Great fun for all and right in our backyard. Only 30 minutes from home. We will be back. Thanks

Our stay was ok. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful, all of them. I personally just feel like, for the nightly rate, it could stand some attention. I could see that there were little gardens with rocks around them struggling to live amongst all the weeds. I weeded ours. Just looks old/tired, neglected. The driveway in and out desperately needs attention. Not a great welcome.

Friendly place. Beautiful view. Roads could use fill, several holes. Very dog friendly. Quiet. I’d go back!

The people working there were wonderful. That being said, the campsites are on top of one another, and the campground was one big mud pit.

I paid I think 77.00 for a one night pull through for a 33 Foot RV. I was expecting an easy pull through after 8 hrs of pulling my RV and what I got was site 103 which was very difficult to get a 33 Foot into with trees and other obstacles. It was also a was a mud pit, hard to walk dogs without getting muddy. I noticed much nicer sites upfront but was just too exhausted to ask to move.

Dirt roads in and around campground were full of pot holes / mud holes. Sometime from February when we reserved the site til the day we arrived, our site was upgraded with a patio (that we didn't use) and it was up-charged to our bill. A phone call letting us know before arrival would have been nice.

Always a good time and plenty for the kids to do. The staff are cool too. We come here 1-2 times a year and will continue to do so.

I really enjoy camping at your park, love the lake side sites. Your park is falling behind other koas I'm afraid. Only one rest room in the park and to few and old showers.

Shower stalls were disgusting. Have they ever been cleaned???
Jul 30, 2025
Sites were muddy and full of goose poop. They could use some gravel to help remedy the problem. Restrooms were dirty with trash on counter and floor. I skipped my shower because walls were covered with mold at least 1/3 of the way up the stall with no bench to set towels or bag.

Roads and sites need gravel. Very rough and many potholes. It was quiet. Looked to be a lot to do for kids, but we were unable to participate due to weather.

30 amp service had 20 amp breaker poped several times, roads turn to mud when it rains, staff is helpful and friendly

The staff was top notch!!! The WiFi needs improvement. The showers are in dire need of renovation. The staff gets an A++++!!!!!

Nice park was nice, but could use some updating. Showers were very small, no room to get dressed. outdated, moldy walls, Bathroom stalls very small. Tent site was beside the road of the main enterance (hearing vehicles drive on rocks) and a long distance to walk to the only bathroom/shower. Great park if you have an RV.

Nice KOA. People were nice and the campground was clean. Pet friendly.

We had site #3 for our tent camper. Complete sunshine (no way to cool down), right next to the campground entry so we had the permanent bright light from the entry booth shining in our camper all night and headlights shining in every time a car entered the camp ground! Should NOT be a camp sight! Also, so far from the one and only bathroom! My daughter was on site #2 and experience the same.

I payed $86 for one night and would expect a top of the line camp ground. What I found was my sight had very little gravel, the showers were disgusting with mold and the shower valves were backward ( hot was cold and cold was hot). My wife wind up taking a cold shower because of the mismarking.

Sparrow Blue, a Canadian rock band touring the U.S. Our stop at the Ann Arbor/Detroit KOA turned into an epic moment our bus broke down, so we threw a surprise campground show! Huge thanks to JOSH, Carter, Craig, Sandy, Patty, and the amazing KOA staff. If you're nearby, tell ’em Sparrow Blue sent you! Bands & travelers, if you're in the area — go stay at KOA Detroit, say hi from Sparrow Blue!

The campground seems to be an older KOA, it could definitely use some work. The interior roads were dirt and slightly muddy and very tight. We had to enter our site going the wrong way on a one way road (as advised by the person checking us in) because there was more room that way. I did have to ask our neighbor to move their vehicle the next morning so I could exit.

The staff was helpful and accommodating with our requests and questions. We had a large stand of bushes (small trees) obscuring our view of the lakefront, for which we paid extra. They responded within minutes of my request to remove them! I really didn’t expect that. The grounds are clean and maintained. We didn’t use any amenities, except laundry, which was more than adequate .

I was greeted each morning by an employee, which was very nice. They seem extremely friendly and extremely helpful to what I needed or any questions that I had to ask they were very accommodating overall friendliness happy to be at a nice place to work their employees were very friendly and I enjoyed that they helped me with every thing that I even wondered about or had any questions concerning

Great people! Very nice campground!

Very dusty coming in to camp ground & all sites right of office. Other wise quiet & nice beach area.

Camp sites very close together. Fumes from my neighbors camp site came directly into my door.

Very nice place, sites are fairly level, utilities are placed well. Plenty of things to do. It is a park for families. We prefer locations that are quieter, but that's just us. You do have to accept and be aware of children running around in the roadways, more movement of cars than usually occurs at an RV park, and loud music played throughout the day and sometimes past midnight.

Nice park with lots of good shaded and lake front spots but close enough to the highway to go anywhere in the Detroit/Ann Arbor areas! There is no pool but there is a large lake play area.

The waterside campsite, location of the campground, the personnel in the camp store were all fantastic. The waterfront looked very nice with lots to do but I was a little disappointed in the extra charge for slide and inflatables. The sites along the water were lovely but i was very happy I was not at another type of site-very crowded. Bathrooms not very clean & wouldn't use showers.

Lots of large shade trees and very quiet. Great place is you have kids. The pool is the lake with lots of water slides, etc. No grass so hope it doesn’t rain.
Jul 23, 2025
The sites are on top of one another. No privacy whatsoever. But, the most disturbing thing was the showers. Five women's showers for 211 sites. And, one of them was out of order. And, they were absolutely disgusting. Filthy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Sean and Craig made us feel so at home. They were so helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to come back.

A quick overnite stay on our way to Mackinaw. Clean comfortable campground with wide access and nice shaded sites. Staff was friendly and there was a very nice play area for our grands kids. My only complaint and not really a complaint was the distance from the interstate. We will stay there again

First time in our new RV. My boyfriend had a scheduled surgery, so my son and I decided to stay in the RV while we had to be in Ann Arbor. The staff was wonderful in helping me when I needed to breakdown RV to move to a full hookup spot. We couldn’t have been happier with the staff, lots and amenities.

Not enough showers or toilets. Every road is a one way road but theres no signs and cars drive where ever they want causing issues.
Jul 22, 2025
Had a great time. Everything was clean and kept up. Staff was wonderful and met all our needs. My group did think the water blowups should not have been an extra charge but all in all a great stay and will return.

Resort is very run down. Was told we had an easy pull through however that was not the case at all.

Loved it, kids had a blast

Overall it was a fine stay. The place was packed and had lots to do. The showers need some work. They were as clean as they could get but just old and in need of remodel. I did not appreciate being hit for another $5 at check in for pet fee. If I list a pet when I book the site it should be included in the price I agreed to pay not added on when I’m already there.

Location and tree cover were great. Office staff were friendly. Wish the roads were at least smooth. Recommend crushed limestone on camp sites and roads.

We checked and we’re asked to pay 5$ for our dog. We stayed the night before in Lincoln, Nebraska at a KOA and dogs were free. We proceeded to our site and set up camp. Twenty minutes later a dog got loose and attacked our dog at our site who was leashed. The camp site was not very quiet at night either.

The main problem we had was with the WiFi and not being able to watch television in the evening.

Great facility, friendly people, nice setting, lots of fun activities in the campground and nearby. Awesome!

Very nice destination for families with kids but roadways could use improvement.

A large campground with a lake for swimming. Spacious. Lots of things to do for kids. Convenient to The Henery Ford and the museum of flight at Willow Run. Shaded or open sites. Convenient to shopping.

This is where my son in law and daughter are staying. They give it a 4 thumbs up rating. They love the birds, including geese and swans

Nice spot by the lake. We were lucky it was dry but I think it would get very muddy if raining. Too many potholes. Descriptions of facilities are exaggerated relative to the quality we observed. That said, Kids seem to love the giant pillow jumping activity - it was never empty.
