The restrooms were disgusting 90% of the time, but the cabins were nice and the campground was clean.

They had no sheets or towels for cabin we rented said we needed 24 hours notice to get sheets and towels it doesn’t say anything on the website about that just extra money for sheets. The shower head was off laying on the window sill. The dumpsters were over full. Stall was very friendly or helpful

We had the most magical stay at the KOA. The staff was really friendly and shared some information about the local sites. The kids loved the bunk beds, the park and petting zoo and we loved the kitchen and private bedroom in the big cabin. The grounds are beautiful and location is convenient to get to the Jedidiah National Forest, the beach and the Walmart. Couldn't ask for more!

The rudest koa I’ve ever been to. I was harassed about stealing a heater that wasn’t even in the cabin to start with causing me to drive the rest of the way into crescent city to buy a heater. Whoever was on the phone at the front desk was beyond rude and needs a serious re-evaluation on customer service.

We arrived to stay in a cabin w/o a bathroom. We got there at about 4:30 pm and the office closed at 5:00 pm. We were assigned cabin 15. After being assigned 15 and where it was located we learned that the closer restroom was out of order and that we had to walk from our cabin to the restroom by the office. I later noticed they had an unoccupied closer cabin that we could have been put in.

My kids had a great time! The campsite was very spacious and the cabins were great. The staff at the store was great as well. 10 out of 10 would come here again.

This was our second time staying here & couldn't be more pleased! Rooms are clean, tidy, and thoughtfully stocked with basic necessities (kitchen towels, utensils, tp). Both times have been off-season so the campground is rather quiet & peaceful. We had a neighbor but never saw or heard them. Location is very convenient for day hikes around the surrounding area. Checking in & out is breez

You switched the glass plates and utensil's with hard plastic ones. I couldn't eat my dinner with your fork so I one to the dollar store and bought my own forks. I also went and bought sponges because the sponges that were under the sink were filthy. I have stayed at this KOA for over 20 years and never had this trouble before. Changing ownership has caused the KOA to go down hill...

The campground is in a beautiful redwoods setting and we liked that very much. The cabin we stayed in wasn’t so good the smoke alarm was going off every time we turned on the small electric heater. The temps at night got down to the low 40s and we needed the heater but couldn’t use it because it set off the alarm. We didn’t get any sleep that night and had a long drive the next day

We rented a cabin and the shower curtain was not water proof so when you took a shower water just ran onto the floor where you can see it had caused black mold along the trim, we I went to the office to let them know the staff seemed more interested in getting back to playing on her phone and the gift shop had nothing in stock like last year and since this location sold it continues to decline.

My family stayed in a cabin for two nights. It’s a lovely area, and the cabin was great. The koa offerings are a lot more limited than others we have been to. More of a bare bones experience. The main facilities just seemed sort of…tired.

Beautiful setting! The cabin was clean and well maintained. It met our needs perfectly. The park was peaceful and quiet which was much appreciated. We so enjoyed visiting with the chickens and goats:)

Read the reviews before we came and was skeptical. No reason to be. Check in was smooth. Cabin was clean. However, I think it was an inflatable mattress for the bed. The entire campground was clean and inviting. Could use better signage on the road.

Overall it was a nice stay and I would stay again! The cabin was overall nice and what I expected having stayed in KOA cabins before. My BF said the cabin kinda had a porta potty smell. My biggest issue was the bathrooms. They were not kept clean very well. I understand it is an older showerhall but these could be cleaner. The carpet mats were the same ones from the start of our stay to the end.

Disappointed in this KOA. Our cabin smelled absolutely awful the entire stay even with the windows opened. Showers are dirty and need some TLC, along with the toilets. Bathrooms need serious work. Store was also empty.

The location is great- super close to the redwoods. The rec room and playground are sad, not kept up and outdated. The cabin we stayed in had multiple small issues like a finicky toilet handle, dirty curtains, and weird smell in the main bedroom.

Furnace was not working, heater in the cabin had a broken cord and the outlet was not working. The person in the office said she would find a heater but did not. Bought one at walmart.

Very nice staying with you. This park is very well maintained and our cabin was so clean. This is our first time trying out a KOA and were pleasantly surprised. We'll be back!

Crescent City/Redwoods KOA is in a good location, close to Redwoods National Park. The campground was nice and the bathrooms were clean. However, we found trash and an article of clothing from the previous campers under the bed of our cabin. I would still recommend it to others with the exception of Cabin 1 because it is right next to the dumpsters, and it did not have a picnic table.

We rented a cabin with bedding. Made reservation back in February. Arrived, checked in. Cabin had no bedding. Told only one washer/dryer and campers had been using all day. They were leaving at 5pm and would not provide a contact person and no timeframe for clean bedding. Just did not care to provide a solution. We had travelled halfway across the country. We cancelled and moved to a hotel.

The campground is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by big trees and very convenient to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Very family friendly-lots of young children when we stayed there.

We got there a little late due to construction and had a 5 hour drive. Got there about an hour after the office closed. The gal that ran the place came over after hours and let us buy firewood and ice. She was so nice and helpful. Definitely will come back.

I am aware they are in transition so understand the facilities not being quite finished but not much for the teens to do with the minimal game room and broken machines eating quarters and game tables were also broken perhaps could see if anyone in the area would donate lightly used game tables to replace the ones in the game room. Other than that really liked the spot. Larger signage.

Heaters didn't work in our cabin (was told the previous tenant couldnt get them to shut off, so KOA just turned off breaker instead of getting fixed). No heat options given. Stove and hot water wasn't working due to no propane. No bikes as advertised. Gift shop and rec room is empty. Not the same KOA with family stuff to do.

5 stars for the camping cabin. Beds were comfortable! We were disappointed in the lack of rules at the koa. Within minutes of our arrival our little dog was almost attacked by a pit bull. The owner had to hold it back with both hands and was being pulled by their dog as it lurched toward us. I reported this to office but she said she was unaware of any restrictions on pets.

Great campground like they used to be, before they started turning into a big parking lot. Individual wooded sites. Good wifi and clean common areas. Very quiet place camp and relax or visit the local cypress trees.

The tent and RV sites offer enough privacy, but they are close together. Although the bathrooms are on a cleaning schedule, they get messy quickly because there are only 2-3 shower stalls and toilet stalls, with 2 bathroom locations in the entire camp. Overall, good experience and outstanding location near the Redwoods.

The staff is absolutely amazing! They have spent countless hours including on their own time helping me find my cat that escaped. The grounds are very well maintained.The setting is beautiful! I will be back
