Roads are poorly maintained and were very muddy when I arrived. A number of long-term campers with a LOT of vehicles which gave it a "mobile home park" feel. Hookups could use updating, no cable TV and WiFi was spotty. In general, the sites could use some attention to cut back trees and improve the sites and make them look like somebody cares!

Very WET! Even had water balloon fights with fun Rain and more RAIN. But love the donuts in the morning, keep those going.

We came in on Sat July 1 for 1 night. The site was a nice level pull thru with full hookup. It was raining when we arrived and everything was muddy with several puddles everywhere. There were a lot of activities going on with a firework display that night. The showers and restrooms were clean. Tons of gravel need to be spread throughout the campground. 3 star due to poor condition of roads

Campsite 70 needs some new gravel. It is almost all dirt and was like a swamp after the rain. Also, it was upsetting that I had to clean up after someone else’s dog (in several places through your site) before we could set up and relax.

Very nice park but I’ve never heard of any park charging a guest that’s not staying over night money. This is absolutely ridiculous! $10 each for my son and daughter-in-law to visit their children. $20 unexpected charge. Un called for.

Roadways were too narrow and poorly maintained. Campsites too close. No picnic table, fire ring badly rusted. Campground overcrowded. Surprised KOA approved. Recommend to stay elsewhere.

Nice wooded camping, has potential to be a beautiful place. Disappointed in the wifi but lived without it. Kids had fun in the lake.

Office closed after 5 so no access to jump pad or mini golf equipment. Beach area full of goose poop.

Bathrooms were dirty and did not drain property. Camp sites not properly maintained. Could smell weed in parts of the campground.

We enjoyed this KOA in 2022 very much. This year the opposite. Restroom and shower were disgusting, not usable. Kids attractions not open at advertised times, office/store staff very rude, even in front of kids. That the for sure the last stay. Wonder what has changed, we loved it in 2022…to bad.

This park should not be associated with KOA! The interior roads are terrible and the park is completely outdated. With improvements this could be a great place to stay.

Kind of tight spot for us. Sewer hook up was uphill and in the campsite next to us. Overall a great spot by the lake. # 119. Roads had some fairly bad pot holes. Charges to use some amenities that are free at other campgrounds. Sewer covers not glued in place.

Another great stay, 3rd so far this season. Staff is great, as always. Looking forward to our other stays that we have booked. One suggestion though. You really need to take care of the pot holes in the road. They're getting bad. Other than that, everything was stellar.

It was nicer when I stayed a year or so earlier. So a bit disappointed. There was trash at our site on arrival and LOTS of dog poop as I walked around. But the lake is pretty

Very nice smaller KOA. The camp settings are nice and shaded. Loved all the inflatables for the kids (I don't even have kids but thought it looked fun). Only 2 negatives: The "streets" are dirt. While we were there it rained and mud was everywhere. With 2 dogs, this was an issue. The path around the lake could be trimmed to make it easily walkable. Lots of poison ivy on that trail.

While our site was nice it was not a positively memorable please for us. Staff was rude a few times. Facilities we old and some were not functioning. You had to pay extra for amenities that really should be included in the cost and they didn’t even open them during the week or on Sundays. We were pretty disappointed.

Check in staff not friendly. The park is a big mud pit. Huge pot holes, no grass, road conditions are bad. Sites way too close together. Used latex gloves on the picnic table. Ants are a huge problem. Areas need to be treated. Need gravel at the sites to reduce the awful mud.

Our second time in this campground. Location is very convenient. Lady and gentleman at the office when we checked in were helpful and friendly. The guy with the golf cart could lay off some grumpiness, just a little. It has the attraction of the water location, and it would really be incredible if they could spruce up the grounds. All in all, an Ok place to stay a few days.

nice lake and hiking trail. The spaces were very close together. They had great shade under the trees. Dock and lake were nice but chasing the geese to get them off the lawn was a bit much to watch. Lots of Michigan potholes in the road into the facility. Be sure to watch out for kids on bicycles as you exit the park. Several kids were racing on the roads and not watching for traffic.

We enjoyed our campsite, large site, plenty of trees, water and electric. It rained while we were there and the grounds were muddy, very understandable. Office staff were great & helpful. Activities were offered for children. The unpaved roads were a terrible mess. They were filled with large potholes which were made worse by the mud. This park must make an effort to improve the roads.

Biggest reason for low rating is the terrible condition of the roadways. Potholes upon Potholes. You are greeted with rv jolting craters the moment you pull into the entrance. Especially bad in rain. Fix that and you've got a much more attractive campground.

The site itself was decent. The amenities were poor. The store opened at 9:00a.m. Closed at 5:00. We camped there because of close proximity to Dearborn but also to enjoy the campground. Could not do this. No firewood, game pieces for mini-golf, horseshoes, bounce pad, no swimming on inflatables or water slide. In all…no activities available. Showers were dirty, toilets and sinks were just ok.

Nice staff. Very helpful. Roads were rutted and pretty muddy. pavement or gravel would help. Paddle boat was fun. Lots of stuff for kids. Firepits were sadly subpar.

It was just okay. The water slides and bounce houses are only available on the weekends, and are an additional charge. Our site was infested with carpenter ants and fire ants. Sites are narrow.

The road in was horrible, the place was a mud hole from start to finish. Our our pull through site was in fact not. The turn to get out was to tight and we had to back out to leave in the am. Not very convenient. The picnic table had a hole burned through the top and was unusable. No assistance to get to our site. All on all it did not meet any koa standards that we are used to.

Huge potholes within campground need filled. Sandy drives are a muddy mess after a rain. Even had to walk through mud to register. Vehicle needed cleaned from the caked on mud.

The website said. Do you have a pop up camper, small travel trailer or tent and desire a nice shaded site? If so, we have the ideal sites for you. These smaller well shaded sites are ideal for that weekend getaway where you will still have access to electricity and water and a gravel pad for ease of leveling. While this campground has the potential to be very nice one thing keeps it from it. The condition of the roadways and campsite conditions is bad. A little grading and some additional gravel would go a long way to make this campground perfect. If you decide to invest in some roadway improvements we would be happy to stay there again!

Site 142 was nice and shady, but the sewer connection was too far away to hook up sewer and a short hose to the black tank rinse. Showers need renovations and deep cleaning. Dump station hose end fitting would not make a secure connection to my black tank rinse so I ended up leaving the campground without being able to thoroughly clean out my black tank.

The problem that I had with my stay is that other campers walk their dogs through your site and allow them to urinate or do other uses in your campsite. They do not use the designated area for the dogs.

Campground seem nice and the staff was nice. We were disappointed in our site (#36)- the sewer was not near water & electric like other sites. We had to get more rhino sewer pipe to add on and be able to reach for our camper. The fire pit was in a weird spot where know one could sit around it, and our picnic table was broken and had a black contractor bag wrapped around the bench. Site needs TLC

We loved the shade and our waterfront site was lovely. However, the office has limited hours. I know that it might have to do with staffing, but they close EVERYTHING down when the office closes. They turn off the inflatables at 4. The swimming area is only open weekends. We had people fishing off our site each day. Seemed like it’s a big party on the weekends. Our kids were disappointed.

The problem is the driveways are poorly maintained, and have been for years. Plenty of things to do for children, if you have them. Sites are tight, but it serves the purpose for what we needed. They charge extra per guest after the first two. Price is expensive enough for what you get, and then have to pay extra for 2 additional adults. We were honest and paid extra $20.00 per night.

One woman in the office was less than helpful. She was unhelpful to the other staff. She handed us our map and didn’t provide any other info. Their roads are ruddy, muddy and not good to drive on. The woman couldn’t give clear directions when called for a clarification. If coming in from the south the farm roads are rough. The lake is beautiful but we will not be back.

The Staff was very friendly. We loved our stay here. My husband fished every evening, we had a site backed up to the lake. It was well worth the extra cost. We stayed Father's Day weekend. The KOA had a lot of activities for the weekend but we weren't able to participate. (Visiting family)

Friendly staff. Decent sites. Park is a bit dated. The driveway is very rough, with lots of potholes. I would return if traveling through the area.

We have stayed here for several summers. The path around the lake is lovely with Canadian geese and swans. Great place for kids! They have several activities on weekends. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The manager, Sean, really keeps things looking nice!

Came from Ontario Canada. Campsites were clean as well as the restroom and showers. Great staff. Rented a site by the lake. Amazing. Would definitely come back.
