Stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was nice and a good size could easily sleep 6. Good amount of space to park. Bathroom facility was clean and office store had a pretty good selection of tourist items and necessities.

The staff is pleasant, clearly working hard to keep it going. The location is excellent for a Redwoods trip. Our spot was smallish, but clean, quiet and checked all our boxes. That said, the forest area locations look like a scene from LOTR, Mordor! Our site was not in that area, and I am very glad. Rather tragic really. KOA someone needs to get in there and help spruce it up before it's too lat

This was our second year in a row visiting the campground, last years stay was amazing being in the heart of the redwoods. This year we were so disappointed the owners of the campground completely ruined the experience by logging the majority of the trees. The campgrounds were destroyed most large trees cut down and not removed, for “improvement” so we were told. Truly devastating what was don

Crescent City KOA really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great…Staff was very friendly. We have stayed there many times in the past 25 years and will continue to stay there. A lot of trees have been cut down,but the beauty of the redwoods were still breathtaking.

Everything was fantastic, beautiful scenery, and kind hosts. The ladies restroom was out of paper towels for 2 days as well as one of the soap dispensers; otherwise great trip.

Stunned that this site is rated a Holiday. It was unkempt and the store closed early every day. The hours posted were 8am-9pm. At 5:00 the first day it was closed. At 4:30 the next day it was closed. At 8:40am on checkout the store was still closed. We could not get ice and necessities there. There was someone at the desk each time we tried the doors but she would not open the office.

They recently removed a good portion of the redwoods from the park so the general ambience was diminished. The cable was 4 grainy channels that were unwatchable. The restrooms were dated and one shower was closed. The quality was below KOA standards. Wifi was only available close to the office .

The map is a bit confusing but once we found our site it was great. Beautiful area. Very cool to sleep in a redwood forest.

For being a KOA Holiday, it lacked onsite amenities I have seen at other HOA Holidays. More kid activities would be nice, maybe a pool. There were not very many sites with full hooks up, which is kind of a bummer for a longer stay. The wifi was okay, can't stream anything. My Starlink was blocked by trees. Overall it is clean, but I would probably not stay at this one again.

Our drive through site 404 experienced a lot of confused foot traffic walking through our site, including one family who insisted there wasn’t any other way to get to the their campsite other than trample over our power cord. Might want to make cones available to this site.

I was disappointed with this campground. I have stayed in many KOA’s, this one should not be called a “holiday”, no pool, hot tub, just a run down play ground.The bathrooms were outdated, one had no shower head at all, just a pipe out of the ceiling. The other one only 2 out of the 3 were in service. The only good thing was the location, near the Red Wood forest.

The dog park needs to be mowed cuz you can’t find the dog poop to clean up and there was a lot of it in there

Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Beautiful setting with all of the trees. Loved the privacy hedges between sites. 10 minutes from the beach! Loved it!

The staff was great. When we had a flat tire that Cruise America couldn’t be bothered to call us back, the campground helped us blow the tire and direst us to a tire center close by.

We never made it but we're charged for our full stay, way to charge for absolutely nothing and that last credit card charge was unauthorized

This place was just ok. It had everything we needed, but could have used ALOT of upgrading and TLC. My granddaughter’s bike was locked up with a cable and stolen overnight. It was found in the bushes of the Kia two days later.

Very accommodating folks. They moved us when the site wouldn’t work for us and gave us a much better site for motorcycles.

I would not stay here!! Our mountain bikes were stolen off of our bike rack during our stay. This KOA knows this is a problem and doesn’t care about the campers coming in and out. The actual grounds were ok and pretty yes. However, it’s very upsetting to come out and see our stuff stolen. We were refunded our money for the stay but they also know this is a big problem in the area. Sad

We had a beautiful camping spot! The campground was clean and quiet. Wish we stayed longer, we were just passing through. We'd definitely stay again but stay longer!

Everything about this stay was above and beyond our expectations . From the reservation changes we made last minute, up to the check out . Professional and very accommodating . The entire trip was a little bit of magic . We had a Great stay and great time . Thank You again !

The only reason I dropped one star was that both sewers were full and someones underwear was left on site. Was this site checked or cleaned before a new person or my arrival?

My favorite campground no longer. Cutting down redwood trees from my favorite area. Maybe will grow into fav again. Electrical out. No electricity that I paid for, and did nothing about it. Showers and restrooms okay.

Clean facilities, nice spacing between sites. Adorable goats, beautiful redwood trees in the sites. My only complaint was kids were playing all over the stumps in our site and running through our site most of the evening

This has always been a favorite campground for our family, location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay this weekend, it was quiet, relaxing and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Honestly don't know what people are complaining about. My family loved it. We brought our 3 year old and a small dog and stayed in one of the basic cabins with no bathroom. It was quaint and comfortable and very warm with the heater. We brought our valuables into the cabin and took everything off our roof rack and locked it in the car. No theft, no one bothered us, no loud parties, very quiet and relaxing. Other families with small children. Short office hours but everything was ready for us for our arrival after hours. Bathrooms were clean and operational with hot water. Grounds were beautiful and we loved the goats.

Good overnight cabin stay as our group of 4 motorcycled through the area (Apr. 2024). Appreciated the website reservation process as well as the camp staff preps for our after-hours check-in. Clean facilities & grounds. Other than the electric heater not working, it was great. Yep, we'd stay there again.
