Great campground, clean bathrooms and very private campsite. I've stayed at all of the campgrounds in the area and this is the best! Close to Duluth and Jay Cooke State Park. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

While the staff was very helpful and friendly, the park amenities were not up to our expectations for a KOA, especially at the price they charged. Very limited dump abilities and specific to our site, we were initially unable to dump due the sewer tank being full. When I opened the cap, it was under-pressure and I could tell the tank was overfull. Staff did come pump it out, but I had to ask...

Your cramp grown is extremely nice. And very clean. One comment I wanna make is your showers. Some of your shower curtains are out too far and too high. Therefore, they are definitely going to flood the floor. You might want to check that out. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The only issue was that our camp site was right under a very bright street light on the telephone pole. It lite up our site and put a damper on our campfire.

We were not greeted well and not helped except to provide a map. Showers were small cubicles with no sink or mirror. Had to get dressed and go to gender bathrooms. Old and not greatly cared for.

The campground is ok. It doesn’t appear to be maintained very well. And if you don’t want to be woke up all hours of the night don’t camp here. There is train tracks that are right next to the main building and trains go through at all hours of the night.

The site was clean and the staff was great. Bathrooms were tidy. I really appreciated the shaded areas and the nearby outhouse. Mostly quiet except for the late-night trains that roll through nearby. My neighbors tended to forget to use their "indoor voices" late at night which is frustrating. I appreciated that staff comes by and collects bagged garbage at the sites. Will stay again.

Just a quick stay overnight, so we didn’t get to use all the facilities. But the pool was being used by many Happy campers! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly, but our site #2 was overpriced. It was considered a patio site (which we had NOT requested) it had an old shelter broken step pavers & picnic table,other patios of similar price had beautiful swings and well kept. We had requested a site to use our rooftop satellite. We had to use our portable satellite instead. Level site but hookups were down a slope. Many day train

Staff were all helpful. Trees need trimming badly! We couldn’t use the sewer on our pull thru site because of low hanging tree branches. My friend couldn’t use her fire pit nor any of her site’s open space due to low hanging willow branches. One side of our fire pit was sunk halfway into the ground. WiFi did not work at site. Dog park tiny and all gravel/weeds (no grass). Buddy sites very sm

Overall the stay was so great!! they were very quick on getting us our wood when asked and kept the bathrooms clean! We only wished there was more light in the shower.

I tried to call and email and left messages that my reservation needed to be cancelled. No return calls, no return emails, they just charged me the full amount anyway. Very unprofessional.

Love the clean bathrooms. And shower stalls. I love all the beautiful rocks and white pines. It’s a very nice little campground. We will be back. Only one minor complaint: the pool had a lot of debris in it when we were swimming…

Staff are friendly, but not very knowledgeable. The bright lights in the wood tented areas seems unnecessary and made it very difficult to get any sleep. The train that roars by the campground is so loud and vibrates the ground. This should be well advertised. No sleep for two days. Hot tub is cold and pool is colder for July. Not relaxing at all. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the showers.

We chose KOA for the Hot Tub... and of course it wasn't working. Did they bother to let us know that ...NO. Also, the pool area is very unsafe!! There is a short step up at the far end of the pool as you go for seating and/or the hot tub. It is not painted yellow for people to notice. In a span of about 15 minutes, I saw two different individuals almost wipe-out on the concrete. Very UNSAFE!

Site was very tight and small for our Class A. Walking down stairs put us into the next site. We asked to be switched to a wider site, the manager said no, and did not offer any other options. The bathhouse was not the quality we are used to with KOA. Giant fans running because circulation was poor. Roads filled with water from recent rain and lots of mosquitoes. KOA should re-evaluate

Third time staying here. Our particular site had too many tree roots to safely walk around campfire,etc. otherwise it’s a very nice campground! Oh yeah, the price of a small bag of ice went up a whole dollar in 2 days…Wowzer!

Our stay was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful! We stayed in the smaller cabins on site that slept 4 people. Cabins were nice, basic needs as for a place to sleep. Had a ceiling fan inside. No ac unit but didn't need it for our stay as the temps were on the cooler side in Duluth. There were horseshoe pits on site that we did use and had a good time with that. Swimming pool was clean

We had a little confusion when ordering wood bundles. The person who dropped him off was a bit crabby. We felt like we were putting him out.

Campground is beautiful, great location. Only complaint is wish it was non smoking. We ended up having to stay inside our RV more than expected because of neighbors vaping and smoking weed at all hours.

Twice I have stayed and the hot tub was not functional. The pool is freezing cold.

If you just need an overnight stay this would be ok. There is a freight train that comes by several times daily up until 11pm. We had full hook up but found out their system wouldn’t allow anyone to flush the tanks. The sites are very close together & without any shade. The hot tub was broken. All that being said the staff were very nice & friendly.

This is not a bad campground. The sites are very tight and close together. The sewer sights are pretty much in the sun. Had to choose a sight with no sewer to even have some shade but very narrow to get camper to fit. They don't mention the train that passes near campground all hours of the day and night blowing it's whistle. Also found laundry to be quite costly. Have seen others for less or free

The park was clean , however the internet wifi signal was not good at our site , we couldn’t use the Wifi. It would be nice to have used internet during our stay.

Minutes away from Jay Cooke State Park, and most services a person may need. Campground was clean and comfortable. Best showers yet at any of the KOA's I have been to.

The place was very accommodating Bill his son Bobby, his mother and their staff were great. The cabins were clean. The pool area was small, but it did the job. We all had a great time ice cream, social and a hayride on Saturday. We had a lot of fun hope to have our end of the year trip with you next year 2027.
