After long days on the road, we like KOAs. This one was fine And friendly, clean showers. I don’t give it a 5 star due to its location next to very loud trains going all hours. It could use more crushed rock at pill thru sites. It had rained a lot and our site was a little muddy. Other than that it was fine.

This is a very nice, clean and quiet family run campground. We have stayed at this campground before and we enjoyed it every time we stayed.

Nice park long pull thru sites. 20 minutes from Duluth. Only drawback not all sites have Sewer but they will come to your site and you can dump, it’s free.

Not really for larger units. We could not put out one of slides due to trees. Very limited access for larger units to make it in and out of the campground.

The hidden gem. This property is absolutely one of my favorite campsites in KOA. The workers wer very friendly and professional. My campsite was hidden in the woods keeping the trailer nice and cool. They have a clean pool and a Jacuzzi. I will definately come back to this place.

No more than 30 minutes after checking in my son stepped in dog poop with his baseball cleats, in between games while we checked in to set up our tent. Not pleased AT ALL, as I would assume all measures are taken to clean campsites of dog poop. I complained to the desk people, but nothing was done about it… they never even came to clean it up! Very disappointed

It’s a tight entrance from the “parking area” to the sites. Sites are VERY close to each other. It looks a bit run down. Don’t really understand why KOA is so expensive. It was difficult finding other options in the area, but next time I’ll look harder.

A bit on the rustic side for a KOA but staff was great and amenities were in line with a KOA.

We stayed here 3 years ago and the improvements since are very evident. This is really nice to stay as a base for visiting Duluth and the North shore or just hanging by the pool. The staff is friendly and care about the campground.

A quick stop for the night. Reservation and check were simple and accurate. Staff was cordial and friendly. Facilities were clean and in good repair.0

We were disappointed with the sites. We had full hookup & drive-thru sites. The site we got we had to share w/ someone we didn't know. We booked this stay with our in-laws & wanted to be together. These half sites would have worked w/our camping buddies, but we ended up with strangers w/big dogs that took up 2/3 of site. They wouldn't change our sites either. Wifi never worked. Wouldn't go back

Staff was helpful and friendly. Everything at the campsite worked. We enjoyed our four days. We would stay here again if the need arises.

The first cabin we checked into the lock didn't work. Thankfully we were able to move to another cabin. The 2nd cabin had a huge gap next to the lock that we could see through through so at night we stuffed it with tissue for privacy. The mattress is not very comfortable. Just think the cabins could use some upkeep. The staff was very friendly & helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The employees were all extremely nice and helpful.

Made traveling with two Siberian Husky show dogs very easy. I could keep them clean when intermittent storms rolled through . Enclosed dog park is a nice touch. Wifi appreciated! My neighbors were considerate and it was fun to walk my dogs through the campground to receive admiring looks~ for them!!!!

Its a nice park. 2nd time we've been there. The staff were helpful and accomodating. Nice woods. Cloquet is not far away and is a nice town. Only drawbacks were the trains run by at night and blow their horns. 2 or 3 a night. Not many on weekends. The sites where we stayed were really close to each other. Otherwise we enjoyed the park very much and would go back.

It was okay. Sites are really small. When I arrived someone else was using the plug I needed for power. The campground provided an adapter but later told me they needed the 50amp plug for another camper. Which is fine, they need to tell people to use the correct plugs to begin with then or atleast provide sufficient hookups as advertised. Lots of rules. Nothing too restrictive

Its a very nice campground clean and organization the people who work there are very nice.the bathrooms and showers are clean too. We will be back the swim pool and hot tub are nice too

I cannot believe this is a KOA! If corporate could interview myself, the gentlemen that are VIP KOA members and other where Barb screamed at, and could see your pool, abuse of guests and lack of cleanliness , they would be appalled! Check my GMB reviews, I like to give 5 Stars but this was a disaster! When kids are scared of the people in yellow shirts you know something is wrong. KOA corporate.

Staff was very friendly and bathrooms and showers are some of the cleanest I have seen. We did have a site where power and water were on the wrong side but the front desk happily loaned us an extension power cable.

The camp staff were excellent. The dog park needs an upgrade and the campsites are relatively small but our site # 66 was how the rest of them should be. We did have a great time.

As a full-time RV'er for a few years now, I’ve stayed at many KOAs in the US and Canada... this one is average at best. The real issue is the staff, who seem more focused on enforcing strict rules than hospitality or any kind of positive guest experience. One guest called them the “Gestapo.” I won’t return, and I’ll be warning others. If you have to stay here, avoid the yellow shirts.

Minutes away from Jay Cooke State Park, and most services a person may need. Campground was clean and comfortable. Best showers yet at any of the KOA's I have been to.

The place was very accommodating Bill his son Bobby, his mother and their staff were great. The cabins were clean. The pool area was small, but it did the job. We all had a great time ice cream, social and a hayride on Saturday. We had a lot of fun hope to have our end of the year trip with you next year 2027.
