We used the tent campground. The space was okay because there was a tree buffer between spaces. The restroom left much to be desired. The soap dispensers were either empty or broken. The tenting restroom and showers had no security code. We used the restroom in the middle of the night and there was a homeless couple washing and cleaning up at 2:30 a.m.

Seems to be the standard now to gloss-over or outright deceive campers who reserve tent sites. Tired of seeing standardized descriptions like "gravel" or "mulch" or "grass" for the ground we're expected to pitch on, only to show up and find just dirt. We understand that it's not RV luxury, but at least be honest about what your sites actually look like. Positive, smell of the redwoods never miss.

It's a beautiful camp ground. We stayed in a tent site and they are all very private which was nice. The shower was great. They have put the shower head into a pipe so it comes out like a waterfall, heaven! It's proximity to hiking trails is fantastic and if you ask they have a list and directions to many of the better hikes. The goat likes her neck scratched! It was a great stay!

Staff were friendly, washrooms were clean. Tent sites could use some attention and cleanup. Wifi did not extend out to the tent sites as was stated upon checking in.

Positive - The location was great. Check in easy. The tent section was spacious and had good shade. Negative - No handicapped shower which I needed. Also Laundry room, out of 10 machines, only 1 washer and 1 dryer worked. Had to wait hours to use.

I’ve stayed here multiple times without issue and it’s always been lovely. This time I had staff discard my firewood and discard my camp chair on Saturday when checkout was on Sunday. No tent was set up as I was car camping. I had to leave prior to the office opening, so issue couldn’t be addressed. Pretty frustrating to say the least. Nice campground but campsite had food waste remaining from previous visit. Wasn’t a lot but had to clean up given its bear country. Site was more remote and not close to the office. Not a big deal given camping is meant to be more about connecting with nature but wifi did not work. Office closes early.

We arrived two minutes before closing and when the staff saw us pulling up they couldn’t lock the doors quick enough. We were on motorcycles so we were hoping to purchase some firewood and some drinks for the night. The one bathroom that was open was so nasty we chose not to use it and the other bathroom was locked and we did not have the code. The area was nice but the staff sucks

The campground itself is beautiful. The tent spaces are big, however, the staff was nonexistent, the bathrooms were filthy, the sink where you were supposed to do dishes leaked on your feet, & had no hot water. There were two working showers out of six for the women & there were two working washers and dryers out of six. And they were usually in use by the staff. The play area had broken equipment

Never saw an actual employee (office closes so early). Our campsite wasn’t marked - we had to guess. Bathrooms absolutely disgusting and dirty. There was only one roll of toilet paper for three bathroom stalls in the women’s bathroom. Shower was warm at best and is a random pipe from the ceiling. We stayed previously and were pleased with our stay. This stay we couldn’t leave quickly enough.

The staff was not very helpful. After paying for my stay, the young lady handed me a map with my campsite marked on it. I drove around through a maze of roads for some time before finding it. You need a code to get into the bathroom and she did not inform me of this, but fortunately another camper helped me out. Wifi only works at the main building, which was a long way from my campsite.

The campground made a good gathering spot for our group, although we had hoped for more wooded spots. Minor inconvenience was that the closer showers had no working hot water and of the more distant showers, 1 of the 3 in the women’s area was out of service.

Pros: beautiful setting, people were definitely quiet after quiet hours, easy access to highway to continue our road trip. Cons: There were only two working showers for all women staying at the campsite. The second bathroom has no showers or hot water at all.

Redwoods were beautiful. Tent sites could have used some wood chips or so to soften the base and keep the dust and dirt down. The bathhouses were not clean during our visit

If this had been our first KOA experience we would have never gone back. I’m surprised that KOA allows for this site to hold their name. I could go on and on about the lack of issues at this site, but I’ll keep it simple. Save your money and stay at a state or national park campsite. It will be way cleaner, better staffed, and better priced.

Location was great. However facilities need some work. Out of the 6 or so washer and dryer only one works. Everything was out of order. The showers were also out of order. Only one women’s shower was working out of the entire campsite. Cleanliness was definitely not a priority.

Dirty bathrooms, place claimed they clean daily but its too dirty for it to be cleaned daily. Several showers and toilets didn't work. Dirty towels on the floor (all ladies bathroom). Bathroom doors locked. Staff are not present, close early. Phone is hit or miss to get someone. Staff was telling guests to come back later as she was doing her laundry in all the washers/dryers.

Great location for exploring the Redwoods area. Campsites were nice, but most toilets and showers were out of order during our stay. No hot water in the bathhouse near the tents. Playground was rundown and in need of repair (tripping hazards and some rusty nails exposed).

Facility is not well kept. The showers that were close to our site were not working as three of the stalls had 'out of order' signs posted and missing shower heads. Some of the sites do not have well posted numbers for ID. We arrived after dark and had a hard time identifying our site. We asked a neighbor camper and he had difficulty as well. One of the roads had overgrown foliage, scratched car.

Tent sites are overgrown and a mess. Three showers unusable and filthy restrooms. Front RV area looks fine but obviously the tent area is not a priority. $55 with an extra adult total , not worth it!

Our camp site was great, but there were no amenities really, reservation area was subpar not hot water no showers at our end. All in all it was ok

Camp site 112 was amazing 👏🏾 for my first time here. Great location and not far from pebble beach. Amenities were nice . Bathrooms are open to nature if you dont minds Charlotte's web your in a forest remember. Shower water was nice and hot just needed to find the sweet spot. Staff was great 👌🏾. I drove 4 days to get here from Denver CO. Thank you for the memories I'll definitely be back
