We arrived late in the evening/dark and were a little confused by a note on the door with our spot number and a note stating power was not an option due to wildfires in area. The next morning we wandered around and saw how charming the place was. With the fire in the area, we weren't going to be able to do the things we wanted to so headed toward home so didn't stay the 2nd night we intended.

Recommend? I guess it depends how you feel about plentiful vomit on the floor of the men’s restroom that took them about 4 hours to clean up after I informed them. Sinks had little to no water flow. Site was nice and water/ electric worked fine. We’ll shielded from neighbors.

We had high hopes for this campground. We arrived shortly after 5pm and surprised to see a sign on the door that even though everything published shows open until 8, they closed at 5. The cabin assigned had several maintenance issues that had been going on for some time. Over all seemed run down and would have been better off at a hotel. Did not live up to KOA standards. Staff not very friendly.

We were checked in by the most caring and courteous man and woman. I saw how they treated other campers as well as ourselves. If there were more stars to give, I’d be giving them.

Great location, cabin was very clean, appreciated the small fan. Office closed earlier than indicated, we sourced wood elsewhere. Bathrooms were rough. Ladies did not appear to be cleaned once during our 2 night stay. Men’s had vomit on the floor for 10+ hours and no working sinks. We understand unforeseen circumstances but this was handled poorly. Basic hygienic amenities are why we choose KOA.

Nice campground, but two aspects are not so nice: 1) The office closes too early and 2) the washrooms were not cleaned during our stay of 2 nights.

It was a really nice place and we had a good night. The restrooms in the back were a nightmare. There was vomit at the mens rooms. Also, there was no water. So we used the restroom in the front, which was much better.

It was very disappointing we had to stay in the smallest, and one of only two back in sites in the entire park. Although we paid for full hook ups and were told we would get Wi-Fi. There was no Wi-Fi available,also no cable available. asked the girl at the front desk, she said that’s because you’re too far from the office. Our site was so small our slide touched bushes. Among the redwoods, we found our friends. The KOA hosts helped us select the perfect spot. This beautiful peaceful campground is very clean and quiet, wonderful amenities and, most of all, that special KOA host hospitality. This is a great launching spot for exploring the northern California redwoods.

Tent site was NOT level. There was no level ground to pitch tent. This looked like a new addition to KOA and was under development or was in progress to be completed?

Even if the campground was busy, it was quiet. Good facilities: showers, laundramat, etc. 10 min drive from Crescent City. Close to Redwood and beach trails.

We had a great time. Comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. Some of the staff was nice and helpful. Was concerned about theft.

Amazing campground, loved our site nestled in the redwoods. It is so close to some amazing hikes and places to visit. I appreciated having laundry, showers and a small store on site. My only complaints are that the bathroom was flooded (with what seemed to be toilet water) and the washer broke (which ate our coins so we had to go into town late at night to get more to finish the load).

Loved our site in the redwoods. Restrooms are in worse shape than our last time we stayed. 1 shower stall and one toilet was out of service in the men’s restrooms. Smeared feces on the wall of the only one operating. For a RV park of this size more operable facilities should be offered.

Our site was right next to what I believe was the maintenance facility? Staff passed through both of our neighboring sites all day in multiple vehicles driving fast, stirring up dust. Not a safe spot for the kids or dog to play due to them passing so closely with trees blocking view. Fire pit was essentially out of the site next to the road, the grill was bent and damaged. Dirty playground.

staff was very accommodating re: getting us "in". We had space 202 which is a community type spot with eye to eye contact with neighbors. women's showers were deplorable with stagnant water on floor. No response with after hour # when called.Did get a $6 credit for shower conditions. LOL They have a problem with bike theft secure all items Great physical loca tions with plenty of trees.

Nice campground, staff friendly after new ownership. Have stayed here many times. Cabin area looking clean and better road although missing the thickness of trees. Figure out of order women’s issue hard to repair due to camping season but this size campground really needs working toilets and showers. Back bathroom not the best and a ways to walk from the front. It was very dirty one night.

Older campground with nice trees, but poorly maintained and in need of updating badly. Bathrooms were dirty, and woefullly inadequate for the number of campsites; I had to wait until after 11 PM to get a shower. Staff might benefit from some training in customer service/making people feel welcome.

Campsite was peaceful and lots of space, clean, spacious. Camp staff were friendly. Bathrooms a little dirty, one day out of 9 days, one toilet was clogged and the other no toilet paper.

Tent Sight 114 had tree roots sticking up thru the ground with no clear flat spot to pitch my tent. Slept in my car. In morning all 4 Rest Room sinks clogged & backed while washing my hands. Disgusting.

Location was ideal for us. Campground was clean and staff was friendly. Would have given them higher rating if restrooms were cleaned on a regular basis. I question how often a through cleaning takes place.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was very clean, making it very comfortable for us. It was so nice to have such a well stocked kitchen with dishes, glasses, utensils, soap, etc. We will likely make a return visit next summer!

Clean, efficient and tents are (thankfully) separate from RVs. But really only the place to stay in if you value convenience over beauty. Grateful to have gotten any spot at all at such late notice.

Nice staff, good location, in a nice setting. But the RV section is old and tired. Probably the dirtiest bathrooms I've seen at any KOA. I don't believe they were cleaned the 3 days we stayed. RV sites are tight and on top of each other. And they let more than one camper per site. So we were sandwiched between multiple big parties. All in all, an okay stay. But not great.

The lady at the front desk was so accommodating and so helpful!! We needed a few specific things and she was so helpful. The grounds were nice. Cabins were amazing. We loved the petting zoo, dog area and jungle gym. All other KOAs we’ve been to have cut down all their trees and made it too open! Only issues were the bathrooms were always dirty and one had no toilet paper all day. We’ll be back

Great site amongst the Redwoods with plenty of space between each pitch. Our cabin was excellent. Only negative was that one of the toilet blocks was not in a great state.

Great location. Staff was extremely friendly. Our site was close to the main building an convenient. Other site were well situated. Needed some assistance on departure day and they helped us get our RV fixes. Very Quiet location even being next to 101 hwy. Thank you .

Good overnight cabin stay as our group of 4 motorcycled through the area (Apr. 2024). Appreciated the website reservation process as well as the camp staff preps for our after-hours check-in. Clean facilities & grounds. Other than the electric heater not working, it was great. Yep, we'd stay there again.

Really great KOA, cabins are in the midst of Redwoods. Clean campground overall. Office hours are not that great, 10-3 only.
