The sites are close together and they see to assign sites in sequence rather than spreading people out when they are not very full. The campground is gravel and don’t seem to do anything about the dust. Also there where 2 young girls riding around in a golf cart stirring up dust.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this KOA. We love Cody WY & this location is very convenient as we go to Yellowstone. The grounds are clean on-site, and the showers & bathroom area are as well. We ended up leaving a day early due to the strong winds. We also are grateful for the refund considering we left a night early. We will return again next year. Thank you so much!

Everyday two young girls were driving around all the sites on a company golf cart,this was through out the day.Most of the time they were driving fast.I called the office and complained but that did not good.It got annoying!

Had a great sure. It was very spacious with a large trees. Our site had a fire pit and a cement patio with gazebo table and chairs. The staff were very helpful.

Older park with well established trees. Nice store to buy souvenirs. When we were trying to park the 5th wheel a gentlemen who worked at the park noticed we wouldn’t fit in our site and helped us move to another one. He was great! I do have to say the sites are over priced. Not a bad stay tho!

The campgroundwas simply fantastic. The accommodations were above the bar. The staff members made us feel like family. It made it somewhat hard to leave. We will certainly recommend this campground to family back home.

Pleasant site, clean bathrooms the only squawk is that it took too long to check in. They were unable to find my reservation by name or Koa number, finally found it by phone number. KOAs in the past have the reservation ready and the map filled out.

Very nice park, neat, clean, relatively quiet. Decent spacing between the camp sites. The only issue we had were the people in the office. Each time we were in the office they were grumpy, never saw a smile. You should know that this park is approximately 1 hour from the west gate into Yellowstone.

Only KOA that has Ever charged a dog fee and a facility fee! The place is not kept up. No one was out doing maintenance to maintain the facility. I would pick another KOA.

We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights in May 2026. We had a good stay. We had a pull through, full hookup site and the amenities were great. Water, electric and sewage were in easy hookup and in great condition...no problems. The showers and bathrooms were clean and appeared newer. Great water pressure and the water was hot! The pool was being prepped for the season so a lot of work was being done.

Our stay was great! We did not obviously spend too much time in the park, but the site we had were good! Fairly level, food water pressure, and no issues. A very short drive to town where you could find anything you’d need from great food and bars to groceries, gas and shopping. It took about one hour to reach the east entrance to Yellowstone.

Campground was excellent. However, check-in was very bad. I called and stated our arrival would be after 9 pm. Upon arrival, there was no information for us. I called the emergency line, and mailbox was full. I did see an envelope that said 40 ft, full hook-up with no name. I assumed that was our site so we finally found it and set up.

Stayed one night before heading to Yellowstone. Blake and Gail were very helpful; they made our propane fill quick and easy, helped us locate a fuel station for a safe diesel fill. Will definitely stay again!

Cody/Yelowstone East KOA is a great place to stay with easy access to Yellowstone National Park and all the activities in Cody. The campground was well-maintained with easy access to level sites. The staff were friendly, especially with the pancake breakfast! Amenities offered numerous ways to relax on days not spent riving around Yellowstone and Grand Tetons Parks.

The best KOA I've stayed at, friendly staff,and great customer service,clean bathrooms,and grounds AND FREE pancakes,the dryer malfunction and the manager immediately gave me my money back and a free dry 🤌

Phenomenal experience all around! They serve a free pancake breakfast all you can eat(sides, fruit toppings additional) every morning from 7 to 9. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Campground is lovely and maintained. Excellent reck room and laundry room. We would definitely stay here again.
