Staff was very friendly and campsite was lovely but there was a pretty big pile of trash that had obviously been left by the previous occupants that I would have expected to have been cleaned before I arrived, especially given that there is a 3hour window between check out for the previous guest and check in for the new guest.

We got a nice cosy secluded "regular" spot in the back with no hook-ups and because the campground was half empty (it was after labor day) it was as if we were alone in the woods except that we could choose to hike 3 mins. to a bathroom and laundry and those were also welcome. The laundry forces you to use a proprietary app (UGGH!). But, I got clean clothes and it only cost $3.25 for the dryer.

Showers need updated, no code for the women's bathroom. The doors just wide open the whole time. Nowhere to put your shower stuff like a side table..only one stall. Water was warm Our site was right in the front so it didn't feel like camping in the redwoods at all. We were by the playground also! Campground was peaceful at night and early morning.

Great location, they had great information flyers for amenities and the different areas of the Redwoods to check out. The price for a tent site with no electricity and the bathroom amenities were terrible and overpriced.

When we got there, we found out there was no running water because another camper had run their spigot over. Even though they got the water back on after a couple hours, there was still out of order stalls especially in the men’s bathroom. There were people being very loud during quiet hours. Little kids screaming and loud music being played at 7 AM. The neighbors had very loud dogs and animals.

Absolutely the worst KOA location I’ve stayed. Extremely poor managed as far as cleanliness of restrooms, campsites. Very disappointing experience. On my recent road trip, I have stayed at total of 4 KOA campgrounds in span of 9 days. Helena, Spokane, crescent city and San Francisco North. Out of four, pleased with three except Crescent City location.

Beautiful spacious tent site among the Redwoods. Space had benches around the fire pit and a sturdy picnic style table. It was located close to the bathroom and trash bins. Clean and well maintained by knowledgeable staff.

We had a wonderful camping trip. Missy in the office was so helpful. We are definitely coming back soon.

Bathrooms needed attention, toilets plugged, some stalls wouldn’t lock, toilet paper empty, septic tank overflowing. Store was lacking supplies and $10 for a very small firewood bundle and an additional $4 for some kindling after paying $50 for a single night tent site is too much.

Quiet, peaceful & relaxed. The hot, strong water pressure clean shower was a plus! Courteous helpful staff was amazing!

I could live at tent site 701! We loved this property. The bathrooms/bath house could use updated, but other than that this place is perfect.

Garbage from washrooms were not emptied. Not enough hot water. Bathrooms were dirty

I called the day after I made the reservations to cancel and left a voicemail. No one got back to me! So, won't be doing this again I'll find another campground that has better customer service.

I normally don't have a good perception of KOA campgrounds as a tent camper but this one actually felt like they had tent camping in mind when it was developed. Semi private sites, and not surrounded by RVs. The showers were decent, too. This was better than the state Park we stayed at another night.

There were rocks where you supposed to put your bed because some dingdong side of the street should be gravel. The men’s shower room would not drain water footed the floor out to the sinks. Overall bad experience.

I had a negative experience, but it definitely wasn’t because of the campground condition or staff. My campsite was close to a bathroom and there was a tweaker couple rummaging around with cans they had collected, making noise and hanging out in the bathroom… I eventually told them to beat it, but it made for a stressful night of sleep

In the past we have had wonderful stays at this location. Most current stay wasn’t as good as previous stays. We were told we would have a specific site, which didn’t happen. Bathrooms/showers are nice and clean, and the campground itself is clean. Staff is very friendly. Just wish there were more tent sites available in the big trees and shaded areas.

The showers and bathrooms were badly in need of renovations - very run down and dirty. The campsites were small and also needed maintenance. For example, there was a tree branch directly over our fire pit.

Great location. The KOA was far enough away to be quiet at night and close enough to go to all of the local attractions (hiking trails, ocean, etc.).

Everything was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The tent campsites were beautiful and nestled into the redwoods.

We had a really great stay here! We were able to check in late, restroom/shower facilities were easily accessible, and campsite itself was perfect (picnic table, fire pit, space for car and tent). Will definitely be staying again!

It was a breathtaking spot, making the reservation and checking in was easy, and the emenities were fine. The only disappointment was the weird shower head.

We had a great stay. The site we were in was spacious and nicely lined with trees and bushes. The campground was quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed use of the dog park and playground. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got to pet the goats and see wild bunnies and baby quail around the canpground, which was fun for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in 606, the fire pit was smaller than the rest, we had no shade or privacy, and we were far from the bathrooms. We did have lots of space, room for a big tent, and 2 canopies, a Pic nic table and a small fire pit. We were right across from the play ground, a bonus because we had kids, not the best for noise as there were lots of other kids and they kept running through our campsite!

I believe we got the best spot to set up our tent. The site felt secluded, peaceful, and safe. We stayed three nights and truly enjoyed it. Space 113 is the best for sure!

Missy and Steve, you two are lifesavers! I was mortified that the truck broke down(and ESPECIALLY on my spouse's birthday), but you guys made sure we were on our way before our checkout time. I'm sure we'll be back as soon as we can afford another stay!

I got in late, real late. I had a good stay. The garbage dumpster was over full and the location was very cramped/tight between campers. Other than that it was ok. �

*not by any fault of the campground* but I showered, which the showers are SO clean and have great pressure and hot water, and I accidentally left my clothes on the sink. Went back to get them and one of shirts had been stolen…really upset that people think it's okay to steal. It was a white long sleeve shirt that said trick or treat with the cast of scooby doo. Thrifted it years ago and really upset someone stole it. My other clothes had been left behind. Leaving something behind on accident does not give anyone the right to steal. Can hear the highway depending on your site. Laundry available for a fee but bathrooms and showers very clean.

Great location to setup your base camp when visiting the redwoods. Also one of the rare RV parks with solid internet.
