Everything was clean and tidy the sites, bathrooms and showers, laundry . Staff was helpful and friendly. Dog park was great. We had a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and assisted us changing sites without any issues. We were in site 101 at first and it was very tight for our rig. They moved us to a premium site that was open for out stay. It had a nice table and chairs, glider rocker and chimney fire pit.

Live this koa. Staff goes the extra mile for help, restaurant tips. They have a well stocked store and serve food. So close to many parks and towns.

Lovely campground and dog exercise area. Very clean and quiet. First time I have been in a KOA that provided a gas grill with propane. Such a nice touch.

Very convenient location. Mike, Merle and Debbie were very helpful. A very nice campground. I would like to improvements to Kamp K9. It was very small, no shade and bench was on outside of fence. Most people like to be inside with their dogs.

It was a very nice Campground. Only thing I wasn't happy about was the spot they put us in was VERY un level and we couldn't get completely level. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The sites were beautiful. Love that they are changing with the times to fit the bigger rv, motor homes &5th wheels. Will definitely come again. Thanks so a great stay.

Nice campground. Spacing is good with a lot of trees. Close to the highway, but not a problem for us. The one negative was the strong sewer smell all night long. I finally had to close all our windows because the smell was overpowering. The smell continued this morning and didn't dissipate until the wind kicked up. We were in site A4 if that helps to identify the problem.

We loved the clean bathrooms and showers! Pool could stay open a little later. After our day out and about it would have been nice for the kids to use the pool.

For just a night on the road, it’s adequate. At night a strong smell of sewage swept over the campsite, very unpleasant but it didn’t last long. Washrooms dated but sufficient. Pool was out of order. Conveniently close to the Interstate and easy accessible.

The host were friendly, the campground was very well maintained and spacious we would come back in a heartbeat. Loved our time at Custer Mt Rushmore KOA

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
