Very friendly and helpful staff at this campsite, highly recommended is the tour through the redwoods which is described in great detail in a sheet which is posted in the office. The campsites are nice and have everything you need, sanitary facilities are clean

We really enjoyed our stay at the Redwoods KOA. The cabin was beautiful & clean. Everyone was very nice & helpful. We will definitely be back!

You really need to consider having the main roads inside the camp asphalted. It is just too dusty there, not enough gravel to hold the dirt down. The person next to me had one of his childrens bicycle stolen even though he had a thick steel cable on it wrapped around his camper wheel. He and I both got up multiple times to keep an eye on the bikes and they still were able to steal it.

Campground staff (outside service and maintenance) was very helpful and pleasant. Facilities, like bathrooms and showers, could use and upgrade. Parents should be reminded to pay attention to their children. Noisy kids running through campsites other than their own make for a very unpleasant, not to mention unsafe experience.

The beauty of this campground has been destroyed by the destruction of the redwoods for which the camp is named. They have been hacked down and either stacked throughout the campground or left lying where they fell. It's mind-boggling and depressing. Too bad, because it must have been a stunning place before this was done. Staff is friendly but that doesn't make up for this mess.

There was no noise regulation after 10PM- the family next to us was very loud all the way up to midnight. The sprinkler, which was also next to our site, was on throughout the day AND night, into the next morning. It’s not a quiet sprinkler. The shower is just a big hose above your head and would often lose warm water. We expected more from a KOA. At least the bathrooms were clean.

This is a hidden gem of a Campground, the cleanliness and surroundings make it such a relaxing environment! Owners/Staff are very helpful and make efforts above and beyond expectations! So Glad we discovered this Campground through the KOA App. Already planning our return trip!

It’s a nice campground in the redwoods - has been a stop now for three generations. Tent, cabin and Rv stays. The grand kids made friends with the operators son and had a great time. He was the perfect camp host and joined the fam making popcorn over a fire.

Multiple bathroom stalls and showers out of order. Same with washers/dryers. Those that worked were taken up entirely by staff. Bathrooms were not attended to.

Place needs some work. My mother was placed next to an old ran down trailer. The owner recently cut down a lot of redwoods. It’s really lost a lot of charm with the missing trees. Might look for a different campground next time. There was toilet paper on the ground around my sewer connection from the previous guest.

Great campground w/ good amenities. Clean bathrooms too. Only issue was that at 5:30 am, homeless people (1 woman, 2 men) were taking showers in the bathhouse in the back of the campground. The woman was in the shower for over 45 min! Didn't think there would be any hot water left. Luckily there was. I would recommend coded locks like they have on the front bathhouse or a gate at the entrance.

The Majority of the old growth redwood trees have recently been cut down. It ruined the place it feels like camping in a logging zone mostly exposed and bulldozed, I was incredibly disappointed and sad to see how negatively it has changed and lost its forest feel.

This KOA has a very limited number of RV sites with hookups. Our back-in site had the water and electricity on the wrong side. We ended up heading in. The trailer next to us (and a few others in the park) looked like they’ve been there for a very long time and junk was piled up all around the site. The restrooms/ shower houses are in serious need of updating. The cabins looked nice.

Nice sites, the kids loved the goats and chicken. Had to be very careful with our bikes as theft is a problem. Our bikes were okay, but the neighboring rv had their good bike stolen. Despite signs that only registered guests can use the facilities, a member of our group saw three homeless people who who came in so the woman could shower just before sunrise.

One of the main reasons we stay here is because the the walk through the redwoods. We were very disappointed to see the trails blocked off and dozens of trees cut down. I sure hope there is a good reason for this.

Great location to the redwoods. We really liked the privacy of the tall trees at our site. The lighthouse was fantastic!

The restrooms were wide open and not very clean. The layout of the campground itself is confusing, and I didn’t see any employees around to help. We did like being in the redwoods, but that’s about it.

When I went to check in, there were signs posted stating that I need to lock everything up because people come into the campground at night and steal things. I almost did not check in. They also stated that they are not responsible for any losses. They don't have security or security cameras. I will not stay here again and would not recommend staying here. Welcome to California.

Was a return trip for us because we like the location. My locked bike was stolen the second night camping. Then noticed a sign for people to be aware of rampant bike theft in the area and the campground is not responsible for loss. Seems like more could be done security wise to stem this. As a result of my loss it was difficult to feel safe/secure during the remainder of our.stay.

The stay was top notch, Julie was very accommodating when we made the decision to stay another two nights and requested another spot among the trees! Julie also was very informative about the area and the printouts for the three tours is amazing! We found your KOA park to be the best of our trip over 3000 miles from start to finish and many KOA parks in between. Thank you.

The park is beautiful with all the trees! The manager was very accommodating to allow us to change our site upon arrival. Very quiet!

We stayed in a small cabin and could not have been happier! WE can't wait to return. Location was absolutely perfect. We visited the Tress of Mystery in the afternoon before our night at the campground. Host was very pleasant and efficient. Cabin was very clean and appreciated the heater/fan in the cabin. Bathrooms and laundry were neat and tidy. We loved every minute of our stay

Restrooms need changing tables. Fans in shower areas. Camp sites are extremely close together. Desk staff was helpful and kind! Cleanliness was inconsistent in the back bathrooms.

This review is tough to write because there were so many amazing things about this KOA. The staff was so friendly, the market was cute, the game room is a hit with toddlers and younger kids, the park is decent…but the tent sites were in rough shape. Friendly staff, quiet site except for the wood chipper nearby at 7am! A bit of a confusing setup but really pretty and fairly private! Kids enjoyed the goats, playground, and game room! Also has a great gift/necessity shop but the hours are disappointing!

we were given a tiny site c4 next to a a cabin. very little space. and there were many other sites open. should have asked for partial hook up. staff should ask if they prefer a nicer site that is W/E only. those sites were better. for the $ i would not recommend it.

Good overnight cabin stay as our group of 4 motorcycled through the area (Apr. 2024). Appreciated the website reservation process as well as the camp staff preps for our after-hours check-in. Clean facilities & grounds. Other than the electric heater not working, it was great. Yep, we'd stay there again.

Really great KOA, cabins are in the midst of Redwoods. Clean campground overall. Office hours are not that great, 10-3 only.
