Staff are great and the location is very good, but the roads and sites could use some grading and some serious gravel replacement. Everything becomes very muddy after even a short rain. The Wi-Fi was also very poor during my stay and at times my cell data was faster.

Great campground! Clean and very well kept. We enjoyed walking by the Lake. Great location. Not far from Ford Museum about 35 minutes away and Buddy’s Detroit Style Pizza was fabulous!

We were in site 13 for an overnight stay and it was a good site for our 41' fifth wheel. The campground was nice and the fishing was good.

over priced, even donuts and cider for $4 while they serve it out of a meijer container with a $4.99 sticker and then barely fill the juice cup. gold carts dirty. costume contest is a populartiy contest there needs to be judges.

The first night of my stay, I was put on a site that was for a travel trailer with no slides and it was too late to switch. The sites by the water are beautiful and there are a lot of activities.

I went to take a shower in their facility and it looked like they had never been cleaned.

The campground has no paved streets and it was a big muddy mess both nights we stayed there due to rains. Our camper got filthy dirty from the mud, and the morning we departed, it took us over an hour just to pack up our outside gear because we had to wash all of the mud off it. The showers were also very old with poor and lukewarm hot water. This campground is a stain on the KOA brand.

The biggest detraction would be planes. Sometimes they were loud. The campground is full of amenities. Families with children would be pleased. Checkin very fast and efficient. My brother and sister (who had never been camping) liked taking walks. There are single person showers which is a major plus. We were in a motorhome so we didn't use them. The bathrooms seemed cramped but very clean.

I came, desperate and exhausted...I saw, an opportunity for an extended stay...I conquered, because my inexperience was met with warm and accommodating camp attendants and camp neighbors. And God was with me the entire journey from Virginia to this Blessed Ground in Michigan. Seems forever had I longed for so much Peace and Quiet. Forever Grateful am I. ���

The site we were in barely had enough space for our truck and trailer. Couldn't pull out forwards because there was a tree making it impossible to turn left. Had to back out. Had to park our truck next to the trailer with barely enough room to open the door.

My stay was a good one. The only negative thing is something that I'm experiencing at a lot of campgrounds. The fact that long-term "campers" take away from what was once a friendly experience with neighboring campers. My one neighbor had a wrecked car which he proceeded to pressure wash along with his dirty work truck and the camper. My other neighbor wasn't there for the 4 days I was there.

Nice campground we had a waterfront site and it was great full hookup everything worked as it should. Showers could use a update. Camp store had everything you needed. Will camp here again!!!

The park is pretty clean and ok. However, the office staff has a lot to be desired. We rolled in late about 10pm, due to a breakdown which took four hours worth of repairs. We asked the office for help to our site. They told us to figure it out. Luckily an employee riding around in a cart offered help. He said well you’re not gonna fit in the site they gave you. He radioed in and got it changed.

Staff and managers are so friendly and helpful! The campground is well maintained. Sites are level and hookups properly placed. Choose a lakefront site - they are beautiful and relaxing. Lots of activities and things for kids. Close to The Henry Ford Museum and other museums. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The staff are very friendly and I think their manager is outstanding. I made a comment about the bathrooms and they were fixed immediately. Great job all!

We enjoy this campground. We come several times a year. Beautiful lake views. Friendly people. New manager this year and can see the improvements he is making. Had a fun haunted walk after trick r treating. One suggestion would be to let families know that there will be trick r treating on Saturday night before they arrive to camp. Heard folks say they didn’t know.

Very disappointed to find out the showers were not safe for adult with cane. Outside Showers were cramped & required stepping up & over without any grab bars & no bench to sit on to put on clothes or shoes. 1 bigger almost accessible unisex bathroom inside (by laundry) had a shower symbol on the door, but no shower in it. Inside showers had plastic stool, but still a step, no grab bar. Not ADA.

Enjoyed kayaking on the lake. It was a clean and quiet campground. The only thing we didn't like was the pot smoke drifting onto our campsite from a neighboring site.

I have a 25 ft 5th wheel. I was put in a 25ft space where my rv barely fit between the roadway on both front and rear of my vehicle. Had to park Mt truck next to the fire pit. A couple days of rain left only the tires of my rv out of standing water. Place needs help

It was extremely muddy. We had no power our last day. Used our own batteries for electricity. Called me at 5pm to let me know, since we were out. Offered a new space. But, we were leaving early the next morning. Would not recommend this KOA. It was oir first time using KOA in years. We won’t make that mistake again for the price of our week. All of the State parks are much nicer and lest expens

We stayed there last year & it was a total mud hole. I came again this year feeling they just didn’t have time to gravel the roads or the non grass sites. Well I was wrong! It again was a total mud hole! My truck is muddy, my trailer is muddy, my trailer trunks are muddy because the water hose, sewer hole, & electric hole is put in the trunk ! I will never be back !!!! Please don’t stay here !

Too bad it rained so much, and you haven't paved your entry and rxit. Car we were towing caked with mud, and clothes all muddy removing the towing straps. Also, give alternative directions when they decide to do roadwork on the roundabouts leading to your campground! Other than that, nice stay.

pretty expensive for a basic park, the amenities are catered to families not much for the traveling rv'ers. The sites are subpar and not worth the expense. They should put more money into paving roads and adding gravel to sites for the price point.

Staff were exceptional. Friendly and extremely helpful. But... The roads in this facility are horrendous. It was raining, but there were dirt roads and mud everywhere. The potholes were deep so filled with rainwater. Some gravel would help tremendously. Like I said, staff were GREAT!

KOA's may have a bad rep over consistency but I've been lucky enough to stay in what I'd wager the best one of all the KOA's. The staff here is what makes it special and there's Hershey ice cream available.

We had been regulars at another nearby KOA for the past 15 years however due to some changes there, we decided to try out this Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA. What a surprise. We love it. The sites were great, the staff was great, the fishing was great, everything was awesome. Last weekend was our second Halloween weekend there and we had such a great time. Even the camp store passed out candy during trick or treating. We can't wait to come next summer to try out the water slide.

The camp ground was super clean. Our campsite was overlooking a lake and it was beautiful. We went during the Halloween weekend, tons Oslo stuff foe the kids. We have already made plans to return
