Facilities were worse than I expected. Bathrooms need massive repairs. Campsites were pretty flooded after the rain and gravel should be added to them. The so called rec room was the absolute bare minimum and not inviting at all.

The campground is conveniently located off the 101 next to beaches and the town. It's beautiful with an abundance of trees, however there's poor lighting and signage. There was no sign for the loop I was staying in. Get there before sun, because you can't tell what's a path and what's someone's site. Ended up putting a dent in my car side swiping a boulder. Bathrooms had subpar cleanliness.

The office staff were friendly and gave me guidance, and the surrounding environment was nice. The bathroom and shower room were also very clean. Thank you for your kindness.

Initially, it was hard to navigate around the campground-great signage at first and then no signs at all. We did a few loops looking for the right tent spot. The bathrooms nearest to us need some help: very musty smelling, my shower went cold when some other campers started doing dishes outside, soap dispensers not dispensing soap, etc. Amenities did the job but not pleasant. Nice camp site though

Good overall, but bathrooms in the back campsite area did not have hot water for two days. Had to drive out to main office to shower.

I enjoyed my time!! I really appreciated that they were able to check me in early as well that helped a lot!! This was one of the more beautiful KOA sites I’ve been too!:)

Service was just mediocre. The bathrooms near the tent sites were absolutely disgusting and when we brought it to their attention twice- they said well they were cleaned. We have pictures to show otherwise. Also they ran out of propane the last two days and showers were cold. We won’t return.

I stay at KOA’s all the time and this location was the worst one I’ve ever been to. Showers by tents weren’t working and bathrooms are not cleaned daily…gross. Banker hours kept at the store and no one is around to help. No garbage dump station and overall not the best upkeep. Plenty of other nicer campgrounds in the area…keep looking.

Camp site was great after being moved from a mosquito infested site. Bath houses were deplorable, so much so that we opted not to shower until our next stop.

We’ve stayed at 7 KOAs on a cross country road trip and this one was the worst by far. The people in the office weren’t friendly and the office hours were pretty much nonexistent. The “game room” was filthy and had half the game inoperable. Bathrooms were gross and the showers didn’t even have working locks. WiFi didn’t work unless you were at the office. The picnic table at our site was covered with a sticky substance on one end, making that end unusable. One of the 2 toilets in the men’s bathroom was full of feces and toilet paper. The men’s bathroom smelled like dead fish and was filthy. I expected far better from KOA, this was my first and possibly last KOA experience.

We had extreme difficulties trying to get a hold of a staff member to assist us with changing our site. No one answered. We wanted a different spot but when we looked it said everything was booked but no one ever came to fill the spots. No hot water in multiple bathrooms so you could only shower in one bathroom and there was too many people. It was a crappy KOA and we were bummed. Map was wrong.

Nice place. There were a lot of campers and the bathrooms were messy. Great playground and field for the kids. The tents sites were big with lots of trees.Have to drive to a beach, but overall, nice place to stay.

Sites were nice and woodsy. Check-in easy but staff could have been a bit friendlier. No hot water so I was unable to take a shower but the toilets and sinks were clean. Appreciated the design which afforded more privacy than most KOA's. Thanks!

The laundry mat was closed, the hot water in the showers was not working and wasn't told at checking there was a sign on the bathroom. The sites are small and extremely close together. It was not like camping in the Redwoods because the sites are right next to the highway and mostly out in the open. The staff was rude and office/store closes at 5pm

Friendly, peaceful and family oriented. I have stayed at the Crescent City KOA a few times and will definitely be back. Reasonable price, close to many fun attractions, my favorite being the beach! See you next time!

Cleaning bathroom and shower must be done every day (at least)! I stayed for 3 nights, and the 1st cleaning was done the day I left.

Beautiful setting in the tall trees. Lots of shade, which was great coming from several 90+ degree days. Could use more staffing as the office and store closes at 5 and I was prepared to buy beer.

This was my 3rd time at this KOA. The people are super nice and the facilities are great.

Hot water out- couldn’t take showers, wash hands or dishes unless we went across the property to the office area. The main road to our campsite was blocked by an RV for a long duration so we had to go through a play field to get to our site. Both nights campers came into sites next to us and set up tents very late (11pm) and woke our family up- should be a time deadline for arrival.

The bathrooms were very clean, the office attendant was very friendly, the map was helpful, our site was easy to find, and the campsite was lovely! No complaints

They say "Quiet time is strictly enforced." They must have meant "NOT enforced." In addition to our stay being NOT quiet and peaceful, the place was also in poor maintenance.

Nice camp sites and people at the desk were very helpful and well organized. They were able to assign several of our family group to adjacent sites, which we really appreciated. Downsides are that site is a 15 min drive from Jed Smith; that there are no water spigots at the camp sites; and the hot water was out of service in the bathroom. Overall, good alternative to Jed Smith, which was full.

Overall, we were very pleased with the campground and staff! Checking in and out was very simple. Facilities and camp site was clean and flat. Due to sites being placed closely together, the noise from neighbor campers late at night negatively impacted our stay.

Great location, horrible upkeep on bathrooms. Women's restroom passcode is a hard password to remember just a bunch of random numbers in a row, and the mens is super easy to remember (example of mens: 12345 not actual password). Not a super great equality here.. The women's bathroom was out of toilet paper almost every day we were there & trash was over flowing. No one was at front desk to tell.

Location was convenient and somewhat picturesque, but the amenities either did not function or were not clean. Bathrooms were consistently not stocked and filthy. The office hours are inconvenient and it was unclear who to contact outside of office hours if necessary. Obviously understaffed, and existing staff are held to low standards.

This was the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed in. Bathrooms with no hot water, soap dispensers without soap, bathroom stalls without toilet paper. The bathrooms are only cleaned if someone complains. There’s also a theft issue, usually bikes, but in our case someone took all of our clothes while we were away for the day. This campground should lose its KOA designation.

It was really really nice. A lot of people said the bathrooms were terrible but when staying there they were cleaned daily! Everyone was very nice and when it got dark everyone adhered to the quiet rules which made it very enjoyable. They had a little store with food you might have forgot or wood if you needed some. All in all it was a great experience.

Hot water not working in the smaller shower house. Neighbors said they ordered firewood but it was not delivered.

My mom has a pop-up camper, sometimes she likes taking me to places around the USA. KOA has an excellent game room, and awesome pancakes. I love the RV sites,the gift shop, and Tent Sites. The views are wonderful, and the staff are helpful. The trees provide shade for the park.

The location was great! I was car camping and got to wake up looking through my panoramic sunroof right at redwoods. It was in an off season so the office was closed when I arrived and when I left which sucked. (closed at 3pm) Bathroom was clean. Only bad thing is because it's off season not much in near by city was closed early.
