The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They gave us very helpful tips on where to drive along the beach on the bluff . The deluxe cabin was very nice . Bed was comfortable too .

Our site, 401, was secluded and quiet, in a beautiful setting. It happened to be difficult to access with our 26’ travel trailer. My wife was disappointed with the women’s bathroom and shower as the entire floor was covered with water.

This is a beautiful campground with cabins and back in sites surrounded by redwoods. Even the pull-through sites are shielded from each other with bushes. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a beautiful site but we had to store our bicycles in the office each night because there is a theft problem from Creacent City. We were warned by a camper staying g there when we were checking in! This information was confirmed by the office person who very kindly offered to keep our bikes in the office overnight. She has has conversations with local law enforcement and they do nothing.

Great. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Location was wonderful. Sites were a little close but manageable. There was a small elk heard in the meadow adjacent to the KOA. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

We came to the Crescent City KOA (HOLIDAY) from the Manchester Beach KOA (JOURNEY) to the south. Are their two designations mislabeled? Manchester KOA has a pool, hot tub, all sorts of recreation, huge separation between sites, fully-stocked store, & super-friendly staff. Crescent City has no pool nor hot tub, sparse recreation, spaces are close, an almost empty store and goats. HUH ????????

The staff was very helpful in getting us a spot that was perfect for our preferences. The bathrooms were always clean and open. Very cool game room and other amenities. Love the close location to the Redwood trails.

Great overall, but communication needs improvement. Our registration notes stated that we would be arriving early morning so we booked the night prior to avoid check-in time delay. I received a call the day of our booked arrival stating that I had to do an over the phone check-in in order to not show up in the system as a no show. Almost missed the call since I was at a wedding!

This is my Favorite KOA so far! Plenty to do with the family, lots of beautiful and large camp site amongst the redwoods. We will definitely be back!

The stay was good. The roads out are tight for big rig (60’ connected). The park is more like a state park with all the nature and use of trees and plants between sites.

We loved it until the sounds of a chain saw and weed wacker began a short distance away from our site. It happened to be on the day we had decided to have a peaceful day of rest in our lovely forest campsite. If done to take care of a dangerous situation we understand, but if not we feel it a bad call to pollute the peace of paying campers from 3 to 7:30 pm on a Friday eve.

I couldn't manage your laundry room app. This came after I bought ten dollars worth of quarters from office. Very frustrating. Your phone message says you close at 5. But you actually close at 6.

The office staff was so helpful! The grounds were clean and maintained. The property was spread out and the spots had decent room between them.

Nice place but the fact that they were saturating the ground with weed killer to the point that we had to go inside so as not to smell it! As she listened to her boom box! Then later the weedeater! Why are you doing maintenance on a Saturday, and why are you spraying weed killer at all? Ironically there are chickens and a cat wandering around the grounds being poisoned. Poorly managed!

Great campground like they used to be, before they started turning into a big parking lot. Individual wooded sites. Good wifi and clean common areas. Very quiet place camp and relax or visit the local cypress trees.

The tent and RV sites offer enough privacy, but they are close together. Although the bathrooms are on a cleaning schedule, they get messy quickly because there are only 2-3 shower stalls and toilet stalls, with 2 bathroom locations in the entire camp. Overall, good experience and outstanding location near the Redwoods.
