Mgt and staff went above and beyond due to a family members sudden illness. They were a blessing to me!

Crescent City/Redwoods KOA is in a good location, close to Redwoods National Park. The campground was nice and the bathrooms were clean. However, we found trash and an article of clothing from the previous campers under the bed of our cabin. I would still recommend it to others with the exception of Cabin 1 because it is right next to the dumpsters, and it did not have a picnic table.

When we arrived, the office was closed. Why would a campground office close at 5pm? The map with our name on it showing our site was very confusing. Would have been nice to have a human help us instead of driving around 3-4 times looking for our site. It was very frustrating.

We rented a cabin with bedding. Made reservation back in February. Arrived, checked in. Cabin had no bedding. Told only one washer/dryer and campers had been using all day. They were leaving at 5pm and would not provide a contact person and no timeframe for clean bedding. Just did not care to provide a solution. We had travelled halfway across the country. We cancelled and moved to a hotel.

While it is an older KOA you can tell the new owners are working hard to get it fixed up. The frustration is when things like the trash in the dog area is not emptied for three plus days they need to work on their procedures.

We have stayed here many times and really liked it ,we know it’s changed hands a few months ago and things are changing but the men’s bathroom needs more attention other than that great.

It met our needs perfectly, wonderful to be able to share our adventure with our furbaby. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in planning our visit.

I’ve stayed here multiple times without issue and it’s always been lovely. This time I had staff discard my firewood and discard my camp chair on Saturday when checkout was on Sunday. No tent was set up as I was car camping. I had to leave prior to the office opening, so issue couldn’t be addressed. Pretty frustrating to say the least. The campground is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by big trees and very convenient to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Very family friendly-lots of young children when we stayed there.

Front office staff is very friendly. The grounds are beautiful. Our only complaint is all the washers and dryers were out of service accept 1 washer. But, can’t do anything without a dryer. One sink in the women’s bathroom was out of service also out of four. Maintenance needs to be be done.

It seems that the park is or has been sold. Park is run down. They had cable but it didn't work. Only 1 washer and 1 drier worked. Very disappointed in this KOA

We got there a little late due to construction and had a 5 hour drive. Got there about an hour after the office closed. The gal that ran the place came over after hours and let us buy firewood and ice. She was so nice and helpful. Definitely will come back.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. For being there right after Labor Fay weekend, a few areas needed upkeep. The sport court was full of leaves and the large building next to it had spider webs on every corner of the ramp.

Nice campground but campsite had food waste remaining from previous visit. Wasn’t a lot but had to clean up given its bear country. Site was more remote and not close to the office. Not a big deal given camping is meant to be more about connecting with nature but wifi did not work. Office closes early.

Everything was very run down. Most of the showers were out of order. Most of the washers and dryers were out of order. Whitney at the front desk was very rude and just seemed as if she did not want to be there. We went with our sister's family and booked 6 months in advance and they were unable to accommodate us camping next to each other. Very disappointed with our stay.

I am aware they are in transition so understand the facilities not being quite finished but not much for the teens to do with the minimal game room and broken machines eating quarters and game tables were also broken perhaps could see if anyone in the area would donate lightly used game tables to replace the ones in the game room. Other than that really liked the spot. Larger signage.

Heaters didn't work in our cabin (was told the previous tenant couldnt get them to shut off, so KOA just turned off breaker instead of getting fixed). No heat options given. Stove and hot water wasn't working due to no propane. No bikes as advertised. Gift shop and rec room is empty. Not the same KOA with family stuff to do.

5 stars for the camping cabin. Beds were comfortable! We were disappointed in the lack of rules at the koa. Within minutes of our arrival our little dog was almost attacked by a pit bull. The owner had to hold it back with both hands and was being pulled by their dog as it lurched toward us. I reported this to office but she said she was unaware of any restrictions on pets.

We arrived two minutes before closing and when the staff saw us pulling up they couldn’t lock the doors quick enough. We were on motorcycles so we were hoping to purchase some firewood and some drinks for the night. The one bathroom that was open was so nasty we chose not to use it and the other bathroom was locked and we did not have the code. The area was nice but the staff sucks

Realize new owners recently took over. Bathroom showers need updating. Pet area where our 3 dogs ran around should be updated as ground was hard, tall grassy areas, and very uneven ground. Also, laundry facilities needs attention. Unable to do laundry as approximately 7? Out of 8 machines were out of service. Had a nice play area for kids. Overall entire campground is very nice. Would stay again.

The facilities were nice and clean, but not in good repair. Women’s bathroom: Rusty fan opening on ceiling, out of order shower, towel on floor in corner (to absorb leaking?) in one bathroom stall. Only one washer working. The golf cart was going pretty fast and stirring up dust. We love the beautiful setting in the Redwoods, I’m hopeful the new management will make needed repairs/upgrades.

Site was pretty small. Neighboring RVs were very close. We did not hook our septic drain up as it was only 5 feet from neighbor’s RV door. Very quiet & pleasant. Thank you.

We arrived at 4 PM. Office was already closed. A lady named stormy was vacuuming and wouldn’t even talk with us or look at us. She finally posted where our check-in paper would be her attitude was horrible. Bathrooms were very dirty. This really spoiled our trip. I have been there before and it was fine. Will no longer go back and would never recommend it to anyone. That is too bad.

Great little spot to stay if you just need a nights sleep. Quiet and showers nice , could tell it was just taken over and still trying to get things stocked up.

The campground itself is beautiful. The tent spaces are big, however, the staff was nonexistent, the bathrooms were filthy, the sink where you were supposed to do dishes leaked on your feet, & had no hot water. There were two working showers out of six for the women & there were two working washers and dryers out of six. And they were usually in use by the staff. The play area had broken equipment

The store was SO empty they had nothing, they said that they were remodeling but it didn't look like it and when I was there a month ago it was still the same.

Nice campground, would have rated it higher if more than one washing machine and dryer worked, and if we had internet available at our site. The campground and bathrooms were clean and being in the forest made it a great atmosphere. We would stay there again.

We rented a cabin for our son and his family which they really liked, KK1. It has a full kitchen, minus an oven, and full bath. It was great for the four of them. We really enjoyed the pretty private outdoor area with picnic table and fire pit. My wife and I stayed in out TT in site C-5. It was nothing special but did the job.

this was one of the most disappointing KOA that i ever stayed at and will never return . laundry room all machines except one out of order wifi out of order rentals , none garbage dumpsters out in the open ,smells and we had to look at it the whole time camp store barley stocked with any thing , place was dirty , this should not be a KOA , dose not live up to KOA standards

Camp site 112 was amazing 👏🏾 for my first time here. Great location and not far from pebble beach. Amenities were nice . Bathrooms are open to nature if you dont minds Charlotte's web your in a forest remember. Shower water was nice and hot just needed to find the sweet spot. Staff was great 👌🏾. I drove 4 days to get here from Denver CO. Thank you for the memories I'll definitely be back
