This campground has a lot going for it but they appear to be understaffed and underfunded. The roads are quite rough with some very large potholes that are quite unpleasant. Some grass was mined during our stay but they would really benefit from a weedeater. The location is good and some of the sites were secluded. The store was empty with bundles of wood being about the only offering.

The facilities were dirty and unkept. Repairs to failing systems were janky at best. One restroom was completely out of commission. The other had extremely poor shower facilities. Hot water was a hit and miss and the shower stalls were haphazardly kept together. The property itself, despite the beautiful forest potential, looked like a disaster zone, with debris and muck puddles everywhere.

The staff was great very friendly and accommodating. I was told the campground has just changed ownership and they were working on things. It does need some attending to, and they were working hard while I was there. I believe in a few months the place will be great. The staff is already great and that to me is the biggest plus. Thank you Andy

We stayed in the c row and spots are very tight. The cable and internet did not work but we were not told when checking in. We went back to office to ask received a discount which we would not have gotten had we not gone to ask. The campground seems to be in disrepair with overgrown shrubs and weeds and needs work. Glad we only stayed one night.

*not by any fault of the campground* but I showered, which the showers are SO clean and have great pressure and hot water, and I accidentally left my clothes on the sink. Went back to get them and one of shirts had been stolen…really upset that people think it's okay to steal. It was a white long sleeve shirt that said trick or treat with the cast of scooby doo. Thrifted it years ago and really upset someone stole it. My other clothes had been left behind. Leaving something behind on accident does not give anyone the right to steal. Can hear the highway depending on your site. Laundry available for a fee but bathrooms and showers very clean.

Great location to setup your base camp when visiting the redwoods. Also one of the rare RV parks with solid internet.
