt that many of the spots were small and close to each other. Even in our fifth wheel we use the shower house. It was small with no room to change. Also the drive needs attention it was a giant mud pit.

There is no gravel in the entire park, huge potholes everywhere. Camp sites flooded out, completely underwater. People were nice, but couldn’t do anything about the conditions.

We have stayed at KOA parks, and have never had such a negative experience. You gave our site away without notifying us, and offered no resolution when we told you we were camping with friends and you moved us apart. You should make an effort to clean up the goose poop on the sites , the roads are terrible, the potholes are big enough to swallow our 30 ft camper. Place needs work. We not be back!

I’m sorry, there is just no excuse for how muddy it is throughout the whole campground. The pot holes are huge and everywhere. Our whole site was flooded the entire time. You can’t control weather but you can take care of the property.

The roads/driveways into the park as well as the roads within the park were filled with potholes. This made driving incredibly difficult during our stay. With the number of campsites available and filled, it would appear that the owners could afford to make this improvement.

We LOVED the lakefront site we were given and how chill the staff were at the office/store. We are new to motorhome camping (my 9 year old autistic son is new to camping in general as is his service dog) and taking it slow. We enjoyed the ice cream stand and the children's playground. We will be back to try the mini-golf, waterslide and jumping pillow this summer!

Terrible roads in desperate need of repair to fill pot holes. Goose poop covers the beach area which is unsanitary and hard to avoid stepping in. The staff was very friendly, but the facility was neglected and in need of TLC.

The staff is incredible!! 5 stars to them!!! This is a beautiful campground with trees or open, and a really nice lake. There are lots of activities to partake especially on the weekend. The infrastructure however is another story. If it rains, the entire campground becomes a muddy mess. No roads are paved and the potholes will take its toll. WIFI needs help too. KOA corporate, help these guys!

Great - Staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Bad - Roads leading in/throughout the park were neglected and in severe need of repair. Many pot holes on the dirt roads from the moment we turned into the park caused stress and potential damage to our travel trailer. Goose poop along the beach-a health hazard to kids, was difficult to avoid stepping in, and should be removed by staff

Friendly staff, roads are AWFUL! Grass needed to be mowed- wasn't horrible, but definitely could have been better. Full of potholes - fix that issue and I'd rate a 5 star. Lots of activities for kids. Seems like there is a bit of a staffing / communication issue.

I liked the camp site on the lake and good fishing but none of the attractions like the water slide ninja course bounce pillow were open the time we were there so the kids were pretty disappointed and it did not say that stuff was closed Monday thru Thursday on the website at 73 dollars a night for nothing to be open ouch

We enjoyed our time there. Lots of shade and clean. The only thing I didn’t care for was paying the full price and most the things not being open. The water adventure was closed during the week and the bounce stuff. My 5 year old didn’t have much to do. If that is all closed during the week, maybe cut the price during the week. But we did make the most of it.

Campground is tightly packed with limited privacy and all of the roadways into and throughout the campground are in very poor condition.

Fiirst time here, will for sure be back!!! Great experience for everyone. Swimming lake was clean and had lots of extras for the kids. Beautiful playground, and many activities to choose from if we wanted. Bathrooms were always clean, and store was well stocked and the staff was so friendly!!! The manager was out and about and would even stop to talk with you and make sure your stay was what we were hoping for!!! Can't wait to book our next visit!!

After staying at another KOA south of there, and having a BAD experience with the manager. We choose this one. Sean and his staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We will definitely be back!!
