We stayed for one of the Halloween Weekends. Lots of activities going on! Staff is always wonderful Park is continuing to upgrade, We stay here several times each year. Love it!!

We were staying to fish in Detroit. There was a mixup where we were told over the phone a site number. We arrived and set up. Then other people arrived and there paper said the same site. We had to tear down and move due to this misinformation. I also tried to use KOA points for ten dollars off, but for some reason it was not applied. A bit frustrating.

Great staff ... nice campground but mud everywhere. No gravel on sites or roads. Main drive riddled with potholes.

Large KOA, but good sites. Pleasantly surprised to participate in an early Halloween event! Must have been 150-200 children and young adults trick or treating in nasty, wet weather. The park roads are gravel/dirt which does make for some messy walking and driving.

The sites could use some attention. Did not see and concrete pads and seemed to be a lot of permanent campers.

The bathrooms were consistently unclean throughout the weekend. Quiet time was not enforced, loud bass music until 1:30a from a campsite 2 rows away from us kept us awake every night. The activities were fun and well run. Despite the weather, the weekend was a successful and fun adventure.

Need more bathrooms. Dog area is very small and not well kept. No dog bags either. Store should open earlier than 9:00 am. At 8:30 there were 5 us of standing out there and had to wait till 9:07. Also, I had emailed a few times prior to my staff is ask what Halloween events were being offered as it was our first time camping there. I got vague responses, could not participate in all events. Bummer

Campground filthy,toooo costly for what you have. It is not worth the price you charge, and the male office help was more concerned looking out the window and not with the customer

Our only complaint would be the size of our site. It was very small and cramped. The campground was nice and we liked that we were able to have a late checkout for a reasonable rate.

Small sites are very small and tight to maneuver. Some street signs are missing. Great staff. Lots of activities which is a plus! Bathrooms are far from the majority of sites and not cleaned regularly. Great water pressure and shower heads. Dirt roads add to the camping ambiance during dry weather, but takes away from bike riding, running, hiking during rainy weather.

It was “meh” for a Halloween weekend. We’ve done a Halloween weekend at various KOA’s for the past 5 years. This one was the least festive and least enjoyable. Would recommend Monroe or Port Huron instead for Halloween. Suggestions: gravel the roads. It was beyond muddy. I would anticipate lots of mud at a state campground, not a KOA. Also, up the price per site to include the jumping p

Lovely people at the desk! Not sure I would stay there again though - sites are very close together. Showers are incredibly small. Loud fellow campers cranked up the music at 1000 when the office closed. I wish the roads were gravel instead of the limestone treatment - when wet they made EVERY single thing inside and outside my RV dirty with very white mud that's incredibly hard to clean off.

I was there on a business trip. The campground is nice, although the spaces are a little close together. Since they were not near capacity when I was there, this did not affect anything. I'm sure my grandkids would have enjoyed the playground if they had been along. It looked nice when I drove by. The staff were friendly.

Arrived late there was a nice young man named Sean there, we spoke briefly he told me what i needed to do about getting settled for the night and gave me some information for the next day. Nice setting beside the the small lake/pond.

Only stayed one night, don’t think that we would return. Pull through sites were flat but basically on mud/dirt. Showers were very small and dated. No cable TV, and little or no staff available after 5.

They need to put more gravel on their sites so you do not have to jump around puddles., I had reserved a site for a 43' RV towing a vehicle, so they put us in a site they said was for a 45' RV,. It made it rather difficult to get out of the road. If they could not accommodate they should of said so and I would have found another campground,.

We came for Halloween camping. The weather was terrible on Saturday (not your fault) everything else was good. Only complaint is I still don't see the upgrades to justify raising the rates almost double.

You would think that after having our deposit money for four months they could honor our request to camp near our travel partners. Then they put our partners in an area that did not match their reservation. In the end they were able to resolve these issues but the staff did not seem to care about our concerns during check in and basically did not listen to us at all.

Relaxing and nice. Still think the showers could be upgraded for the price for a weekend stay. Also for the price not charge visitors $10 a head when they’re not using the camps amenities

Nice campground! Easy access to Ann Arbor area. Lots of amenities for kids and families. Clean facilities and VERY friendly staff. Great choice for football weekends or family camping.

For our Halloween camping trip we were sadly disappointed in this location. Almost all of the activities were cancelled for the kids due to weather, but they had a covered pavilion and an indoor activity area they could have utilized. The store was severely lacking basic need items as well. The only positive we’re the fantastic individuals that were present to answer all of our questions.

We had a great stay! The campground was clean and all the staff were extrémalo friendly. We were rained on heavily and we stayed very dry (we tent camped). I went with a friend but Olán on visiting again with my kids and my friend is bringing her kids as well!

A Lovely Campground! We stayed in site 119 along the river with close access to walking trail around the lake. Watching the Geese and Swans on the lake was a particular enjoyment.

We arrived in the middle of a torrential rainstorm and found our site to be very nice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Showers could use some updating.

The camp site was very crooked, The showers are terrible, Did not like the camp store, Campground just seems run down. Now you did have a lot of stuff for the kids to do that's nice

Just stayed with my family over the weekend! Beautiful and serene environment right by the water. Definitely would recommend it!
