Without notice the pool was closed for two thirds of my stay. Although complete the playground was not open. Bathroom had an operable shower and paper products ran out.

This place is fantastic! My child was bummed that the jumping pillow wasnt opened during the posted hours, and the playground wasnt quite ready yet....even though on day one out of 4, we were told it probably would be open same day. This time around, we were told the park would open and it never did. The pool didn’t open until 11:30 because they were short staffed. There was no paper towels in the women’s bathroom the whole time we were there. There was children swimming without parents in the swimming pool. There was also a burn ban so no fire pits.

Great campsite. However the trash container by the jump pad was never collected. The store was not open during the time posted. The new playground was taped off but kids were playing on it anyway.

Staff was friendly but our campsite dealt with cigarette smokers, loud music until 1am and virtually no whispering hours as the noise started back up at 5:30am. We must use electric campsites as we have medical cpap machines for sleep so we can’t just move across the campground. There should be 1-2 tent camping spaces miles away from the party crowd, maybe over by the RVs or someone to patrol la

We regularly come and stay for more than two nights every year, but this time I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom cleanliness. There was no toilet paper in one stall for more than a day. Other than that, it was a good stay.

The campground seemed short-staffed during the holiday weekend. The bathrooms and pool were dirty and poorly maintained, and they even ran out of toilet paper. The holiday events were disappointing compared to other KOAs. Internet service was unreliable unless you sat in the office, which was closed Sunday. Past visits had much better customer service and staff support.

We are not KOA members but were welcomed and given great hospitality! The campground was very well maintained and clean as well as the bathrooms! Eric in the camp store was very friendly and helpful!

The closest bathrooms to where we stayed were closed down which made it a bit of a walk to the next restroom, I feel they should have put in portable toilets if they were shutting down for remodeling. Over previous phone conversations they never once mentioned they would be shut down, or we would have camped elsewhere.

The added activities for member appreciation were outstanding. I hope these activities can be done during the summer all the time. Also need outdoor movies regularly. Really liked the water quality check on the pool done so diligently. Friendly staff.

There was only one functioning bathroom and 3 of the six showers said “temporarily closed”. This provided only 3 working showers for all the campers over the Labor Day weekend. Also, two of the three soap dispensers in the men’s room didn’t work. There were several tent sites which exceeded the occupancy limit near the yurts which caused more noise and congestion.

This is the second time my daughter and I have done a bike camping trip to Grandy Creek CG. We love being able to ride our bikes from our home in S-W on the Cascade trail, get burgers at Birdsview Diner, tent camp, have pancake breakfast and cool off in the pool. The staff is always so amazing and really does a great job of making things fun during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

Great place to go if you have kids. Not so great for adults trying for a quiet weekend. Disappointed to arrive early Sat evening and find there was no toilet paper in the women's bathroom and none still on Sun morning at 9 am. Trash cans were overflowing. Wish there was some shade/trees in the primitive camping areas. Overall, it was good and close to main roads.

Weirdest KOA, strict rules, not the warmest welcome; I was scared to walk too fast. FIY, you don't need to ride your brakes to drive safely. Told I *had* to sleep in my tent but was placed right by showers under floodlights. Tent pad was 1 inch of grass over concrete so I could hardly pitch my trekking pole tent. I did sleep in my car it was so bright + people walking through my site all night.

our campsite was in a field… it was so hot and had zero shade. unusable until night. It was SO HOT! the pool was nice but we went to use it at 7 and it was closed even though it was supposed to be open until dusk. the creek was lovely tho.

Completely HATE that you need to put in a bathroom code now to use the restrooms. We come there with our family for many years now and all seems to be new people running it and the bathroom codes is horrible! Trying to put in a code with toddles and a bunch of either pool or shower supplies it’s not necessary. And the soap dispensers barely work. Need to figure out better ideas for bathrooms!

The site wasn't bad my issues are with the workers and not enforcing rules. Jump pillow had kids literally fighting and wrestling. Asked worker to help stop it and they were too busy. Those teens didnt have bracelets which I paid 30 bucks for my kids to jump and they barely got to because of these teens. The rec center lady was not a people person and rude to my kids doing arts crafts.

The location and place itself is nice. Host was very friendly but the confusing part is the fees 10$/kid for the jumping pillow! I’ve never encountered this before in KOA, my expectations were that it is included in the reservation. We arrived late so actually nobody asked us to pay for it to use last 30 minutes before closing time.

Beautiful campsite, nice amenities, good hot showers, nice pool and hot tub. I love that they supply sinks for washing dishes with scrubbers and soap. Will definitely use KOA camps again!

Upon arrival, this KOA is clearly very much geared towards families with children, which we were sandwiched between two huge families with zero disregard and consideration for those around them, allowing their screaming children to be loud and obnoxious well past 11pm. Additionally there was ZERO privacy in the tent spaces. Worst KOA I’ve stayed at.

I recently drove to Alaska and was looking for a KOA close to the Canadian border. What a pleasant surprise to find Concrete/Grandy Creek. It seems a little out of way for crossing the border into Canada but I found it convenient to the border crossing in Sumas. The staff is amazing and the property is in a quiet setting and offers a lot of amenities. I stayed there again in my way home.

We were here mid-week before all the amenities were opened. It was so quiet! Just what we needed. Love all the trees and how the campsites are arranged. Be aware that there is WiFi but you have to pay for it. I don't think that was mentioned on the KOA website. It is a reasonable charge per day or weekly rate. We will be back!!
