The bathrooms were very clean, the office attendant was very friendly, the map was helpful, our site was easy to find, and the campsite was lovely! No complaints

They say "Quiet time is strictly enforced." They must have meant "NOT enforced." In addition to our stay being NOT quiet and peaceful, the place was also in poor maintenance.

Nice camp sites and people at the desk were very helpful and well organized. They were able to assign several of our family group to adjacent sites, which we really appreciated. Downsides are that site is a 15 min drive from Jed Smith; that there are no water spigots at the camp sites; and the hot water was out of service in the bathroom. Overall, good alternative to Jed Smith, which was full.

Overall, we were very pleased with the campground and staff! Checking in and out was very simple. Facilities and camp site was clean and flat. Due to sites being placed closely together, the noise from neighbor campers late at night negatively impacted our stay.

Great location, horrible upkeep on bathrooms. Women's restroom passcode is a hard password to remember just a bunch of random numbers in a row, and the mens is super easy to remember (example of mens: 12345 not actual password). Not a super great equality here.. The women's bathroom was out of toilet paper almost every day we were there & trash was over flowing. No one was at front desk to tell.

Location was convenient and somewhat picturesque, but the amenities either did not function or were not clean. Bathrooms were consistently not stocked and filthy. The office hours are inconvenient and it was unclear who to contact outside of office hours if necessary. Obviously understaffed, and existing staff are held to low standards.

This was the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed in. Bathrooms with no hot water, soap dispensers without soap, bathroom stalls without toilet paper. The bathrooms are only cleaned if someone complains. There’s also a theft issue, usually bikes, but in our case someone took all of our clothes while we were away for the day. This campground should lose its KOA designation.

It was really really nice. A lot of people said the bathrooms were terrible but when staying there they were cleaned daily! Everyone was very nice and when it got dark everyone adhered to the quiet rules which made it very enjoyable. They had a little store with food you might have forgot or wood if you needed some. All in all it was a great experience.

Peak of tourist / visitor season in July Campsite was fine - as expected 2 bathroom / showers in campground - site in back near one bathroom had no hot water for showers -- had to go across campground to shower. Also the washing machines were out- nonfunctional people there for several days saw no actions to fix either -- just a sign

We stayed in the tent site. There was no wood chip as in the description and the bathrooms by the tent sites where not very clean, old toilet seats and no hot water. We were not very impressed.

Half of the campground is off limits due to fallen trees and debris covering roadways. Roadways are overgrown and sites are unmarked. The office/store was only open 10-5. No hot water in the back bathrooms so no showers or dishes there, you had to walk all the way to the front. Those bathrooms were quite dirty and rarely stocked. High amounts of theft in the campground as well. Not the best KOA.

Not very accommodating and very inconvenient compared to what we expect at KOA's. We have a small 18ft travel trailer and if we ran our AC or hairdryer (not even together), the power would trip. Then our son and his wife were in tents and their was no hot water in the shower house near the tents. Lastly and most importantly, the laundry facilities were down. There are only two laundromats in town

No hot water. No shower. I was there 3 nights, women's small trash receptacle overflowing, never cleaned. Stopped up sinks. Dirty. Clearly not managed well. There's a private campground up the road with initials RR. I should have stayed there again.

Super friendly people and great location. This facility is not maintained properly. If it wasn’t for its ideal location I would hesitate to stay again. Access to a functional laundry room is a must while traveling.

The campground is beautiful but lack of hot water in the restrooms close to our campsite making it hard for my handicapped dad to get to a shower and the store hours make it impossible to get anything if you are out sightseeing during the day and have to be back before the store closes at 6pm and then doesn't open til after 9 am. Ridiculous

Not very impressed by this camp site. No water or electric and site had no grass or area to pitch a tent other than an area behind on what looked like a heavily used path. Only gravel and dirt. The shower was just a hose coming out of a roof with no hot water. Overall not worth the cost, might as well have stayed in a Walmart parking lot. Campground is in a beautiful area though.

Th campground has nice sites for tents. Lots of space and amenities. Actual redwoods on the grounds. The campground needs some care. Bathrooms need updating. Office closes at 5. No hot water in ne bather and laundry room closed. Check-in was quick but short and curt.

Dirty, poor facilities. Showers were broken, sink clogged, soap didn't work, trash overflowing. People arrived at 1AM and set up with their headlights on, cursing at their dogs and kids. Hope to never stay in a KOA again.

Hit water didn’t work in the bathhouse, trash was everywhere and restrooms were not cleaned frequently enough. We have stayed here many times in the past, but this place is pretty run down and needs more sanitation! We are regular KOA members and have stayed in many.

We lived the spot we got in the back because it was big. The bathrooms were very dirty the whole time we were there. They were also out if toilet paper. We asked if they could be cleaned and never were. There was a drunk man yelling very loud for an hour every night. We asked the staff to take care of the problem but he was still cussing and yelling. We did not get much sleep.

Very disappointed at the cleanliness and upkeep of this facility. The bathrooms in the back had no toilet paper and no working hot water. The bathrooms in the front were in need of cleaning also. The campground looked rundown. However, the staff was very friendly and the showers were clean. The location was perfect for a vacation through the redwoods.

On a month long road trip we chose the Crescent City redwoods because of its laundry facilities. When we got here their washers were broken, but no one had informed us, there was just a sign on the door. The bathroom nearest our site had no hot water and neither appeared to be getting fixed in the 2 days we were there. The bathrooms were also quite dirty and didn’t seem to get cleaned in the 48h

Space 107 is NOT a tent space. Maybe a camper van, but there is no space for a 4 person tent. It's all slopped, roots, or stumps. Stop selling this as a tent spot. The phone numbers are useless if no one is in the office.

The lady at the front desk was nice when she was there, but she informed us the restrooms by us had no hot water! She also said the bikes were unavailable because of low staff, which also affected cleaning services. Oh, sign warning of recent bike thefts at night, sorry but good luck. More than half of the redwoods were cut down and it looked like a cemetery for trees! Disappointed:(

Love the location but the one of showers bathrooms didn’t work and there were multiple men’s toilets clogged with feces. The men’s bathroom that had the showers didn’t work smelled heavy urine like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Other than that it was great. Nestled in Redwoods, goats to see, kids play area, and good front desk service.

We were in a perfect spot. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Location is important to me. However, The washers didn't work and the showers didn't work for the tent camping part of the park.

Where are accommodating, nice and quiet. The tent sites were a good size. Plenty of room to stay away from other campers. Everybody was very helpful.

Luckily, only one night and cheap. We showed up a few minutes after 5 and the office was already closed. Hot water at back bathroom by the tent area not working. Front bathroom had codes to get in door - no handles or locks on shower doors, no hooks to hang up a towel or clothes. Bare minimum here. All washing machines not working - thank goodness I didn’t need to do laundry that night!

Our campsite was alright, but the toilets and showers were not regularly cleaned and in conditions I have very experienced on a US campground before. So far we stayed at State Park and National Park campsites where the pit toilets are even. cleaner than at KOA Crescent City. The Management was not helpful and Office hours were only from 9 to 4. Loved the location and the camp sites themselves. The bathrooms were HORRIBLE, got there for the 1pm check in time and the back backrooms had no toilet paper until the afternoon the next day, and were very dirty (I'm not talking about the floors, I know those get dirty from everyone coming in). Need more product in the shop

The campground is in a nice grove of trees. I stayed in a spot in a meadow, which was great for stargazing. I rated the KOA rather low because the bathrooms were very dirty. The two bathrooms were not enough to support the amount of foot traffic that visited. The bathrooms looked as if they had not been sanitized in a long time. The garbage’s were overflowing. That was disappointing.

The lady at the desk when we showed up was EXTREMELY RUDE. Her customer service was terrible. The lady the next day was much better. There was a person that walked into our campsite ands opened our car door at 1 am. Weird!! Other then that beautiful spot

This KOA has some absolutely beautiful tent sites. However, I was highly disappointed in mine. It definitely seemed like an after thought in comparison to all others. It wasn't in the beautiful forest like the rest... just in very bumpy grass hard to put a tent on. The picnic table had a huge hole burned into it, and it was so rickety and unstable it couldn't be used. No soap in restrooms.

Worst KOA I have ever experienced. No toilet paper in 2 of 3 stalls in ladies room. No emergency number to contact anyone. Big hole in dog park fence! Offfice closes earlier than any other KOA I’ve ever been to. (6pm) Firewood had a processed piece of painted wood that looked like it came from an old fence which is not safe to burn. Maintenance of property was partial but not complete.

I have stayed at quite a few KOA’s before but I have never felt so unwelcome as I did at this one, the lady checking us in was very unfriendly and you could definitely tell that she did not want to be there, our campsite was nice and big but there was either homeless people or something behind us and they were screaming and fighting and wondering through our site, my son and I felt unsafe

Loved our campsite. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. The 2nd bathroom didn't have soap; ut also had luke warm showers. The main bathroom was amazing through with hot showers and a heater.
