Friendly staff, quiet site except for the wood chipper nearby at 7am! A bit of a confusing setup but really pretty and fairly private! Kids enjoyed the goats, playground, and game room! Also has a great gift/necessity shop but the hours are disappointing!

we were given a tiny site c4 next to a a cabin. very little space. and there were many other sites open. should have asked for partial hook up. staff should ask if they prefer a nicer site that is W/E only. those sites were better. for the $ i would not recommend it.

It was a war zone. Dusty road, loud logging noise by cabin, workers going in and out of shed until 9 pm for no reason except riding in a golf cart. Conditions should have been discussed in January when reservation was made. We feel ripped off.

We checked in after office hours. Our cabin was not included in the after hours list. So we had to call to track down which unit was ours. The campground was nice. But a lot of amenities not working (1 men’s shower, 1 women’s shower , 1 toilet, 2 machines in laundry room). Women’s bathroom out of paper products most of our stay. We were disappointed by the extent to which their formerly lushly forested sites have been cleared. It is still an adequate KOA campground, but it’s no longer uniquely beautiful and there is less privacy now.

I have stayed at other koa cabins and this was literally unacceptable. A 2 bedroom cabin with wooden beds with a small foam mattress is definitely not what I was expecting. Worse than that, the linens that were provided was a sleeping bag. I walked in and turned right back around. Went into the town and got a motel. Had to pay for one night even though we didn't stay there. Very disappointed

Our RV sites were good. The playground was nice but it needs some TLC and a garbage can placed nearby. Tree work was going on (understandably necessary)and it stopped at 5. The work in the camp garage could have stopped at 5 as well. The laundry was reasonably priced. The store was adequately stocked. They had a great information wall of stuff to do in the store.

restrooms were very dirty when we arrived on a sunday afternoon. they were cleaned well mid-morning the next day. Was very unhappy to see all the redwood trees that had recently been cut down

We had a wonderful time! The office lady was incredibly nice! Everything was clean! We stayed in cabin 11 and walked to the bathroom. The path to the bathroom was marked with signs which made it very easy to find! We would love to stay here again in the future!

It was an amazing stay, the kids loved the woods, the arcade and just having fun, the dog park kept dog happy and everything including restrooms and laundry room were clean and convenient, Thank you for wonderful memories.

My $5,000 mtn bike was stolen from this Crescent City KOA campground. We were staying in a cabin and it was cable locked to the cabin railing. The thief left his old bike, backpack and a bolt cutter. This KOA has had thefts in the past but failed to post any warnings about bikes being stolen until after I reported the theft. Put bikes inside your cabin or chance losing them or any other valuables.

We were late coming in. We had a Kabin that smelt like pee. The mattress on the bunk beds we're flipped up to air out. I sprayed all the mattresses with disinfectant. Because We were late we got a dirty kabin. There were other vacant kabins. Not clean, opens late. Didn't talked to anyone.

Tent site 114 does not have a flat/clear enough area for a tent. I carcamped & had to maneuver my truck to get somewhat level. Also construction going on which wasn’t mentioned in booking by phone or check in.

Great location, clean camp/facilities! We had no noise issues, so sleep was uninterrupted. While there was a bathroom stall, shower stall, and washer/dryers out of order, we weren't waiting in line to use any of them. The kids enjoyed the Game and Rec Rooms a lot, as well as the playground. We can't wait to come again!

Needs some work. Our site was dirty. Nobody took the time to sweep the patio area, which we paid a premium for. We were informed by kids that bikes were stolen and to be careful. I didn’t feel safe at that point. We immediately took the bikes out of our truck bed and put them in by our trailer. Also, the sewer connection looked full, so we didn’t use the sewer connection. Kind of disappointed.

The cabin was clean and the stay was peaceful. All the employees were friendly and helpful! Only suggestion would be to not charge for ping pong ball use. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Unfortunately this KOA has a sewer problem. Sewage was coming out of the sewer at our site and others we walked through. We couldn’t sit outside due to the smell. We called the after hours number and never received a call back.

It was so nice and clean. The people were friendly and the kids had a blast making friends and riding there bicycles. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Was my 70th Birthday. We had a camp Spot, with water & electric. My son & Family got a cabin right next to our site. It was very convenient. People at registration Was very helpful . Park & facilities was very clean. Easy to locate on Hwy 101. Thanks for nice 4 days����

We stayed at this KOA several years back and the experience was nearly magical. Camping in the huge trees felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Now most of the trees have been cut down. Add to that, there is a severe lack of staff meaning that the bathrooms were always disgusting and you could never talk to anyone because there was no office hours. We will never be back.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Very accommodating to my needs. Beautiful setting up against and among the redwoods. Other campers were all respectful of space and quite times. I love KOA Crescent City. Clean, safe and family oriented, though I was by myself with my two dogs and it was great. I have been here before and will be back.

On arrival I signed into the office and received our map to our spot, arrived at our spot and went to setup and when hooking up my electric I wasn't aware that the koa staff was blowing out the sewer line with a high pressure system which blew the raw sewage up into my face. So I spend the next few days of my vacation with my eyes swelled and pink eye for the next week long. Avoid this campground

Stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was nice and a good size could easily sleep 6. Good amount of space to park. Bathroom facility was clean and office store had a pretty good selection of tourist items and necessities.

Honestly don't know what people are complaining about. My family loved it. We brought our 3 year old and a small dog and stayed in one of the basic cabins with no bathroom. It was quaint and comfortable and very warm with the heater. We brought our valuables into the cabin and took everything off our roof rack and locked it in the car. No theft, no one bothered us, no loud parties, very quiet and relaxing. Other families with small children. Short office hours but everything was ready for us for our arrival after hours. Bathrooms were clean and operational with hot water. Grounds were beautiful and we loved the goats.

Good overnight cabin stay as our group of 4 motorcycled through the area (Apr. 2024). Appreciated the website reservation process as well as the camp staff preps for our after-hours check-in. Clean facilities & grounds. Other than the electric heater not working, it was great. Yep, we'd stay there again.
