Even though we booked in February for late May, we were put in a construction zone. To their credit, the KOA manager did move us when we asked to be moved, but our original spot was less than awesome. Then we were moved to a spot that was better, but still in a construction area. The second night we were in an all right spot. I wouldn't stay here again unless I was desperate.

This KOA need work. The grass needed mowing, the hedges needed trimming, roads were rough, sites too narrow, sites not level at all. The owner needs to quit cutting down trees for his cabin area and give some attention to the RV area. We would not stay here again.

They were very kind to cut branches off trees to accommodate our rig, but I hated the cutting of hundred year old redwood trees to expand the campground. Very sad and disappointed.

We have stayed here several times over the last 9 years. Never disappoints. This time we stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was great. It was clean, had basic dishes and a nice sitting area with a fire pit out front. Will be staying there again.

Our stay was great, The staff were amazing and the facilities were excellent. We did have a few issues however. There was a lot of work being done which made the grounds not look so great and the spot that we got for an RV was boarder line unacceptable. I know that the grounds normally wouldn't look like this, so no worries, but the spot we got seemed like a tent spot.

The KOA was fine. The town was HORRIBLE! Couldn’t give me a free trip to come back to Crescent City. But the campsite was good.

We have been there a few times and enjoyed being among the giant Redwoods,but we are very disappointed that the beautiful trees that you decimated. We will never come back very, disappointing we really liked this spot. I’m thinking you probably got a big payday with those 100 plus year old trees. Shameful �

I have been traveling for a month now and mainly staying on places I find for free. I tried another camp ground but it was too overcrowded so I left early. I really enjoyed this spot and taking a shower was fantastic! I was very annoyed to see the unattended bad behaved children. Leaving trash in the bathroom, bathroom covered in tp one night and a kid riding into trash cans. WATCH YOUR KIDS

We arrived late. Had to figure out our site by other site nos. No number posted on our assigned site. I realize that clean up was taking place - downed trees etc. Was happy to have laundry facilities. However, none of the electrical outlets worked in the ladies washroom. I used an outlet in the laundry room to dry my hair.

Typical KOA. Clean, well layed out, friendly staff, a great place to stay. KOA is a place you can trust to be good to stay at.

Great campground. Easy access from 101. Lots to see and do. Clean bathroom and friendly staff. Eager to help. Quiet and really enjoyed the tall redwoods on property. Would stay here again

It was a decent place to spend the nights for our Redwood National Park exploration. It wasn’t as nice as most KOA campgrounds we usually stay at. The office was never open when we needed something.

From the picture online and my knowledge of the area I expected a beautiful and peaceful stay among the redwoods. The campground was beautiful, but not nearly as beautiful as it had been just a short time ago and certainly not peaceful. There is a large and loud logging operation going on that has cut down scores of the redwood trees leaving ugly stumps throughout the grounds.

The only reason to stay at this KOA was the gorgeous Redwood grove in the park. The owner has decided to obliterate it, apparently for profit. He didn’t just “thin the trees,” he decimated them. It’s a horrific scene! We will never return. Shame on KOA.

It was very nice and the cabin was very clean. No complaints. The mattresses were very comfy and the heater was perfect for the cold nights. The whole place was cozy and we didn't want to leave. The amazing redwood surroundings made it even better with there towering heights and lush greenery. We will definitely be back soon to once again enjoy ourselves out in God's creation.

The sites were a good size and easy to maneuver. Late check-in was very easy. We were expecting full WiFi for our site, but the internet does not reach past the cabins. This location needs a WiFi booster for their full hookup RV sites. There was a ton of forestry work being done around the site, some of the flagging tape was down. Made it a little tricky to know where to walk paths.

I’m sure it’s beautiful normally but it was noisy due to trees being cut down and unorganized from the get go! We arrived late and were told our site info was on the door…it wasn’t! So we had to move the next morning. Did I say we arrived late? According to the hours posted online we got in early enough to check in…but apparently 10a-4p is the ACTUAL office hours.

Beautiful campground. We came late and it took us 20 minutes to find our unmarked site with very narrow access due to downed trees and logs. Bathroom near our site was closed. The open bathroom was dated, clogged drain. Looks like they are expanding quite a bit and hopefully will upgrade their bathroom as well.

You opened up your logging operation and tore down the yellow caution tape so we could get to the cabin on our motorcycles. Worst KOA we've stayed at in over 20 states over the last three years. Your manager acted like it was no big deal. Horrible customer service - will not stay here again or recommend. Even the folks at the local Denny's have stories to tell about how bad you are. KMA.

All the trees were cut down, Bathrooms closed and the only one open had 2 toilets for the whole park. Nasty place to stay. Used to be my favorite place ever to go to. Place is now tore up and I felt like I slept at a homeless camp. Place needs to just be shut down now that all the redwood trees are cut down in the park. No one told us about the changes to the park we drove 5 hours there too.

we were there for 4 nights stuck in a very small spot that would be an overnight spot no room to set up canopy or proper camp. watched better camps go to overnight campers. we had no shade firepit about 3 feet from next camp right on the motorhome next door, could not not even open awning with slide out had to squeeze by it and hedge to get to table we wont be back

We have not been to this campground for over three years. The place is really run down and in need of care. The play area and dog park grass was so long it basically could not be used. The garbage cans were overflowing. There are also homeless individuals occupying spots in the tent area. They hang out near the bathroom, game room at night. That was right next to our campsite. We will not return.

1.Upon arrival the Bathrooms were atrocious. 2.The office only being opened until 4:00 was very inconvenient, as there was no one there to report any problems. 3.The grass in the dog park had not been cut and was extremely high. 4.The construction(which was never mention)started at 7:30AM. 5. I do not appreciate you cutting down the tree's we went to California to see.

We pitched the tent on KoA sampgrounds . Staffs were nice. We could get firewood and the area was very quiet.

Even though a fire hit part of the campground, they have done a wonderful job accommodating guests to beautiful campsites. I was in a tent, not a cabin, although I recommend both! It's very beautiful, the location is perfect between Crescent City and Brookings. I've been coming here for about 10 years!
