Very nice staying with you. This park is very well maintained and our cabin was so clean. This is our first time trying out a KOA and were pleasantly surprised. We'll be back!

Crescent City/Redwoods KOA is in a good location, close to Redwoods National Park. The campground was nice and the bathrooms were clean. However, we found trash and an article of clothing from the previous campers under the bed of our cabin. I would still recommend it to others with the exception of Cabin 1 because it is right next to the dumpsters, and it did not have a picnic table.

We rented a cabin with bedding. Made reservation back in February. Arrived, checked in. Cabin had no bedding. Told only one washer/dryer and campers had been using all day. They were leaving at 5pm and would not provide a contact person and no timeframe for clean bedding. Just did not care to provide a solution. We had travelled halfway across the country. We cancelled and moved to a hotel.

It met our needs perfectly, wonderful to be able to share our adventure with our furbaby. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in planning our visit.

The campground is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by big trees and very convenient to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Very family friendly-lots of young children when we stayed there.

We got there a little late due to construction and had a 5 hour drive. Got there about an hour after the office closed. The gal that ran the place came over after hours and let us buy firewood and ice. She was so nice and helpful. Definitely will come back.

I am aware they are in transition so understand the facilities not being quite finished but not much for the teens to do with the minimal game room and broken machines eating quarters and game tables were also broken perhaps could see if anyone in the area would donate lightly used game tables to replace the ones in the game room. Other than that really liked the spot. Larger signage.

Heaters didn't work in our cabin (was told the previous tenant couldnt get them to shut off, so KOA just turned off breaker instead of getting fixed). No heat options given. Stove and hot water wasn't working due to no propane. No bikes as advertised. Gift shop and rec room is empty. Not the same KOA with family stuff to do.

5 stars for the camping cabin. Beds were comfortable! We were disappointed in the lack of rules at the koa. Within minutes of our arrival our little dog was almost attacked by a pit bull. The owner had to hold it back with both hands and was being pulled by their dog as it lurched toward us. I reported this to office but she said she was unaware of any restrictions on pets.

The store was SO empty they had nothing, they said that they were remodeling but it didn't look like it and when I was there a month ago it was still the same.

Beautiful location and very clean cabin, but the bathrooms, playground, dog park, rec room, and store were in very poor condition and dirty most of the time.

Our stay was great! Cabin was very comfortable. We look forward to seeing what the new staff and owners do. We used to visit this koa quite often and our kids loved it.

Unit wasn't clean when we arrived. Wasn't sweeped. Dust everywhere and hair from previous people. Ladies bathrooms lacked the toilet seat cover and paper towels were not supplied the first day. There were no personal at the office to notify about issues. However the place is very convenient and nice

Needs hooks in changing area of shower Strong cleaning smell. Asked for a cabin change & they said there were none available. However, we know that there were 2 cabins which were the same type as ours that were not occupied. They did wipe everything down again & did give us a fan. Opened windows ate outside. Went to town for the evening came back & it was still strong smelling. Amazing views!

This KOA was under new management. The store didn’t have much (rightly so due to the transition phase). The bathrooms are dated but the staff kept them as clean as they could. We loved our cabin amongst the trees. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this place. We stayed in a deluxe cabin in 2023 & loved our time.

Such a great location! We stayed in a large cabin with a small kitchen and bathroom. Loved the cabin! We had to bring sheets and blankets and scrounge up some pillows and towels but other than that it is well stocked. We visited Kellog Beach, went on all the trails in Jedediah State Park, swam in Smith River and had a seriously magical time. There was a rooster that woke us up every morning.

This was a nice easy place to stay while we explored nearby redwoods. Late arrival checkin was easy. Everything was clean. We liked the rec room and game room and field with playground (volleyball net was in bad shape. but we didn't have much time to use it). The office didn't open at 9am, so we couldn't ask questions when we had them. We wanted to try banana bikes but never saw the rentals open.

Nice peeople! Kabin in the Redwoods was very aesthetic. Firepit worked well. Mattresses were not super comfortable. Thank you for not putting a time limit on the showers. Whole bathroom needs upgrade with working hardware including door locks and hooks for clothes/ towels. Loved the provided cheat sheets for attractions in the area!

It was a really disappointing stay and not up to what I'm used to from the other KOAs I've stayed at. It did not seem friendly or welcoming. The store was empty. Half the showers in the park were not functional. Sinks didn't work. It was not clean and seemed like only the basic maintenance was done. Internet only functioned at the main office. I rarely saw workers. I wouldn't stay again.

I've stayed in several koa's in the past and although I loved the atmosphere the restrooms were horrible. Management could really use some help here. And fix the showers!!!

I had stayed here in 2010. It was very unique than as you could actually stay in a site with large Redwoods all around. It was well maintained back then and lots of stuff for kids to do. It seems very run down now and all the large trees in the back, that was what made it so great, have been cut down. Stuff is broken down. The 2nd restroom - no hot water. Store hours only 11 to 4. Setting is beautiful! Trash overflowing dumpsters, one night there were people with headlamps digging through it for cans. Women only had 2 showers for the entire KOA. Laundry room had an OUT OF ORDER sign but was being used by employees when questioned they opened it to campers but did not seem happy about it. Not a Holiday KOA not even good enough to be a Journey, Needs Lots of improvements.

Beautiful area, and I understand the new owners took over a place not taken well care of, but still need much more work!!! KOA corporate help????? Needs alot of tlc and supplies. No sheets or blankets available nothing in the store! More disappointed in KOA than the new owners!

Beautiful location for a campground and that’s about it. This is the worst koa I’ve ever stayed at. Please believe other reviewers before staying. Overflowing trash for days, homeless dumpster diving, unclean bathroom facilities, mattress in cabin that was not fluid/bed bug protected, the list goes on. Worst of all was the unfriendly attitude of all the staff.

This park need a lot of work done. The things you expect KOA to have was lacking. The laundry for one only one working machine. Out of the 6 women’s showers only 2 were working. The park was nice but lacked what you would expect from a KOA

We had an absolute wonderful time. Camp site was so beautiful. Our children made many friends and explored until the sun went down. Our only complaint is that the showers were not operational in our nearest facility. Other than that we had an absolute wonderful time at your koa!

Campground was pretty dirty. Half the showers didn't work. No events or activities at all for family to do in the evenings. The store was completly empty. It looked like this place was on its last leg. I love this campground and have come for years. I am scared for the future of this place. This place was not a KOA campground, but just a basic, no amenities, grimy, campground.

Our first time at a KOA and did not get a great first impression. This was recommended to us and perhaps it was the change of ownership (?). The setting was great but the feel of the place and cleanliness, didn't come up to par.

I am giving this review 4 stars because I love the location. But the plumbing situation and lack of showers and adequately flushing toilets and maintained bathrooms was super disappointing for me. I know there was a change in ownership but having two women's showers available for the whole campground is absurd. Also - people with disabilities need a shower chair so they can sit and shower.

One night stop on our way up the coast. Beautiful spot, hot showers, and comfortable cabin beds. The banana slugs were an exciting plus for the kids! Thank you!

Felt like things were in state of disrepair, looks like there was a place for smoke detectors in cabin but they were gone, need a heat source in cabins, it gets chilly near coast, , store closed at 5 ,so no access to fire wood or supplies although store looked pretty empty inside. Setting is nice though

Overall, the campground is run down and lacks general maintenance. I was looking forward to washing some clothing, but the whole laundry room was out of order. For the deluxe cabins, a reminder to buy the linen option should be sent out closer to the trip. I booked in Dec and had no memory of the additional cost so we had to run & buy that eve, as did our neighbors. Not typical KOA experience!

This campsite didn't have a reliable stock of firewood, so we had to purchase from nearby resellers. Showers and laundry were out of commission. Restrooms were not kept clean. Playground equipment was in need of repair.

Camp site 112 was amazing 👏🏾 for my first time here. Great location and not far from pebble beach. Amenities were nice . Bathrooms are open to nature if you dont minds Charlotte's web your in a forest remember. Shower water was nice and hot just needed to find the sweet spot. Staff was great 👌🏾. I drove 4 days to get here from Denver CO. Thank you for the memories I'll definitely be back
