A few times a day, trains would honk a few times for the nearby crossing, then rattle into the distance, reminding you that nearby local dining and conveniences were close at hand but still away from the hustle and bustle. Well-maintained and clean facilities and grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. Our midweek stay was ideal for a relaxing getaway in a nice little cabin.

It was fun, kids had a blast, nice beds, Kabin was cozy and warm, used the heater the second night cause it got cold but it definitely kept us warm. We will for sure be back!

We wanted to stay at Jay Cooke, but it was full...the KOA was a reasonable alternative that allowed us to stay in the area and make use of the trails in the park. We rented a cabin...it was about the same price as a cabin at Jay Cooke, but not as nice. The space was small, the whole building was noticeably off-level, and it was crammed into a tiny space between two related RV units.

we came to KOA Cloquet/Duluth a year ago because it was more affordable than a hotel in Duluth, we where So pleasantly surprised at how much we ended up enjoying our stay, the staff where overly friendly, the bathrooms and common rooms are very clean and open 22 1/2 hours a day, the cabins are so cute and they have everything you need in case you forget something. Such a Fun Getaway!

I rented a 1 bedroom cabin for 2 nights instead of going to a hotel. Very good choice. Really enjoyed it. Everyone that worked at this location was very nice and very helpful.

They made it very easy for a check in, even though we arrived pretty late at night. The staff is very friendly and the campground was really clean.

Campground was nice, love that it was tucked away and we had a cabin tucked away. Wish game room would have been open later, we didn’t get to use it. Closed before website said it did. There was only one single bathroom if you were on far side of campground

The one suggestion I would make is to maybe put a lock on the satellite bathroom that says “occupied” or “vacant”. Twice now we have walked in on someone because the door is hard to lock and people leave the door shut even if empty. Other then that issue, we really enjoy staying at your campground!

Very nice, clean campground. Only one thing as a complaint is… K1 fan only ran when the light was on. Sleeping was a little uncomfortable. My son’s family had to sleep with the fan off or the light on since both fan and lights worked on the same switch. String to turn the light on didn’t work.

Around midnight and 5am the train woke us all up. It shook the cabin. Would not go back. Playground was tiny and cheap. $120 a night for the cabin and whole place was cheap.

Great Stay! The camper cabin was great, clean and comfortable. The fire wood was expensive. The pool, hot tub, and showers were clean and well maintained. The store had everything we needed or forgot. Our campsite was clean and quiet. There was a clean bathroom close by that also had a sink which was great!

Staff was very friendly. The washrooms and showers were very clean which was important as we were staying in one of the cabins. The downside was the cabin could use some attention. There was a large gap under the door so concern of critters getting in. The screen had duct tape on it and again concer of bugs getting in.

Really enjoyed the campground and amenities. The cabins are adorable and perfect for an easy weekend stay. Only reason we left early was because the mosquitoes were terrible.

Cabin was a little too dirty. Maybe they could spray for mosquitos. The bugs kept us from spending time outdoors in the campground. Quiet hours were not so quiet. The bathrooms were clean.

The main door didn't have the gap at the bottom completely closed. We had to use paper towels to block critters from coming in and to keep heat on for the baby we had with. Second, there is no smoke detector in the second room just a wire in the outlet box the heater in the 2nd room wouldn't stay on because there was a pressure switch duct taped, but didn't stay on. Had to wedge under it to keep

Stopped there on our way to South Dakota. We called after hours and they were able to find us a spot. Clean restrooms. We were only there long enough to sleep and left right after breakfast.

This a very clean and well kept camp ground. The staff works really hard and they are friendly. The play ground could use an upgrade or maybe add a few more items. The train is rather close and it goes by 4 times a day. First time at 6 am. Overall a really nice option close Duluth and Gordie's!
