Facility was easy to find, very well laid out, check in was super easy with a wonderful clerk. Restrooms super clean. My first time camping at a KOA. I really enjoyed it.

This KOA gives you a wonderful and affordable way to stay in the redwoods. We stayed in a camping cabin surrounded by trees. The cabin was well situated and cozy. There isn't a lot going on at this KOA vs others but if you are looking for a laid back experience, this is a great option.

Beautiful location but the wifi in campsites was non-existent. I don't have Starlink yet,so sometimes pay more to stay at a RV park for it. The maintenance guys said they'd try to reboot the extenders, but the office said they actually don't work. Was told I could sit in the office for signal to get on line for work. Had to set up my own cell booster for spotty service to get on line.

This was our second time staying at this KOA. We love the location and the campground is beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Very nice camp ground. We had a very pleasant stay. The only slight complaint I have is the lanes are tight for longer vehicles.

We stayed here on our way North to Washington and it was our first choice when we were diverted in our plans due to fires going back South. Clean facilities and fun for the kids. Both of my kids loved the playground, game room, but probably the goats and rooster the most!

The campground was extremely clean and had nice large spaces. The office had helpful information about the Redwoods. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice place good employees. The tree should be trimmed a little bit more for easier access for the RVs.

Campers back to back sharing a site. No room at all. Very tight spaces.Kids staying up late outside making noise. Bathrooms were dirty. The grounds itself look unkept. Will never be back and letting more people know not to stop when visiting The Redwoods.

Possibly the most beautiful KOA I've ever stayed in, with lots of greenery, privacy foliage and GIANT REDWOODS! They also had a little folk/rock music concert that night, and it was a really pleasant evening for enjoying the outdoors and music.

Great stay, though short. We only had one day to do Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, which was plenty of time and the park was convenient. Got to go over to Crescent City overlook and take the scenic drive - all good. The park was clean quiet and all services worked. The site was level and pull through so no issues getting in or out. Didn't do any laundry so can't speak to that.

A great location just on the North side of Crescent City! We liked being away from the town and being nestled partially in Redwoods made it feel special. Our deluxe cabin was very clean and we loved having plates, bowls, silverware, shampoo/soap, and dish soap all included. The property itself wasn't as fancy as others we've stayed at, but the cabin and location made up for it.

Would have rather been in a more wooded area with partial hookups if that was possible. But, love the forest and redwoods and the walk we took. Good location.

I normally don't have a good perception of KOA campgrounds as a tent camper but this one actually felt like they had tent camping in mind when it was developed. Semi private sites, and not surrounded by RVs. The showers were decent, too. This was better than the state Park we stayed at another night.

Wonderful paths to walk dogs through the redwoods and incredible proximity to everything in the area with easy on and off of 101. Semi-private-sites. Quiet at night and great laundry. Nice staff.

There were rocks where you supposed to put your bed because some dingdong side of the street should be gravel. The men’s shower room would not drain water footed the floor out to the sinks. Overall bad experience.

The employees were nice and helpful upon checkin. The dryer wasn't working but found an employee afterhours to help. There was an unexpected heat wave and was too hot to stay in the cabin as it was cooler outside as the evening fell. The front desk did not have any fans, so we slept outside for most the night until the mosquitos were unbearable. Wish the office could of provided more relief

We stayed here and arrived late it seemed like a nice campground. We left early as we were trying to head up the coast more. Redwood got my allergies messed up, but beautiful scenery.

I had a negative experience, but it definitely wasn’t because of the campground condition or staff. My campsite was close to a bathroom and there was a tweaker couple rummaging around with cans they had collected, making noise and hanging out in the bathroom… I eventually told them to beat it, but it made for a stressful night of sleep

We stayed as part of our WA-to-CA coast trip. It is called Redwood KOA, but it was not in the redwoods at all. It was not up to the standards of a KOA campground. We were put in a spot between three roads, and it was dusty, and cars were coming and going all the time.

the location is practical and the cabin was nice enough. too bad they have to shove in tents in between so that there was a campers right on top of the cabin and therefore little to no privacy at the site.

In the past we have had wonderful stays at this location. Most current stay wasn’t as good as previous stays. We were told we would have a specific site, which didn’t happen. Bathrooms/showers are nice and clean, and the campground itself is clean. Staff is very friendly. Just wish there were more tent sites available in the big trees and shaded areas.

We have stayed there multiple times, site map was a bit confusing this time not all sites appear on the map. Our did though. Like the park how ever it was a bit dusty this time.

The showers and bathrooms were badly in need of renovations - very run down and dirty. The campsites were small and also needed maintenance. For example, there was a tree branch directly over our fire pit.

Great location but the worst maintained KOA facility I've been to. Bathrooms always dirty and no soap. Both campgrounds I went to (I had to transfer cabins) had trash on the ground or stuff in the fire pit. The picnic benches had screws sticking out that you could easily snag yourself on. The staff was nice and the facilities were nice otherwise.

I came to Crescent City on my own, a little uncertain about staying on my own at KOA. Whitney at the front desk put me completely at ease— kind, welcoming and helpful. Afterward, I felt very much at home at KOA and Whitney continued to be a great resource throughout my stay. I booked Benbow when I got home because I enjoyed the KOA vibe so much! Thanks for a fantastic experience :)

Great location. The KOA was far enough away to be quiet at night and close enough to go to all of the local attractions (hiking trails, ocean, etc.).

I have stayed there several times and have yet to see an employee. I used to work in an RV park so I notice things like no TP, door lock missing in Mens and for the money, a pool or hot tub would be nioce!

The campground itself was pretty and had some nice sites. This particular KOA is a good just passing through, not a longer stay one. It is more run down and the staff isn't super friendly! Bathroom soaps were never refilled, the store was empty, game room is missing half the stuff to use it, didnt see any bike rentals, wifi didn't work. Good for overnight, not a week!

Would be nice to get thicker pads in the cabins and either enforce the leash on animals or charge for pets. Got up at 3am to use restroom and had a dog on the porch barking at me. Not my animal!!!

Use KOA’s all around states. This one was not a Holiday KOA. Not kept up in any way. There employees were asked to not drive though camp sites and kick up dirt bombarding our campsite. After the 4th time…. My wife was flipped off by a woman that was driving the golf cart, we proceeded to go to the office and asked for manager, she was polite and said they’d take care of it. (Not)

One of the most beautiful settings we've stayed in. Campground was quiet and we could enjoy being surrounded by the redwoods. Enjoyed the amenities and the staff was friendly

Wonderful place to stay, very quiet with friendly staff. Only complaint is there was no place to sit in the shower area and there was no soap to wash one’s hands in the men’s restrooms.

*not by any fault of the campground* but I showered, which the showers are SO clean and have great pressure and hot water, and I accidentally left my clothes on the sink. Went back to get them and one of shirts had been stolen…really upset that people think it's okay to steal. It was a white long sleeve shirt that said trick or treat with the cast of scooby doo. Thrifted it years ago and really upset someone stole it. My other clothes had been left behind. Leaving something behind on accident does not give anyone the right to steal. Can hear the highway depending on your site. Laundry available for a fee but bathrooms and showers very clean.

Great location to setup your base camp when visiting the redwoods. Also one of the rare RV parks with solid internet.
