The cabin was clean and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. The bed was comfortable and we were well rested our entire stay.

$50 for linens. We never paid for them at other KOAs. The TV system was not working. The hair dryer did not work. The mattress on the queen bed was awful. Wobbled and squeaked anytime either of us moved. Hard to sleep. Gift shop almost empty.

Beautiful camp ground and nicely maintained facilities. The full size mat in our cabin was so worn out my fiancé and I ended up sleeping with our sleeping pads on the bunk beds. Women’s bathroom was always locked but not the men’s.

A shout out to Missy as we couldn't ask for a more accommodating person. Great personality and a joy to deal with.Very nice, clean campground, as well. I give it a 4 rating only because the main shower/toilets for the men's side only had one toilet working and only one useable shower. The others didn't have doors. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Campground is beautiful. Quiet. Very clean. Only bad thing is our cabin was soooo far from the bathroom that everyone pees outside. It smelled terrible.

This was an absolutely delightful place to stay. The cabin itself was clean and cozy. From check in person to grounds keepers everyone was so nice. Some elk were right up the road and as the night progressed we could hear them bugling. It was amazing! We will definitely stay here again on our travels!

We were wlalk-ins. Whitney was a gem, patiently answering all our questions and setting us up with a lovely cabin in the woods, including linens and firewood. We loved our stay! Thanks Whitney!

Beautiful campground if you are in the part with tall trees/redwoods. The deluxe cabin we were in faced the maintenance shed, which wasn’t great. I suggest some screening/fencing. The cabin was good with okay room for two people. Bathroom didn’t ventilate well and the mattress desperately needs replacing. Also could not get the very small tv to work.

We are so thankful to have a safe place to stay with our dogs on road trips. We were only able to secure a rustic cabin. The sleeping pads are in no way comfortable, but we had a place to rest our bodies. The shower heads are LOW. I am 5’2” and I had to duck down to wet my hair. The staff is friendly. The park is quiet. The scenery is stunning. Thank you for the hospitality.

WE came in about 0100 and found our cabin, to find we didn't have a key to get in, and the after hours number, they will call your back in the morning!! Absolutely unacceptable. Had to find a hotel in the middle of the night, thank you.

We have been coming here for years and absolutely love it!! We met a gal who worked there this last time who had fresh blueberries. She let us know there was a blueberry farm close by- so the next day we spent the afternoon there. Always an amazing time at this KOA!! We love the one bedroom cabins they’re perfect!!

This was my second stay at this KOA and I will definitely stay here again. The cabins are nestled back in the trees and it's such a lovely spot. Our family enjoyed the game room with the piano and the arcade. They also loved visiting with the goats.

The cabin rental was good, however it is right against the highway and is very loud cars driving by at 55mph. Also one window has a broken handle, really needs to be functional. And the working window needs to have a proper screen, it is a screen that leaves a foot of space on each side and falls out everytime you open the door.

After a long drive, you do not want to be told that linens are an extra $50. You just want to unpack the car and rest. It hit me as extremely tacky. I will need to pack a sleeping bag and towels from now on, just in case you want me to buy another set of linen for you. Other than that, the stay was fine.

I have stayed in many deluxe cabins. I could not use the stove without the smoke alarm going off. Had to pay extra for linens, told we'd get 2 sets of sheets, given only one, 3 sleeping bags not adequate, opened them up and used our blankets, 4 forks and spoons, 2 knifes for 6 person cabin, no indication TV inoperable until we asked. RV dump station right next to cabin which we smelled while in us

Positives. The campground was extremely beautiful: camping among the Redwoods in spacious sites. You could see the stars. Had recycling. Negatives. The office hours were short. Stayed at 7 different KOAs this trip. Our closest bathhouse was worst of trip & any KOA ever, fell way short of KOA expectations. Bathouse was overly/always full, cold showers, dirty sinks & overflowing trash.

We stayed in two of the cabins which were clean and comfortable. The campground is quiet and pretty. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient to Crescent City and Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This KOA gives you a wonderful and affordable way to stay in the redwoods. We stayed in a camping cabin surrounded by trees. The cabin was well situated and cozy. There isn't a lot going on at this KOA vs others but if you are looking for a laid back experience, this is a great option.

We stayed here on our way North to Washington and it was our first choice when we were diverted in our plans due to fires going back South. Clean facilities and fun for the kids. Both of my kids loved the playground, game room, but probably the goats and rooster the most!

A great location just on the North side of Crescent City! We liked being away from the town and being nestled partially in Redwoods made it feel special. Our deluxe cabin was very clean and we loved having plates, bowls, silverware, shampoo/soap, and dish soap all included. The property itself wasn't as fancy as others we've stayed at, but the cabin and location made up for it.

The employees were nice and helpful upon checkin. The dryer wasn't working but found an employee afterhours to help. There was an unexpected heat wave and was too hot to stay in the cabin as it was cooler outside as the evening fell. The front desk did not have any fans, so we slept outside for most the night until the mosquitos were unbearable. Wish the office could of provided more relief

the location is practical and the cabin was nice enough. too bad they have to shove in tents in between so that there was a campers right on top of the cabin and therefore little to no privacy at the site.

Great location but the worst maintained KOA facility I've been to. Bathrooms always dirty and no soap. Both campgrounds I went to (I had to transfer cabins) had trash on the ground or stuff in the fire pit. The picnic benches had screws sticking out that you could easily snag yourself on. The staff was nice and the facilities were nice otherwise.

I came to Crescent City on my own, a little uncertain about staying on my own at KOA. Whitney at the front desk put me completely at ease— kind, welcoming and helpful. Afterward, I felt very much at home at KOA and Whitney continued to be a great resource throughout my stay. I booked Benbow when I got home because I enjoyed the KOA vibe so much! Thanks for a fantastic experience :)

Would be nice to get thicker pads in the cabins and either enforce the leash on animals or charge for pets. Got up at 3am to use restroom and had a dog on the porch barking at me. Not my animal!!!

*not by any fault of the campground* but I showered, which the showers are SO clean and have great pressure and hot water, and I accidentally left my clothes on the sink. Went back to get them and one of shirts had been stolen…really upset that people think it's okay to steal. It was a white long sleeve shirt that said trick or treat with the cast of scooby doo. Thrifted it years ago and really upset someone stole it. My other clothes had been left behind. Leaving something behind on accident does not give anyone the right to steal. Can hear the highway depending on your site. Laundry available for a fee but bathrooms and showers very clean.

Great location to setup your base camp when visiting the redwoods. Also one of the rare RV parks with solid internet.
