I stayed in a basic cabin. It was disgusting. This cabin was dirty and dusty. Dirt in the corners.....just gross. The shower stalls were also disgusting. The showers and cabin looked like it hasn't been properly cleaned in weeks. Just disgusting!

Least updated facilities in any koa ive stayed at. To charge the overly high prices this location does then having to pay extra for all the water things, its a scam. This location sucks, shame on yall.

The whole place was filthy and disorganized. The only exception were the two ladies working in the office. Those employees were fantastic. The owner of this KOA really needs to reinvest in the property and update the showers, laundry, and misc outbuildings.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very polite and the activities were fun and exciting for the kids, especially the light up party and the wagon ride through the site getting wet

Fun, Family Friendly Grounds. We stayed for the first time in August of 2025. I care for my parents, so it is a nice weekend get away and close enough to my home that I can go back and forth if I'm needed. I love that they do holiday events too. Last year we passed candy out to the Trick-or-Treaters at Halloween. Relaxing and Fun, Fun place to stay,

Store is offers little and pricing is outrageous. Restrooms and showers are few and far from nice. Since there is a nice sandy beach it would be nice if there was an outside wash area for sand removal. Would not stay again and only stayed due to closeness to UofM hospital

our site #31, good; 5 sites to our left 3 dogs barking every time someone walked by, kids on E-scooters riding fast, people noisy till 2am both nights...

The site was in great condition - and the staff were stellar, Access to lake was amazing, and the grounds seem to attract family orientated groups. Other campers were friendly and respectful about sound levels.

Great campground with the exception of holey and muddy campsite. The hookup area is especially messy. I had to clean all my hoses, etc just to depart. Would recommend leveling and graveling to improve the area.

It was awful. Dirty bathroom and showers. Hardly saw a blade of grass anywhere. The lady on the phone was pleasant when I booked it. The drinking water stunk. Never again.

The dogs enjoyed the trail around the lake! We had plenty of room on our site, too! Not too far from Ford Museum, either!

Very courteous and helpful staff. Allowed us to change doors when we found a nicer one. Sites were clean and clear of debris. Beautiful beach area for the kids.

We were at a tent site across from the cabins. Fri night, the people staying in the cabins were partying past 10p. It was a Fri night so let them be but when they were still loud at 12:30, I called the after hours phone twice. Nobody answered. I left a voicemail. Saturday night, the same people were even louder at 2am! I called 3 times, no answer. Whats the point of this number if nobody answers?

After a large rain downpour all the sites were flooded. If you have stone sites, you need to grade the sites to keep level. If we had stayed there, we would have been stepping into about 8 inches of water. Our fire ring was out near the road where it would have been dangerous to use. I have stayed at many KOA's and it seems like this is just a campground they slapped their name on.

Nice level site. Needs gravel and the two large stumps removed. You have longer term tenants there that can make some sites not look so nice. All in all decent stay.

Beautiful campground and nice sites, but a disappointing stay. The 5 mph speed limit was ignored, with vehicles and golf carts going over 20 km/h. Quiet hours were not respected, with noise still at 3 a.m. We also witnessed cannabis use. Our first KOA where rules were not enforced and staff took no action. Great potential, but improvements are needed.

Campground is very muddy at times. Would like to see more grass or and gravel through the sites. Good luck if it rains. The campground floods. Overall the KoA is very convenient for us to have a quick getaway not to far from home

Nice park. We only stayed one night but it was a nice set up along the lake. People working there were super nice. If u are towing a vehicle you will need to unhook even if you have a pull thru site. Easy access to the highway and the gravel road was fine entering the park.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The roads definitely need some work and some gravel put down. We only stopped for an overnight stay. I would stay again if I was in the area.

We had a corner spot across the trash dumpster but it was not to bad. We were right next to a cabin in a camper spot. We were able to charge things to our site and they wouls drop off firewood. Th3 showers hot and cold was tricky for some family. Lots of fun for the kids.

Always a fun time! Peaceful, quiet and we have a great time at the beach. This is now our fourth year and many more to come.

Stay at this campground because it’s easy to get to and close to Ann Arbor or things to do in Detroit. Not many KOA’s in the area but this one has a lake and beach to relax at. On the weekdays it’s quite but then it fills up quickly for the weekend warriors.

We made our reservation in November of 2025 for a July 2026 stay. We were assigned a site that barely fit our travel trailer. The site consisted mostly of gravel and as a result was quite dusty. The bathrooms were dirty due to insufficient staff to deal with the large number of campers. All in all I was very unsatisfied with my stay.

Stayed for our anniversary, and Morgan Wallen concert. It was a very nice park with lots of amenities for kids, and a nice walk path around the lake of a little more than a mile. Close to Detroit, and the Big House

Park was nice. Lots of amenities (beach, waterslide, inflatable, mini golf, play area). Sites were VERY tight with lots of trees. Tough to get a big rig in and out with cars parked on the side. All dirt roads, luckily weather was dry but I could see lots of mud during rainy days. Would come back again depending on site number.

So close to Detroit and Ann Arbor. We had a spot next to the lake, swans snd turtles and fish jumping to go along with the view. Lots there for kids to do. Loved it there.

Everything was great, I was a little disappointed as we bought wood on Friday night and it wouldn't light and you could tell it was wet. When I asked them about it they said there's nothing to do essentially...

It was close to the event we were attending. There was absolutely no grass on our site, all dust!!! Lots and lots of dust throughout the entire park. The cost of the site PLUS all the extra fees was ridiculous. Doesn’t a normal family have 4 people? Why charge for “extra” people when it’s only 4? Total nickel and diming your people. We won’t be back. Oh and did i mention all the dust?

We stayed two nights in July. Everything was clean and the staff was so nice. We rented a paddle boat and had a great time. Thank you!

KOA's may have a bad rep over consistency but I've been lucky enough to stay in what I'd wager the best one of all the KOA's. The staff here is what makes it special and there's Hershey ice cream available.

We had been regulars at another nearby KOA for the past 15 years however due to some changes there, we decided to try out this Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA. What a surprise. We love it. The sites were great, the staff was great, the fishing was great, everything was awesome. Last weekend was our second Halloween weekend there and we had such a great time. Even the camp store passed out candy during trick or treating. We can't wait to come next summer to try out the water slide.

The camp ground was super clean. Our campsite was overlooking a lake and it was beautiful. We went during the Halloween weekend, tons Oslo stuff foe the kids. We have already made plans to return
