We stayed at this KOA for two nights with our 34-foot travel trailer. While the RV pull-through sites were a decent size, the rest of our experience was disappointing. The front desk staff member was unwelcoming and offered little assistance. The laundry facility was unusable due to broken machines, and the small on-site store was poorly stocked. The campground felt outdated and in need of TLC.

We stayed at this KOA about 7 years ago and had a bad experience, but I figured we would try again- surely they were just having an off few days when we were there before. Not the case. Unfortunately, this is the worst KOA experience we have ever had- and we KOA frequently! It’s dirty, smelly, out of order. Plus no gravel in sites so just mud every morning. Pet area overflowing poop.

It is always a nice stay. We have, however, encountered issues a couple years during the 4th of July weekend. One year septic backed up and overflowed onto the ground, another year the bathrooms at the main building were out of order for a couple days. This year, laundry facilities were closed. Like I said, it is a nice stay, but I now know to expect inconveniences during such a busy holiday.

We stayed one night here. I knew there was an owner/management transition, it is need of a little love. It is a beautiful area. Staff helped us find our space, thank you. Restrooms were clean, people are messy!

It would’ve been nice to know ahead of time that the laundry room was out of order. We have stayed at a lot of KOAs and this was the most run down and dirty. Not having working locks on the bathroom was very uncomfortable for my family (especially my kids) It was also hard to get ahold of people. Overall staff were respectful and kind, the spots were good, lots of type to choose from.

The Girl was disrespectful, Asked for another Night and she said she had to move me she needed that site for a bigger unit.i looked in the morning and it was a van and my unit is truck and trailer. the laundry didn’t work, the garbage was overflowing everywhere, the sites were unkept and big rocks to try to sit a chair or walk on. Bathrooms were old and dirty. Worst place of our 3 week journey

Great place for tent campers or small travel trailers. Not so great for big rigs. Electrical service is 30 amp and it is not consistent. Voltage drops to levels that could damage appliances. Microwave runs slow. Early morning water pressure is very low. I understand there is new management. Hopefully some updates will occur.

Cold water in showers. Cold water to wash dishes outside of restrooms. No laundry facilities available. Not much in the camp store. Absolutely beautiful redwoods!!! Campsites are beautiful

Reserved a site 6 months in advance and was still moved around. No hot water and flooding in bathrooms. Store was not stocked. Been staying at this KOA for 9 years and this was the worst experience.

This KOA is honestly an embarrassment to the KOA company. The office is unmanned more often than not, and reeks of.......cat pee when it was open. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy with overflowing trash, nasty/ broken showers, and out of order toilets. The laundry facilities were "out of order" but I watched employees washing linens in them. The grounds were unkempt. Koa needs to fix this one!

We’ve stayed in all over the USA and this was by FAR the worst place we’ve ever been. The pictures on the website are completely inaccurate. The RV spots are in a dry field looking at old beat up sheds and garbage dumpsters. We got the delux patio site and our friends had the site next to us and it’s just simply terrible beyond words. The bathrooms were FILTHY and in horrible disrepair. Women's bathroom had muddy footprints on the counter for days. Only one shower worked. Overflowing trash everywhere. No staff on hand in office for our entire stay and no one answered phone. Site had electric and water on the wrong side so we had to run power and water under our camper. Power pole on site damaged and had exposed wires.

It appeared that the KOA was under new management. Limited store supplies and facility was outdated. Grounds also needed maintenance. Had what we needed for a one night stay.

Arrive 7:30 pm office not staffed ( supposed to be staff till 8)- holiday weekend Left 9 am store 9-8pm posted hours Men’s restroom filthy and stench Pot holes in road along whole stretch of road Charger did not have 20 amps only 15 Shower not work Games broken No staff to clean entire time we were there even though posted koa sign says continually serviced There was no one to alert

Unfortunately they are in the process of either selling or upgrading the camp. Locks don't work in the bathroom. And the wash room was locked up.

I'm giving it a 3 because my site (401) was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Otherwise, part of the campground was dingy and the bathroom was filthy and wasn't cleaned in the four days I was there. It has the potential to be nice, but needs some work.

Facilities are outdated and dirty. On site employees told us that they are in transition with ownership changes. Restrooms were dirty/non-functional. We’ve been on a two-month RV trip in the US and Canada and this was by far the worst campground we’ve stayed in. I do not recommend going there.

The setting was beautiful and our site was great. However, the bathrooms were a little dirty as several of the toilets were clogged and the laundry room was out of order until July 8th (2 weeks after our stay).

This KOA is in a beautiful location but needs a lot of work. We left after seeing the bathroom without staying the night. The office closed at 5pm so we didn’t bother asking for a refund. Don’t stay here until new management gets the place back in order. So sad to see a KOA in this shape.

I can't believe that this RV park has the KOA name on it! The park is great but the upkeep is terrible!! The women's restroom had one functioning shower out of three. Broken shower doors, filthy bathrooms, both men and women! No soap in dispensers, no paper towels and trash cans overflowing! One washer and dryer working in the laundry room! Nothing for sale in the store! A truly atrocious display!

If this was my first KOA experience there wouldn’t have been any more. Office closed at 5. No hot water in bathroom. Bathroom not cleaned on a regular basis. The one time it was cleaned during my three night stay no soap refill. Trash piled up. They need an intervention. The one star is for what Mother Nature provides.

They tried charging us for 3 nights when we only reserved for 1. They told us it was our fault because we made the reservation online and would have to pay for all 3. Our receipt proved we only had reserved 1 night. So, at some point either the front desk or KOA tried adding 2 more nights for the extra money. The spot we park at was so small, with the slide out we had to park in the fire pit.

Absolutely terrible! This place should not even be open which is under “new management”. No inventory in the store snd the absolute worst, all cable REMOVED. Never going back! Worst KOA stay ever.

Unfortunately the facility is in really bad shape. The bathrooms are moldy and there was only 1 working shower in both the men’s and women’s bathrooms. The laundry room only had 1 working dryer and washer. For our first experience with KoA and what it cost to stay there we were extremely disappointed.

The check in girl, who worked the two days were were there was a bit snotty. We went at 11:45 to ask a question and there was a homemade sign that said , “ out to lunch until 1:00”. Then we went at 4:30 and it was closed, even tho website says office closes at 6:00. Guess she makes her own hourThere are 5 washers and 5 dryers, 1 of each work and staff was using them for cabin laundry linen

Our stay was unpleasant to say the least. The restrooms were disgusting. Broken shower doors, no toilet paper in any of the stalls, feces on the toilet seat and floor along with toilet paper soaked all over the floor. The trash was overflowing, one dryer out of 6 worked in the laundry room, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and the pot holes in the driveways were horrible.

Young woman at check-in was very nice and helpful with info. We noticed that almost all shelves in the store were empty and were told it was undergoing new management and there a timing issue with restocking. Bathrooms were not clean and at 10 am there was no toilet paper - yikes. Hopefully there will be improvements with new owners.

Homeless guy in rear restroom. Someone vandalized front restroom. Ripped off stall door. Both restrooms were in severe disrepair. This was the worst KOA we’ve ever stayed at.

The setting of the campground is beautiful. They were under ownership change. The new owner hadn't had time to fix everything that had been neglected by the old owner. It was excessively dusty, huge potholes, dirty bathrooms, dirty laundry that didn't work, cable did not work, furniture on the patios was sun rotted, trees needed trimmed, store empty. Hope it improves.

Trash needs to be taken out more, bathrooms need to be cleaned more, and the washers/dryers need to be fixed one washer and one dryer is not enough for a whole camp ground.

A beautiful setting amongst the Redwoods. Spacious campsites. But the bathrooms were filthy and hot water went out. The shelves of provisions in the office were empty. It looks like they have given up on this place. It is a shame because it is otherwise spectacular.

It was in rough shape. 80% of the laundry units weren't working it just wasn't that clean. It just wasn't that nice. The location was great. The Wi-Fi was down. I understand. New owners are in transition. I can only get better.

Great campground like they used to be, before they started turning into a big parking lot. Individual wooded sites. Good wifi and clean common areas. Very quiet place camp and relax or visit the local cypress trees.

The tent and RV sites offer enough privacy, but they are close together. Although the bathrooms are on a cleaning schedule, they get messy quickly because there are only 2-3 shower stalls and toilet stalls, with 2 bathroom locations in the entire camp. Overall, good experience and outstanding location near the Redwoods.

The staff is absolutely amazing! They have spent countless hours including on their own time helping me find my cat that escaped. The grounds are very well maintained.The setting is beautiful! I will be back
