nice staff and showers… Your road needs attention…too many potholes for RV’s

Road in was terrible for a Class B. Site was full of big tree roots - should be abandoned. Shower facilities very poor. No shop. One of two greeters were unfriendly.

Staff was awesome and helpful. The location is good for lots of access to numerous points of interest in the area. However, the camp ground seems a bit run down, only 1 washer and dryer were operational. No hot water except in the main bathrooms near the office for showers and the restrooms are extremely tired and need TLC. Potholes in the driveway and the camp store was nearly empty. Thanx.

We spent five nights at the KOA so we could tour the area. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The young lady in the store/office was quite friendly and helpful. The campground was quiet even though very full.

Pretty location and easy access. Great tent and cabin sites. Staff was nice. Very little in store. Laundry and bathhouse were not as clean as we've come to expect from KOA and there was only one functioning w/d pair. Plumbing fixtures in women's bathhouse in need of an update. New sites being added. We wish them well as they convert this older KOA to new KOA standards.

We visited the Redwoods and used the KOA as a base camp. We saw Elk wandering by the dog park. The park was very clean and beautiful.

Friendly staff and a great location, but the park is in desperate need of maintenance and care. The dirt road has ruts and potholes and needs leveling and dust abatement. Only one washing machine and one dryer were working (when the front desk sold me a roll of quarters on check-in they should have told me this). This park does not represent what we think of as a quality KOA.

The facilities are very poorly maintained and most of them are out of service. This is unacceptable at the start of the season. The toilets and showers are not clean and are very deteriorated. In summary: the campsite is in a beautiful location but the facilities are very dilapidated. Conclusion: This campsite must be inspected quickly and downgraded.

Great property with lots of redwoods and other large trees, goats, chickens, game room, private hedges between sites, kind people and location all made it a great stay.

Quiet stay. The gal at the front desk gave me several sheets on local things to do, and went out of her way to give me really nice directions to some great Redwood viewing. :-) Definitely a place I would stay at again.

Although we stayed only one night, we were thoroughly impressed by this KOA. The staff were helpful and courteous, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the grounds were impeccably kept. The location is excellent for exploring the Giant Redwoods as well as visiting the ocean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This campground has a lot going for it but they appear to be understaffed and underfunded. The roads are quite rough with some very large potholes that are quite unpleasant. Some grass was mined during our stay but they would really benefit from a weedeater. The location is good and some of the sites were secluded. The store was empty with bundles of wood being about the only offering.

The facilities were dirty and unkept. Repairs to failing systems were janky at best. One restroom was completely out of commission. The other had extremely poor shower facilities. Hot water was a hit and miss and the shower stalls were haphazardly kept together. The property itself, despite the beautiful forest potential, looked like a disaster zone, with debris and muck puddles everywhere.

The staff was great very friendly and accommodating. I was told the campground has just changed ownership and they were working on things. It does need some attending to, and they were working hard while I was there. I believe in a few months the place will be great. The staff is already great and that to me is the biggest plus. We stayed in the c row and spots are very tight. The cable and internet did not work but we were not told when checking in. We went back to office to ask received a discount which we would not have gotten had we not gone to ask. The campground seems to be in disrepair with overgrown shrubs and weeds and needs work. Glad we only stayed one night.

Although a peaceful and nice setting things could have been better prepared for guests. 5 of 8 laundry machines out of order, bathhouse for the tent campers did not have working hot water and not serviced, morning utility interruption in the water supply did not allow for a shower when needed (apparently unannounced to the staff). I thought you should know for the sake of others to come.

Very unfriendly staff...this could be an awesome park with some clean up and less tent spaces and more rv spaces...had to clean our own patio before use...lawn clippings everywhere kind of a mess...lots of weeds and tall grass

Its not a bad koa. My only complaint is due to coastal humidity, mowing lawns and leaving grass clippings lie, leaves a big mess in your rv. They need a bagger! Staff was friendly. Due to dirt roads, dusty roads and grass clippings, comes across as a dirty camping experience. No complaints otherwise

I love this place its located just a bit before entering Crescent City its quiet and well maintained. The staff was kind and efficeint. Showers were clean as were the grounds.

We visited this KOA with great anticipation and yet the only thing it has going for it is the proximity to the redwoods. 75% of the laundry facility was out of order. The cable was not working. The Internet was extremely weak. Grass was not mowed. Bathrooms barely had any toilet paper if at all. Showers were nasty and not fit for a pig. This is the worst KOA ever.! Keep driving!

Our 35 foot 5th wheel has 3 slides. The site we were assigned, A-7 had a tree on the North side that made it very difficult to open the passenger side slide without damaging the tree. Also sites were not level.

Was surprised to find front door locked upon our arrival at 4:30. Only one working washing machine, two working dryers. One working bathroom and shower building. Site was nice though.

Excellent staff customer service. Very nice people working there. Bathrooms seem in need of repairs due to various things I saw...missing shower heads, busted door latches in stalls. Still, I would not hesitate to book another trip. I did hear another camper complaining about weak Wi-Fi. Not an issue for me. Starlink or mobile Hotspot beats any RV park wifi I've ever used.

The campground was run down and un maintained. The bathrooms were filthy and garbage cans (no dumpster) where overflowing. We tried calling prior to our arrival to discuss late check in policy and they never answered the phone during regular business hours. During our stay we never seen any koa employees or anyone from the campground office. Very disappointed with this campground.

I had high hopes for this KOA, but was disappointed with the condition of road in the park. All but one washer and dryer were working. The dryer took forever to dry clothes. The condition of the park was kind of sad. I loved the surroundings of the redwoods and the fields. The park needs some very needed upgrades.

We did not like the facility. It has potholes, not managed properly. The bathrooms are bad and also the WiFi signals are pretty weak.

Let me start by saying,staff at this facility were very accommodating and helpful advisors.The facility however, lacks greatly. Sites are crammed VERY close together, unkempt, not level, and have trees and fire pits in the way of doors and slideouts. A fire would have endangered our camper. Overhanging tree limbs on back loop broke our skylight and scratched camper. We won’t return.

This KOA did not measure up the our experiences with other KOA/s although it was satisfactory. Grounds were not in very good shape and roads were full of pot homes. Rest rooms were clean and nice. Office hours were 9-3, but realize it was still winter schedule here. The check in process was very easy as they had all registered guests check in information available on the outside wall.

The staff was friendly and the campsites have bushes between sites which provides some privacy (why I gave a 2 vs 1). However, the KOA is poorly maintained -- the roads throughout the KOA had HUGE potholes, the cable TV didn't work (said they were changing owners and didn't think previous owner paid the bill), and only 1 washer of 4 worked and none of the dryers.

We were only there for one night but the lady at the registration desk was super accommodating! So much rain had fallen so there were many sites that had huge puddles and she worked with us to find a suitable one for our stay.

This park has just changed management from what I was told at the office. It is convenient to the Redwood parks and the city. However it does require some significant work to bring it up to KOA standards. All in we did enjoy our stay there, the staff were great.

Great campground like they used to be, before they started turning into a big parking lot. Individual wooded sites. Good wifi and clean common areas. Very quiet place camp and relax or visit the local cypress trees.

The tent and RV sites offer enough privacy, but they are close together. Although the bathrooms are on a cleaning schedule, they get messy quickly because there are only 2-3 shower stalls and toilet stalls, with 2 bathroom locations in the entire camp. Overall, good experience and outstanding location near the Redwoods.
