Pet-friendly KOA-- I've been coming for years to attend a canine agility event in the area. Staff is friendly and very responsive to requests. My only gripe-- I wish they would spend more time trimming trees-- dead limbs hanging over my camp site and limbs too low for tall RVs.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The Hot tub was closed and the pool was cold and cloudy. Our tent site had a very bright light over it so it was never dark, even in our tent. There was a large family reunion at the campsite who were up late being very loud. We left for the day on Saturday and found that someone had taken all of our firewood that we had purchased. Very responsive to questions and concerns. Campground is clean and well maintained. Lots to do and see in the local area. Enjoyed our stay.

We haven't gone camping in years and decided to try it again. This KOA was very nice. Clean, quiet, and staff very helpful. Planning on coming back.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. The events were great for the family. The site we had was spaced out from others well, but was really poor quality ground for tents. The entire site is Stony/rocky which made for a less than desirable setup challenge for a site that costs what it does each day. Would really like to see some shade grass, or a sand pad, in that spot to make it more viable.

No AC! Fans don't help! SD state parks have AC and heat so we were disappointed. The water spigot was in the front of our cabin and the ground always was wet as K3 sprayed it all over. No real parking space for K1.

We enjoyed the stay, it worked well for us. However, with no sewer, we feel it should be a bit less for a night. The campsite was nice and spacious. Our water hookup had a leak, which we let the office know about, so they can fix it. But we like this campground, it works well when we want to see family in the area!

The bathrooms and grounds were clean. Our sons appreciated how deep the pool was which was also clean. The staff were helpful and good at what they do. We were glad to have chosen this place to come back to after our daytime adventures.

Even though no one has control over the lovely Minnesota weather, it rained most of the weekend. 1st site we were at woke up to 6 inches of standing water then got moved to another site that was better but still 2-3 inches of standing water all weekend. Definitely not ideal with 2 young kids and a dog. I would come back in July/August, Duluth is so unpredictable in May.

Nice campground,but rain made it hard to be outside. There was a pond in front of our rv. Couldn't start a fire at the pit. Also the train made it hard to sleep.

Very nice and accommodating staff. The trains were loud overnight but that's expected at this particular camp site.

Very clean facilities and fun events for the family. The biggest issue we ran into was our location. We were originally put on a larger site but the campers next to us made it impossible for us to set up our tent, so we were placed in the smallest tent site on the property instead. The original site was left open and another larger site was only used for parking. Very disappointed.

Highly disappointed!! Altho the weather wasn’t the owners fault , when we tried to step around the mud and the rain we were scolded for going on their property , which we weren’t doing , just trying to find dry rocks to walk across , we were in a terrible spot , extremely muddy and wet , pool wasn’t open except maybe two hours the whole weekend , and the train was loud and annoying !! This rating is for this stay only normally it’s excellent. This time we were put next to playground kids and balls hitting trailer. Site was totally flooded and wouldn’t dry out fire pit unusable was flooded all around. Site 18 sits on a drainage hole where water just sits.

Small campground but friendly staff. The only negative were all the trains especially at night.

The campground is extremely clean, especially the showers; staff are pleasant and helpful. The only downside is that the camp is located right next to railroad tracks with a signaled road crossing also very close; the train is required to blow its horn very loudly every time it crosses the road (approximately 3-4 times per day and at least once in the middle of the night).

Bill and the staff were so kind getting us squared away when I messed up our reservation! Location is on a dead end road and very quiet, but easily accessible from the highway.

Staff was very friendly. Internet speeds were awesome. Camp site was clean and nice. Showers were great and bathroom was clean. Was a great stay!! Only downside was i wish there was a commons area to work on stuff

Only issue was the train nearby at night. No control over that though. Campground was really nice, very well maintained, very clean! People were very nice and helpful!

Very friendly staff, and our camping cabin was very clean and welcoming. Bathrooms were well-sanitized, including the satellite location. We will be back!

Have stayed in several KOA's. This is one of the best. Staff was VERY friendly (didn't appreciate the guy with a cigarette in his mouth all of the time though). Staff helped us to our site and get the unit set up. Early in the summer so outdoor pool water was still pretty chilly. Campground is very clean with all types of sites. Plenty of room for our long 5th wheel. Saturday evening ice cream social and hayride were nice touches. Plenty of games that you can check out free of charge. Dog "park" was just a trail in the woods. Looked like a dumping ground for junk from the campground. Not impressed. Very modern and clean bathrooms and showers. Didn't try the hot tub but it certainly looked inviting. Campground is close to Duluth and other areas to visit. Staff was helpful in planning where to go. Signage to get to campground needs improvement though. They had a bear seen in the campground the day before we got there so keeping your trash picked up was highly stressed. He never came back though. Bring mosquito spray as they were bad due to the rain and wet ground. Overall great experience. We plan on going back again.

They take great care of their guests. We were a little concerned since we had a site without sewer hookup, and we were booked for several nights. They even pump out your waste tanks if needed in your site! Truly above and beyond.

The owners keep this campground very clean and maintained. I was impressed at how clean the bathrooms and showers were. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I felt they went above and beyond for our family. Would definitely stay again!
