We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights in May 2026. We had a good stay. We had a pull through, full hookup site and the amenities were great. Water, electric and sewage were in easy hookup and in great condition...no problems. The showers and bathrooms were clean and appeared newer. Great water pressure and the water was hot! The pool was being prepped for the season so a lot of work was being done.

Our stay was great! We did not obviously spend too much time in the park, but the site we had were good! Fairly level, food water pressure, and no issues. A very short drive to town where you could find anything you’d need from great food and bars to groceries, gas and shopping. It took about one hour to reach the east entrance to Yellowstone.

The cabin was not cleaned well - spider webs and dust. The coffee maker did not work and when I called the office during the hours of operation stated on the door to let them know - I got the voice mail and never got a new pot. When I called after we left to let them know I was told we needed to go during their hours - we left early each day to go to the park so they were never open while there.

I normally don't give anything but positive comments on any review I give. But I must be honest. The terrible and overwhelming smell of septic/sewer was unbearable. It completely overwhelmed my cabin and the area around it. The Cable in my cabin did not work . A tour bus camper start up at 640am was not pleasant. The sewer smell is a health hazard! FIX IT.

Campground was excellent. However, check-in was very bad. I called and stated our arrival would be after 9 pm. Upon arrival, there was no information for us. I called the emergency line, and mailbox was full. I did see an envelope that said 40 ft, full hook-up with no name. I assumed that was our site so we finally found it and set up.

Some issues with the gas grill leaking but the attendant was prompt and switched things out for us asap ! Fun outside area, clean inside and kitchen stocked as expected

Stayed one night before heading to Yellowstone. Blake and Gail were very helpful; they made our propane fill quick and easy, helped us locate a fuel station for a safe diesel fill. Will definitely stay again!

Cody/Yelowstone East KOA is a great place to stay with easy access to Yellowstone National Park and all the activities in Cody. The campground was well-maintained with easy access to level sites. The staff were friendly, especially with the pancake breakfast! Amenities offered numerous ways to relax on days not spent riving around Yellowstone and Grand Tetons Parks.

Wonderful place to stay when visiting Cody. I am a repeat traveler and always enjoy staying here. Staff is always very helpful.Campground is very well kedt!

Our stay was fine, but the Cody KOA, crowds the campsites and campers are way too close together. Campsites have little to offer in regards to grass, patio tables, etc. that make a stay desirable. The staff is pleasant. We will probably pass this one by in the future.

Park grounds are very nice, easy to maneuver and clean. Great dog yard, it’s huge. This should be a “5”, but the staff was less than accommodating. The young lady that checked us in was very nice. The rest of the staff left us with the impression they really did not care if we were there or not. Not on our list to return.

we reserved a deluxew cabin almost 8 months in advance and we were assigned the worse deluxe cabin in the campground---small frig, no wash basin in the bathroom----the two cabons on either side of us were truly deluxe---very disappointed---jt

we used Cody as a home base for 3 weeks and loved every second of it! Got to see everything from Montana to Idaho and back! Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, good location close to many attractions. Our site was level and the utilities worked. We generally don't use campground facilities so I can't comment on those although walking around they all appeared in good shape. You could use new basketballs however.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful with great recommendations for local restaurants. The entire campground is very clean. We enjoyed a 2 night, very quiet stay!

Staff was less than friendly and site (Site 80) noisy (road traffic). Would not recommend this KOA due to proximity to main road into Cody.

The best KOA I've stayed at, friendly staff,and great customer service,clean bathrooms,and grounds AND FREE pancakes,the dryer malfunction and the manager immediately gave me my money back and a free dry 🤌

Phenomenal experience all around! They serve a free pancake breakfast all you can eat(sides, fruit toppings additional) every morning from 7 to 9. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Campground is lovely and maintained. Excellent reck room and laundry room. We would definitely stay here again.
