Young woman at check-in was very nice and helpful with info. We noticed that almost all shelves in the store were empty and were told it was undergoing new management and there a timing issue with restocking. Bathrooms were not clean and at 10 am there was no toilet paper - yikes. Hopefully there will be improvements with new owners.

Incredibly misleading and run down KOA. The location and setting is beautiful being nestled in the Red Woods. Unfortunately that doesn’t make up for the bathrooms not having toilet paper for days or the trash scattered throughout the property. And that’s just the basics, the extras that are advertised for this KOA (horseshoes without horseshoes, showers without hot water, etc.) are not availab

Great for access to Redwoods/Crescent City. Good cabin. Back bathroom was nearly unusable. Arrived Mon, by Wed I had to go ask for a roll of toilet paper. No hot water, broken toilet handles, filthy floors, falling fencing at dog park and playground. No lights in arcade/rec room. Broken foosball table and ping pong ball, only one washing machine/dryer. Overall VERY rundown.

The setting was very beautiful but the ba5hrooms left something to be desired. Lots of things need fixing there. No shower heads on some of the showers, industrial floor mats that were so painful to stand on while showering, a broken shower stall door, broken toilet seat, only one washer and dryer out of the bunch was working, and one of two bathrooms had no hot water.

Spent 5 days here would have left sooner if I could have got a refund. Bathrooms were not maintained, one cleaning in a 5 day span, a towel wrapped around the toilet to slow a leak. Store is bare no product, laundry room only has 1 working unit. Hopefully things get better staff was pleasant but this location needs some help.

While the location is absolutely stunning, the facilities are completely lacking. The bathrooms are run down and dirty, most of the time no toilet paper or paper towels were available. All but one shower was broken and even the working one didn’t have a locking door. The laundry room only had two working machines. Trash was piled high at all stations creating a concern for wildlife. Very sad.

The KOA was super dirty. The bathrooms were a mess with random garbage (used w-tips, full sanitary napkin baskets, etc). One of the four sinks, one of the two soap dispensers, one out of three shower nozzles, and the door of one out of three showers were broken. The floors were constantly muddy and toilets dirty. There was garbage piled up all over the property spilling out on the ground.

Homeless guy in rear restroom. Someone vandalized front restroom. Ripped off stall door. Both restrooms were in severe disrepair. This was the worst KOA we’ve ever stayed at.

Horrible stay....Facilities are very outdated...plugged toilets. Worst campground I've even stayed at. Hopefully the ownership change will improve the conditions of the park.

The setting of the campground is beautiful. They were under ownership change. The new owner hadn't had time to fix everything that had been neglected by the old owner. It was excessively dusty, huge potholes, dirty bathrooms, dirty laundry that didn't work, cable did not work, furniture on the patios was sun rotted, trees needed trimmed, store empty. Hope it improves.

Cabins were not cleaned , no hot water in the women’s restroom , trash cans were always overflowing not what we expected , we have been coming up almost every year to stay at this koa because of prior experiences not sure we will be returning

Trash needs to be taken out more, bathrooms need to be cleaned more, and the washers/dryers need to be fixed one washer and one dryer is not enough for a whole camp ground.

Bathrooms were very dirty and no toilet paper available. We had to use the main bathroom to shower due to the other bathroom had no hot water. The main showers (there are 3) and only 1 worked. Store was bare and closed early so it was impossible to get firewood. Camp site was not mowed or clean when we checked in. Trash bins overflowing causing trash sitting on the ground.

A beautiful setting amongst the Redwoods. Spacious campsites. But the bathrooms were filthy and hot water went out. The shelves of provisions in the office were empty. It looks like they have given up on this place. It is a shame because it is otherwise spectacular.

It was in rough shape. 80% of the laundry units weren't working it just wasn't that clean. It just wasn't that nice. The location was great. The Wi-Fi was down. I understand. New owners are in transition. I can only get better.

The worse stay ever. First of all my cabin was not clean at all. There was a lot of dog hair in the bed and all over the floor, I have pictures to prove. NO hat water in the far restroom ,no seat covers, no soap, all the washers and dryers were out of order. I had to wash my clothes and my blankets because there were hair every where. I would like to have some credit back.

It's not a KOA at all and I would like a full refund. There was no staff. Vegetation was overgrown; couldn't open awning. No kids programs. Rec center not functional. Store completely empty. Neighbors bikes stolen within hours of our arrival. Black bear at trash so kids weren't leaving our sight. We left after one night. Apparently, KOA doesn't hold all parks to the same standards.

The camp site was great. But the washroom condition of cleaning was left to désire. The reception well when we arrived it 4:45 the office was close even if it said it would be open till 5:00. It was because of someone else that found the box with papers telling us where our camp site was.

Hot water didn't work in the showers 2 of 3 days we were there and overall, the bathrooms were not kept clean. Giving 3 stars because there was a person who answered the phone which was helpful and the place was peaceful.

Camp / trailer sites nice, level, pleasant . Amenities came up lacking, bathrooms needed more cleaning attention, washer and dryer not working, short store hours ( regular 9-5). No wi-if available as listed. Staff at check in very pleasant!

This campground needs some work! The lady who checked us in was very pleasant and clearly loves her job. It’s too bad ,though that the restroom floors were covered with mud and at one point, I resorted to bring my own tissue with me. The showers were not very clean but at least the water was hot. So sorry to say but the worst KOA we’ve ever stayed at

This campground should have the KOA name removed immediately! I’ve stayed in many KOA in its day perhaps 1976. It would’ve been a great campground at this point. It is so old and faded and in need of restoration. It should be closed. There is one washer and dryer, the rest are all broken. Everything about the entire camp is broken down and grungy. You asked for feedback so there it is.

This COULD BE an amazing place however it IS NOT. Sign said new owners but don't know how new because in 3 nights we never spoke to a single staff. Dog park had 1' tall grass, full of holes and dog poop with falling down fence. Similar with play area Our pull thru site had hookups on wrong side only 1 washer and 1 dryer worked No cable as advertised For now I would pass on this place until

Great location and sites were close but nice. However the facilities were terrible. Curious how things labeled a “Holiday” resort by KOA as they only had one washing machine and dryer working out of 5, and there was a line hours long to do laundry. No dumpster facility to empty your trash, no firewood available as we were told to go to Wal Mart, zero items in their store except 3 t-shirts.

The camping cabin was clean and the porch swing made mornings and evenings lovely. Unfortunately, there is new ownership that has not restocked the store - it was nearly completely empty. They have an ice machine, but no bags to be able to sell ice. It was sad to see the state of this, but the staff were awesome and helpful!!!

The actual camping lot was absolutely beautiful! The Redwoods and native flowers made it enjoyable to just sit there .Other Patrons were respectful, especially overnight. Issues: laundry room. Every machine was broken, the bathroom facilities we're broken and just felt filthy. I would not return to this KOA unless improvements were made.

The park is absolutely stunning. The trees are amazing. We really wanted to stay longer but we were beside some VERY obnoxious campers. Ruined our stay. We couldn’t leave fast enough. I wish others were more respectful of their words and volume. Quite time was definitely not enforced!

The campground is beautiful! The bathrooms however were filthy. (I’m sending photos to corporate). They are old yes, but “old” does not need to be filthy. When I addressed it with the girl in the building she said it’s because they are under new management. The campground itself is peaceful, beautiful and awesome.

The potential is there, but this KOA is not up to standards. The RV sites themselves are beautiful, right up against a redwood forest with lots of privacy. The amenities are lacking. Only one bathhouse was functional as the other had no hot water. The laundry facility had one working washer and one working dryer. We also saw people using the facility who were not staying there.

I was only there overnight, but it is a beautiful campground. They did a great job of creating the campground amidst the trees, making it extra peaceful and mystical. I arrived after hours, so didn't interact with staff but the facilities, cabin, etc were clean and well-maintained.

Employees were helpful and courteous. The campground is in serious need of renovations. The bathrooms were dirty. The camping area was not as advertised. The camp store was completely unstocked. We were very disappointed!

We’ve been staying here annually for the last 6+ years. Never had complaints before in previous stays, but this year’s trip we’ve noticed the gradual decline in the grounds and quality of the park. Whether it be the restrooms or the cabins we stay in, quality has definitely declined. We have a large group , and have all concluded we will be looking for a new place to stay for our annual trip

The grounds are just beautiful and on this point alone I would recommend the campground. However, the facilities were unacceptable. Four of the seven showers were either out or operating in an unacceptable way (e.g., with a pipe instead of a shower head). One of the toilets was broken and several of the others rocked unstably when sat upon. Often the floors were littered and dirty.

Great campground like they used to be, before they started turning into a big parking lot. Individual wooded sites. Good wifi and clean common areas. Very quiet place camp and relax or visit the local cypress trees.

The tent and RV sites offer enough privacy, but they are close together. Although the bathrooms are on a cleaning schedule, they get messy quickly because there are only 2-3 shower stalls and toilet stalls, with 2 bathroom locations in the entire camp. Overall, good experience and outstanding location near the Redwoods.
