Showers need work and benches

Stayed for a week. Grounds staff were helpful and kind. Sarah in the office was pleasant and knowledgeable. The older shower stalls need to be updated. Out of the 2 newer shower stalls only 1 of them has hot water. I will return to this campground again.

Sites are a little tight for larger campers. Showers and bathrooms were clean. They were under prepared for Halloween camping with tie dye and painting. Nothing really in the camp store. If you need eggs, bread, or even a coke you would need to leave the grounds. Texting information for events is a great idea. We only encountered two friendly workers at the KOA. Everyone else was rude.

We always have a phenomenal time. The GM, Sean and his staff are on top of all the family friendly activities and making sure all accommodations are readily available. We can't wait for next season.

I live in my rv and only stayed 2/3 nights I paid for because another camper assaulted me. He pulled in after hours, demanding I give him my site, screaming, cursing and banging on my rv door. He ripped up my camping map and threw it in my face. I called after hours number and police neither of which were responsive. I went into the office the next day and the two workers in there did not seem to

We are thankful to have been able to stay near our family. Our site was wonderful. However, the wifi did not work the whole time we were there. It would work as we got nearer to the office. Also the roads were in poor shape. We stayed through the week and the staff started working on the roads towards the end of the week. (I guess to take care of the weekend visitors)

The location was good but having rained for a day or two turned the dirt into a muddy passage. The sites were gravel but most of the rest of the roadways were mud holes, some from site to site. Would be a nice stop but not in the rain.

Not the typical campground we prefer. Placed our 30' travel trailer on a site where the electric post and water hook up are close the center of the site. Saw several open sites that would have accommodate our TT a lot better.

The stay was good. Reserved a no tree 50 amp and was put into a tree covered 50 amp.

My campsite was definitely the dirtiest one I’ve ever stayed at. Trash and leaves everywhere. Before we set up, I had to rake the entire site. I’ve been told by everybody that encountered at that campground that things were totally different when the last owner on it. Not sure if I will be back.

Disappointed in the disarray of the park. We and our family members had to clean the debris such as leaves and twigs from our sites to be able to pull in. Also the dust is a major factor of not going back. Please spray the roads so it’s not a dust storm anytime someone drives by.our cars/campers were full of dust when we left.

Very poorly maintained KOA. POTHOLES are all over roads, showers not warm and woman’s showers had tiles missing. Old shower curtains roof was leaking rain onto counter so didn’t want to use. Many long term campers with unkept sites. Would not have expected this to be a koa, let alone in the holiday category. Sorry for negative review but must be honest. So bad I did not use shower fac

Park has dirt roads and pads that are extremely narrow. We barely fit and we have a tiny trailer. Many full time residents, actually most of the park. Bathrooms and showers are old and very poorly maintained. We left early.

The location to the University of Michigan campus is ideal! While the campground is making progress with improving the grounds, there is still a lot of work to do.

We enjoyed walking the trail that goes around the lake in the fall. They do not have a lot of 50/30 amp full,hook-ups so you definitely need to plan a head. Found they had a lot of 30 amps hook-up’s and they are definitely in wooded area’s. They have a lot of back-in’s that back up to the lake. They have an open non-wooded area for class A’s and long travel trailers but only a few spots.

While the staff is responsive?, and trash pickup at the site is a great service, we won't return during October again. We were surprised with all of the Halloween activities. But the pop guns being used across from us were unnerving. Beautiful lake with wildlife. We just don't celebrate Halloween and wish we had been informed.

Waterfront was fine, better because sites adjacent were empty. Road was incredibly dusty. Staff surface watered only the dirt road next to the office to control clouds of dust. Facilities were tired / think similar to a rundown children’s camp. Shower pressure and hot water supply were good though! Office staff friendly

We camped at site 99. It is surrounded by gravel roads. Maximum speed should be 3 miles per hour and enforced. Most drivers were respectful, while a few didn’t seem to care. The park and its facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff is kind and helpful. We hiked to the other side of the lake. I did some fishing and my wife got some sun. Overall we had a great time!

Park has come a long way in the last couple years. Nice pull through out front. Perfect size for our big rig with towed.

We enjoyed the lake and mature trees. We appreciated the coffee in the office in the mornings. We were grateful to the helpful and kind staff.

The campground was basically fine. You’re doing a great job with Halloween. I have two serious complaints. #1 The push faucets in the bathroom are lame. Really. #2 The hot water is an inexcusable problem. Mostly there is none. It’s also uneven. The outdoor showers might have it, but not the two undoors. This is not a problem of a “busy” period. We were there for Halloween camping weekend. Weather was great FINALLY (past few years it has rained). Had great time. Not very many tricker treaters like in the past years. Only issue is since KOA took over the rates have gone way up and not alot of upgrades as of yet, and I see they are going up again for 2025. Hopefully I don't get priced out as this a good weekend get away for my wife and I.

Everything was great we had a wonderful time. However if anything would be keep me from coming back there it would be the Dust. It was horrendous. It really surprises me that you guys don't put down some calcium chloride especially coming in near the entrance where the exit and entrance roads are. Really bad dust.

A large campground with a lake for swimming. Spacious. Lots of things to do for kids. Convenient to The Henery Ford and the museum of flight at Willow Run. Shaded or open sites. Convenient to shopping.

Nice spot by the lake. We were lucky it was dry but I think it would get very muddy if raining. Too many potholes. Descriptions of facilities are exaggerated relative to the quality we observed. That said, Kids seem to love the giant pillow jumping activity - it was never empty.
