Oh I love going to this RV park the people in the office so nice and they are so sweet when I called if there’s just one special RV spot open, I will ask them and they will give it to me. It is my favorite spot in the RV park and we will be coming back in June. I will make my reservations.��

This was probably the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed at. No signs of life from any staff or ownership. One of two bathrooms was out which meant two men’s toilets for the entire park. Outlets didn’t work in the bathrooms. There are other nice RV parks in the area I will stay at next time.

We have stayed in all the cabins over the pass 10 plus years. It's a very nice and quiet place off of 101. Very clean and the people that run it and the employees are very nice. We give it 2 thumbs up.

Our cabin smelled like cigarettes, to the point where we had to keep the windows open all night otherwise it was unbearable. Having asthma and allergies i woke up very sick from inhaling the stench all night. It took me all morning/ early afternoon to start to feel better. I will not start at a KOA again because of this.

Included in the amenities on website was Cable TV which was Not available - we still had to pay full price. Lots of tree cutting that started at 7:50 AM Not fair that cable is included on the website.

Says there is cable but none of the hookups work. I think the owner needs to work on the amenities first before taking out all of the beautiful trees. That was what attracted us to stay here through the years. Staff is great! This was the reason for the ratings.

My family and I booked one of the cabins at the redwood/crescent city KOA for a weekend and it did not disappoint. We truly enjoyed the property, the cabin, the amenities, and we had time to explore the nearby areas/rivers. We can’t wait to visit again!

The Redwoods, the whole reason to stay at this KOA were being worked on and it didn't say anywhere this was the case, otherwise I wouldn't have booked this KOA. It was our first KOA experience and it was disappointing. The wifi wouldn't work in our site and the cable TV only had 2 channels that would actually come in clear.

We arrived at 8:45 pm unaware the office closed. at 7:00 pm. Other KOAs where I have stayed are staffed much later. We found a site and pitched camp. Would have liked to have access to the bathrooms.

I usually feel very confident in booking a KOA. This time I was disappointed. Sites were not even close to being level, advertised cable tv did not work, they’re “working on it”, grass needed mowing. Sites were muddy because they had potholes and roads were extremely bumpy and had big holes. When trying to exit, road was blocked by workers vehicles and we had to turn the wrong way.

Staff is rarely available. Said they would be in the office until 4, we got there at 3:20 and everyone was gone. Loud barking dog (at one of the cabins) all weekend, no staff around. Playground falling down, trash and old equipment littering the grounds.

It is sad to see all the Redwoods that have been cut down in the back campground sites. Expensive for what you get. Laundry room machines also need to be serviced. My washing machine sounded like a jet taking off in all cycles.

This is our favorite KOA to camp at. There is a lot to do around the area. The only thing that disappointed us is there were only 4 cable channels that came in.

This campground is one of the most poorly maintained campground I have ever stayed at. The facilities were run down. There were 2 shower buildings yet only 1 was available to use and even then only 2 of the 3 stalls were operational. Playground and rec room were poorly maintained. All in all this campground is in need of a complete upgrade. It does NOT meet the level of a Holiday level campground.

We had a beautiful time and really enjoyed our last night together around the fire pit having charcuterie, wine and great conversation. The beds were comfy we slept well we enjoyed having a full kitchen and bathroom made good use of both of them haha. Thank you very much for providing a clean and easy place for us share with wonderful friends we all had a great trip.

This campsite was nicely kept and the ground are nice. The front desk was so helpful and accommodating. The campground has concrete patio so you are leveled with a picnic table and area to burn a campfire. Great place to stay.

We arrived past open hours, but found checking in was easy. The grounds are rural and lovely. The restrooms and laundry room clean and tidy. They were doing some thinning out of trees in the back areas. Everything was safely contained with caution tape and postings to not enter as it was dangerous. We were still able to walk in the direction of the meadow where we viewed about twenty elk.

When we checked in and was given a map to our spot. When we got to our site there were 2 cars parked in it. I walked back to the office and instead of getting them moved she put us in a lesser spot. The hook ups were on the wrong end so I had to pull clear through to hook up. It was muddy where our steps were but we had no choice. On the way out the dump was plugged and we couldn't dump. We were pleasantly surprised with our cabin…beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean (and hot water in the shower!), very private, close to town…we will definitely return to this campground.

Level gravel pad with full hookups. Easy access directly off I-101 Toilets, showers and laundry we're all very clean and a big plus is that they have recycling bins. All the staff were very nice, Debbie in the office especially. The only thing that would have made it stay better would have been the weather, it rained continuously!

Since CA has had practically none stop rain over 3 months this shows in the mud bogs around each site. A load of gravel is needed along with stepping stones to allow us to get in our RV without mud coated shoes. Also the cable is useless. There is no abc, cbs or nbc. 11 of the 16 channels are advertising DISH cable.

It rained the whole time so we weren’t able to take advantage of the amenities. The bathrooms and laundry room were very clean. The office/store had lots of things to look at snd the personnel were very friendly.

The lady behind the counter and the folks doing the maintenance were so nice! Top notch. BUT, sewer was constantly backed up. The toilets were not working and while the folks running the place tried so hard, the campground is getting too run down to keep up with. Playground is leaning, VB net is ripped, so many mole holes it is dangerous to play out in the play area. Send help!

This has always been a favorite campground for our family, location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay this weekend, it was quiet, relaxing and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Honestly don't know what people are complaining about. My family loved it. We brought our 3 year old and a small dog and stayed in one of the basic cabins with no bathroom. It was quaint and comfortable and very warm with the heater. We brought our valuables into the cabin and took everything off our roof rack and locked it in the car. No theft, no one bothered us, no loud parties, very quiet and relaxing. Other families with small children. Short office hours but everything was ready for us for our arrival after hours. Bathrooms were clean and operational with hot water. Grounds were beautiful and we loved the goats.

Good overnight cabin stay as our group of 4 motorcycled through the area (Apr. 2024). Appreciated the website reservation process as well as the camp staff preps for our after-hours check-in. Clean facilities & grounds. Other than the electric heater not working, it was great. Yep, we'd stay there again.
