Showers without hot water multiple times, cabins didnt have working heaters or smoke detectors (missing) let front office know they said they would fix it no changes the next few days we were there.

Cold water in showers. Cold water to wash dishes outside of restrooms. No laundry facilities available. Not much in the camp store. Absolutely beautiful redwoods!!! Campsites are beautiful

Reserved a site 6 months in advance and was still moved around. No hot water and flooding in bathrooms. Store was not stocked. Been staying at this KOA for 9 years and this was the worst experience.

This KOA is honestly an embarrassment to the KOA company. The office is unmanned more often than not, and reeks of.......cat pee when it was open. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy with overflowing trash, nasty/ broken showers, and out of order toilets. The laundry facilities were "out of order" but I watched employees washing linens in them. The grounds were unkempt. Koa needs to fix this one!

We’ve stayed in all over the USA and this was by FAR the worst place we’ve ever been. The pictures on the website are completely inaccurate. The RV spots are in a dry field looking at old beat up sheds and garbage dumpsters. We got the delux patio site and our friends had the site next to us and it’s just simply terrible beyond words. It was a beautiful camp ground and the cabin was wonderful. Our last night there someone parked in our parking spot. It would be nice to have designated parking, so we don’t have to park away from our cabin.

The bathrooms were FILTHY and in horrible disrepair. Women's bathroom had muddy footprints on the counter for days. Only one shower worked. Overflowing trash everywhere. No staff on hand in office for our entire stay and no one answered phone. Site had electric and water on the wrong side so we had to run power and water under our camper. Power pole on site damaged and had exposed wires.

Our 5th trip to Crescent City KOA and most likely our last. Crescent City KOA Campground is under new ownership and it's gone downhill. During our 3 day trip, there was no cleaning, trash pick up or services. 1 of 2 toilets in the Men's room was broken entire weekend. Women's bathroom was missing door lock/hooks in the showers. Hopefully the new owners will see this review and remediate.

The cabin was good except the main mattress was worn flat enough to hurt my hips throughout the night, even thru my sleeping bag. Laundry was out of order, there was no hot water in one of the bathrooms for showers and the sinks and toilets were generally worn down or broken. Met no staff until we were checking out. Cool surroundings in the trees but we would not stay again.

restrooms were dirty our entire stay with trash overflowing, there were no locks on the showers in the ladies restroom, and the laundry room was out of service, this place has really fallen apart.

NIce staff, campground is not the same after the cutting down of most of the redwoods in the campground. The bathrooms are hella nasty the place is run down. It needs to close during the winter and have a full remodel and fix up/ clean up. They 100% need a security person there at all times the place has tons of homeless that swoop your stuff and use the bathrooms and showers or do their laundry.

We loved our stay and we would like to come back. It should be better communicated that the cabin rentals don't come with linens. We didn't see any mention of this during our reservation and even during check-in. One we arrived at our cabin and noticed that there were no linens, we had to return to the front desk and request them, only to be told that housekeeping was closed.

It appeared that the KOA was under new management. Limited store supplies and facility was outdated. Grounds also needed maintenance. Had what we needed for a one night stay.

Arrive 7:30 pm office not staffed ( supposed to be staff till 8)- holiday weekend Left 9 am store 9-8pm posted hours Men’s restroom filthy and stench Pot holes in road along whole stretch of road Charger did not have 20 amps only 15 Shower not work Games broken No staff to clean entire time we were there even though posted koa sign says continually serviced There was no one to alert

One of the MOST beautiful campgrounds we’ve seen. However, the management is really bad: only 2 of 3 ladies showers work and none have latches, never any paper towels in the men’s RR for a 3 night stay, no ice, office staff leave at 5:00 leaving many people to wander around to find their site. They keep blaming it on being new owners but a trip to Walmart would fix many problems quickly!!!

Beautiful area!! Scenery is a 10/10 everyone friendly and quiet. And you are close to the ocean or stores or trails. And lots of room outside for your own little area

The office/camp store hours were very inconsistent. Saw the person locking up at 4:45pm when hours posted says to 8pm. Nobody there to assist.

The facilities were deteriorated and most of the park was not working. The 2 out of 6 showers that were working has black sludge backing up from the drain. The park had broken equipment that children were climbing on. The heater we had did not work and we had to ask for a new one, which was very small. We noted the broken one was placed on the game room for use. Lots more issues

Cabin was nice. But the bathrooms were disgusting. We stayed a week and they were cleaned maybe once. Often there was no toilet paper or soap. The women’s shower stalls had no locks. The laundry was down (the alert was posted after our stay) with no prior notice.

Unfortunately they are in the process of either selling or upgrading the camp. Locks don't work in the bathroom. And the wash room was locked up.

The bathroom was disgusting. It was NEVER cleaned in the 4 days I was there. I even discussed it with the front desk person, and nothing changed. There was a plugged toilet, that according to Trip Check has been that way for weeks.

I'm giving it a 3 because my site (401) was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Otherwise, part of the campground was dingy and the bathroom was filthy and wasn't cleaned in the four days I was there. It has the potential to be nice, but needs some work.

Facilities are outdated and dirty. On site employees told us that they are in transition with ownership changes. Restrooms were dirty/non-functional. We’ve been on a two-month RV trip in the US and Canada and this was by far the worst campground we’ve stayed in. I do not recommend going there.

Absolutely horrible KOA. Clogged toilets not fixed for days. Fecal water all over floor. Bathrooms rarely cleaned. No shower door locks. No shower curtains. No hot water. Playground- lawsuit waiting to happen. Rec room dark. A homeless man wandering around and screaming all night- felt very unsafe. Rude employees. KOA corporate should be embarrassed and concerned about the image this KOA presents.

While the setting is kind of nice, the bathrooms and showers were consistently dirty or missing toilet paper. There was also a drug addiction screaming to himself while sleeping on a chair outside of the showers. The front desk lady was super nice and professional, and some of the tent sites were pretty. Ours was not the best but the ones near our site looked pretty.

The setting was beautiful and our site was great. However, the bathrooms were a little dirty as several of the toilets were clogged and the laundry room was out of order until July 8th (2 weeks after our stay).

Restrooms were nasty and one set of showers weren’t even working. Front office wasn’t open very often to talk to them. Laundry room wasn’t available. Rec room was lacking. The cabins were cute and the setting was beautiful.

We stayed in a cabin and were arriving really late so I requested linens online and called ahead to make sure we would have them. The lady ensured that we would. We arrived around 1 in the morning and there were no linens at all. Was a rough nights sleep.

No hot showers, cold water. No where to put items when showering, no hooks for items. Toilets were dirty, these were the bathrooms on the backside of the site. Had to walk and bring all shower items to the only stalls that worked for the women, always a line and very dirty with several people using the stalls and toilets. No shower head and no shower curtains. No power outlets for tent site.

This KOA is in a beautiful location but needs a lot of work. We left after seeing the bathroom without staying the night. The office closed at 5pm so we didn’t bother asking for a refund. Don’t stay here until new management gets the place back in order. So sad to see a KOA in this shape.

I can't believe that this RV park has the KOA name on it! The park is great but the upkeep is terrible!! The women's restroom had one functioning shower out of three. Broken shower doors, filthy bathrooms, both men and women! No soap in dispensers, no paper towels and trash cans overflowing! One washer and dryer working in the laundry room! Nothing for sale in the store! A truly atrocious display!

*not by any fault of the campground* but I showered, which the showers are SO clean and have great pressure and hot water, and I accidentally left my clothes on the sink. Went back to get them and one of shirts had been stolen…really upset that people think it's okay to steal. It was a white long sleeve shirt that said trick or treat with the cast of scooby doo. Thrifted it years ago and really upset someone stole it. My other clothes had been left behind. Leaving something behind on accident does not give anyone the right to steal. Can hear the highway depending on your site. Laundry available for a fee but bathrooms and showers very clean.

Great location to setup your base camp when visiting the redwoods. Also one of the rare RV parks with solid internet.
