The spot was level, shady and very spacious. It was nice to see families enjoying themselves. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good location to do some sightseeing in Detroit. Very peaceful!

The staff was accommodating and the grounds crew were sociable but the sites were small and unkept. Small branches acorns and dried leaves and no gravel or stone in the sites to park on just dirt. Dusty dirt the kind that sticks to everything. Also it was July 4th week and they had no flags. We have been from Massachusetts to Washington State and back and this was by far the worst.

Besides short staff and no activities during the week and shutting down the slide and water bounce slide. Dirt roads with major holes that fill up with water. Bathrooms are disgusting and need cleaning often. Showers are small and dirty.

Our sited was flooded 2 of the 3 days of our stay. it was just mud. the road within the campground were also flooded. On the last day of our stay it was not raining, but the water still remained on the roads and campsite. We had a pull through site within the tree. The site was very small.

The campground look old and trashy. The bathrooms were basically trash. Old rotting floors. Trashy cans were over flowing. Person that was on call did not answer

We like this koa as it's close to home but after staying there and having heavy rain they really need to add gravel to the roads and sites . After the rain everything is muddy but the staff is very friendly.

There wasn’t enough workers, visiting passes are expensive, stayed in a cabin which ac worked great, prices of the store on certain items we needed or wanted where good pricing, we liked the extra bounce house and play stuff for our child. Only thing I was upset about was all the event pages said there would be fire works and none where set off by the koa

The staff was very friendly and although they goofed and put us in an upgraded sight by accident they took on the responsibility and dealt with the issue allowing us to stay where we were instead of making us move to accommodate the other people. It's beautiful but rustic. Lots of weekend activities for kids. Great nearby food and attractions!

Ever since new management seems like there isn’t a lot for the kids to do. No dodge ball, color war game, no music in the slide area, no more big floats in the water. Nothing happening on Friday nights. Kind of disappointing

The staff was great and very helpful. Very friendly. The sites were all dirt and when it rained, it was a Mess. The sites are very narrow.

Wish there were more activities for younger kids (toddlers), the play set is in direct sunlight (not ideal on hot days) - it’s also not toddler friendly, and all or most of the activities cost additional money.

Nice campground. However, we have traveled all over the country, by far the showers were the worst we have experienced...regardless if it was a KOA or not. Otherwise we would give have marks to this campground.

The site they placed us in was very small and the neighbor lot was right up next to our with there sewer drain and power connection right in the area of our patio area. There bathroom was also needing attention. And possibly a few more on the property. There Is a tractor on site they should also in the dry season with no rain go around and water down the roads keep down the dust. KOA can do better

I am shocked that KOA let's this group keep the brand name. You pay $85+ per night and you get a lower quality camping experience than a state park! Every part of this place is run down, dusty/dirty, spaces are tiny and there are very few 50 amp sites in the whole park. Like maybe 10 sites or less. Some of the staff is friendly...some. Camp store is tiny. Won't be back until they fix this.

Our site was extremely spacious and the staff were super friendly. I was also pleasantly surprised that the office/store was open later than most other campgrounds. Will definitely stay here again and recommend this location to others.

Nice location. Could use more gravel on the roads and campsites. Just a little bit of rain and you’ve got a muddy, sloppy mess. Friendly staff with a well stocked camp store.

We visited family that lived in Ann Arbor for a long weekend, it was a beautiful park to come back to every evening and relax.

The bathrooms and showers were bad. We had 2 handicapped people and there were no grab bars, the cement leading to the restrooms was crumbling and uneven. If you have only young healthy people I guess the beach was nice. The bounce house had holes and was not cleaned after rain. For the price paid, I would not return.

First let me say the staff were very nice 10/10, When we arrived we were assigned a site that did not fit what we had reserved 35 ft full hook up it was late but lucky a staff person was there riding around to help us and we did get moved, it did take almost 1 hour and it was already late, also the sewer was blocked so we had to wait for that to be resolved and that delayed our departure

This is nothing but a nasty unattended Dirt and mud hole! No upkeep. Little to no gravel. Roads are just mud or dirt. This definitely should not be rated a Holiday.

Ther person at the desk was very friendly, the prices were fair for the site and kayak rental, firewood prices were fair, it was all around an amazing experience for me and my family.

There midweek June 24-25. Saw $10.00 passes for additional fun. The water things are only open on the weekend so no need for passes. Also, with no explanation or notice, an additional 20.00 and a 5.00 charge to our credit card. Fees for boats, bikes more than listed on website and in welcome email. Clean, quiet and not very busy. So dirty. Then it rained and it was so muddy. We have been to our fair share of KOA’s and this is not high on the list to go see again. Trees are an issue with bigger trailers getting in and out of spots.

We squeezed in our spot between two giant trees. We had to back out of our spot because people had to park in the road because their spots were to small. Showers and bathrooms were old and not very clean. This park was not up to KOA Holiday standards.

We enjoy camping at Detroit/AnnArbor. The staff is always helpful and Chris would be a awesome manager.

KOA's may have a bad rep over consistency but I've been lucky enough to stay in what I'd wager the best one of all the KOA's. The staff here is what makes it special and there's Hershey ice cream available.

We had been regulars at another nearby KOA for the past 15 years however due to some changes there, we decided to try out this Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA. What a surprise. We love it. The sites were great, the staff was great, the fishing was great, everything was awesome. Last weekend was our second Halloween weekend there and we had such a great time. Even the camp store passed out candy during trick or treating. We can't wait to come next summer to try out the water slide.

The camp ground was super clean. Our campsite was overlooking a lake and it was beautiful. We went during the Halloween weekend, tons Oslo stuff foe the kids. We have already made plans to return
