We really enjoyed staying in the tiny Kabin. It was close to the bathroom and had plenty of room inside. We were disappointed the pool/hot tub was closed for the season, but the bathroom facilities were nice and we enjoyed being close to North Cascades National Park.

It was raining most of our stay so many things were closed but the cabin was cozy and overall it was a good time.

The delux cabin we stayed was beautiful. It was so well prepared that it made our stay memorable. The bedroom and the bunk bed were setup with linen and pillow when we arrived. The kitchenette had all the necessary stuff like utensils, dishes , cups etc and appliances like microwave, refrigerator and Oven. Overall we had a great time and thanks the staff for keeping this KOA so well maintained.

I was in yurt #4 from 8/15-8/18. We had an amazing time except for the very LARGE family (at least 25 people) staying in the neighboring yurts/campsite behind us. They were very loud during quiet hours. Friday night/Saturday morning, they were very loud, many of the parents shouting at their kids. They also (many adults and kids) walked through our site multiple times a day - VERY disruptive.

We stayed in one of the basic cabins and it was great. Felt like a camping experience without having to haul a trailer or set up a tent. Campground had great facilities, staff was helpful & friendly.

It was great in the deluxe cabin! The only issue is the ac was very loud. We were bonded about no campfire but luckily had friends with a propane fire to enjoy! Overall a great stay with lots of activities.

Most staff were friendly. However, few concerns: 1) shorthanded staff 2) inadequately cleaned bathroom and showers 3) too many inoperable showers as half were out of commission; one toilet seat was gone and another was stained with feces for most of a day! 4) was told to go 5 mph twice when in fact I was already 5)breakfast was advertised as a buffet but you had to pay for each plate used.

Staff constantly pestered us about my husband's service animal, Tried to charge messy campsite twice & say it was because of dog poop which is untrue, or they couldn't clean accidentally spilled watermelon juice from the fridge that spilled. We put all towels in the tub to make it easier to wash things they tried to charge for were ridiculous Took almost a week to respond back, store is never open

To say this stay was the worst we have had would be an understatement. Rented a cabin. Had a cracked window & was missing a window! Major yellow jacket problem that wasn’t solved. The bathrooms were disgusting!! Staff unpleasant. We’ve stayed at over 50 KOA’s across the US. This one was awful Rec room tv & DVD player broken. Dog poop everywhere. Extra $ for kids to be kids & play…-10/10 pl

The deluxe cabin was great. The kitchen has all the essentials. Very clean and well maintained! The gentleman who greeted us at the gate was very welcoming.

Great setting. Lots of things to do in camp and surrounding areas. Clean and well maintained campground, showers and bathrooms. Beautiful place, lots of trees. Friendly and helpful staff. Great swim pool, store, benches and little places to sit, .... just perfect for a group reunion!,

It wasn’t our favorite KOA experience, especially for a KOA Holiday. It seemed like many things were in disrepair, showers and restroom stalls that were out of service. The bathrooms were frequently dirty. The facilities are old and needed updating, windows with cracks in cabin. It worked well to access NCNP, but next time we would probably stay somewhere else.

Kbins were great, pool was great, Italian soda social was great. Kids loved the playground and the jump pillow. It would have been nice if pool and jump pillow had opened at 9 instead of 10. My one piece of negative feedback is that I tried to call several times leading up to our stay to ask a few questions and it took 7 tries (on different days etc) to reach someone. VM not returned. Great stay!

Pool too cold and hot tub only for adults we didn’t like. Housekeeping lady and reception person were on our case for following rules when we were only trying to find out if we could put some things at our new cabin when we changed cabins. We had a good stay but few things we didn't like 1. It was overcrowded with no sense of privacy. Our Yurts are right next to other Yurts and campsites. If we open our windows we can see them and they can see us. One of the tents was within a yard of our window. 2. Washrooms were dirty and rocks were used to prop open the doors 24hrs. I called and asked for Linens for a cabin (which $15 per bed is crazy) was told they come with towels too. There were not any bath things plus I was charged for too many. Bought the bracelets for the kids so they could use the jump pillow but my grandkids were the only ones wearing them, because it’s not monitored. The store closed earlier than what the paper work said and that meant no mini gol

The store was not open once during my two day stay. KOA employees were were not around,or at least they were not visible. Fire pits not certified, so no fires. Grounds maintenance and upkeep could use attention.

Pretty disappointed to be honest. We stayed here years back and we have nothing but great memories, this time not so much. Potential is there but next time more transparency is appreciated. Most everything is closed/ unavailable for kids Mon night- Wed. Only 1 restroom available near by with 2 young kids is hard, then to close that one is even harder. Staff is friendly when you can find one.

Our family enjoyed the comfort of our 2 bedroom cabin for 1 night at Concrete/ Grandy Creek KOA! We traveled with a baby and the included plug-in heat offered nice comfort. The cabin was clean and our campsite was upkept nicely. It was a great pitstop on our long road trip that included the North Cascades!

Absolutely disappointed in our stay. The cabin was fine but the attention to detail and customer service was lacking to say the least. There is a modified burn ban in Skagit county which means you can still have campfires. But bc a few of the fire rings didn’t meet the specs they banned campfires for EVERYONE. Maybe 5-10 pits didn’t meet. Ruined our weekend. Will not stay here again.

This was our 7th year in a row at Grandy creek with several other families we invited! It’s always a great experience but am a little disappointed when we request to have all our families cabins (6/7) next to each other, the last couple years there has been a random person placed between our group. Also, a couple of the ladies helping with Italian sodas were very unkind to us and our children.

Very nice, but it was apparent of the lack of staffing. The grass was long, the store was never open, and the pool was freezing cold. I'm sure that these were all temporary issues though.

The floors of the cabin were not cleaned before we got there. Also no one was at the ranger station for us to check in durning the hours they were supposed to be there. Grounds were well kept

The mattresses in the cabins definitely need to be cleaned on a regular basis. They were very stained and gross. There was also garbage under the bunks from previous guests. I know it's camping but it can still be clean inside the cabins. There was no propane at the bbq grill, no mini fridge like in other KOAS, and the pool was shut down...kind of disappointing for paying full price.

This is our 1st time there and we stayed in the deluxe cabin. It was like an Airbnb. Very clean! We brought too many unnecessary items since it was all there. All staff were friendly. Don’t know if I can ever go back to not having a deluxe cabin anymore :)

Yurts too small to accommodate 5 people. Incorrect information.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Fulls are described for 2 people. There is 1 twin bed on top bunk, 1 full bed on bottom bunk and the sleeper sofa folds out to a full. This totals a maximum of 5 people. This information is listed in the description and is correct.

We stayed a few weeks and really enjoyed the peacefulness of this campground. Most TT/Encore parks we travel to, you see the GM out chatting with folks or anything at all, we never once saw management. There were two employees that did consistently check in on us and I think their makes were Bryan and Kim, but don't hold me to that. Those two were great!
