General Campground Information

Check in and Check out times

Check out is at 11am and check in is at 1pm

Speed Limit

Please observe our 10 mph speed limit.  We have a lot of children on the park who get distracted when playing outside and might not look for oncoming traffic.  We want everyone to have a safe stay here in Cody so please keep it at 10mph

Rig Size

If you have a rig larger than 40 ft we recommend only reserving deluxe sites.

Quiet Hours

Our Quiet Hours are from 10 pm to 7am.  Please be a courteous camper and observe the rules.

Camping with Pets

We welcome all non aggressive pets at the Cody KOA.  Check out our two different dog parks located at the far west end of the campground and one down by the fun zone.  We allow you to walk your dogs anywhere on the campground as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them.

Firewood

Campfires are a must on any camping trip.  Come to the office and pick up a bundle.  You can burn fires in any of the designated campfire rings.  Please do not move rings.  We do have a group campfire pit at the front of the campground if you would like to use it as well or join us at our weekly smore roast.

Towing Suggestion

If you are towing and not able to unhook, be sure to include the trailer/vehicle in the total length of the rv so you will have a long enough site.

Store Hours

From Memorial Day to Labor Day our store is open from 7am to 11pm.  So stock up on all of those gifts and camping gear.

Pool Hours

Our pool is open every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9am-10pm

Drones and Unmanned Aircraft

Due to our location to the nearby airport, the flying of drones and other unmanned aircraft is prohibited pursuant to FAA regulations

KOA Rodeo Shuttle

We offer a free shuttle to the rodeo every night from June-August.  The shuttle departs every night sharply at 7pm, so be there early.  Times do adjust during the Stampede Rodeo over the 4th of July so see front desk staff for times during July 1-4th.

Recreational Adventures Family of Fine KOA Kampgro

The Cody KOA where the Buffalo roam and the Antelope play

Jean Mickelson has called the Cody KOA home since the summer of 2001.  Along with her husband and 6 kids, camping has become a way of life for the Mickelson family.   The Cody KOA caters to families and family fun.  We believe that camping with family is where memories are made one s'more at a time.  We look forward to helping you make those lasting family memories in one of our cabins, tent sites, or rv sites.
