We enjoyed our stay very much. The facilities were clean and the only issue we had was a loss of cable TV stations after the second day.

We love the family and pet friendly atmosphere. They welcomed us with our name on the board at check in which was a nice touch. Nothing was terrible but the trash on the road when you pull in doesn’t make a first impression, the dumpsters were overflowing and there were weeds growing up through our pull through site patio. It was our first time in a KOA. We had a great time. Staff, though very busy, were always helpful and polite. We had mixup with our last day, but Staff quickly took care of the problem. Lots of room for getting in and out. Nice gift shop! Would definitely recommend to others. Debbie & Tom Thompson

They need to have more maintenance people during the day. Went to the back washrooms and no toilet paper in any of the 3 restrooms, garbage cans only seem to get emptied every other day, they were always overflowing. But bb otherwise a nice place.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Sites roomy but need of maintenance. The picnic tables were all in bad shape and weeds were very high around all the hookups... very hard to find sewer drop.

We have stayed here before, 6 years ago. Loved it. This time, however, the staff did not seem very excited to be there. I had to clean out a large wad of pet hair from one of the washers before I could put my clothes in and a small sock balled up in the washer filter area. Nice roomy site away from traffic noise. Nice patio site. Great staff. Visited Carlsbad Caverns and Calsbad museum. A bit longer drive but visited Guadalupe Mts national park.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the porch, store, activity room etc. Restrooms/showers were very clean. Wi-fi service was very poor and our swing (E9) was crooked/unusable, but all else was very good. Loved the space between sites! Will definitely recommend this KOA and hope to stay again.

This campground was very good. It was quiet. The staff was very nice and very helpful.it was very accommodating. I would stay there again.

Unfortunately the issues with the Carlsbad KOA are mostly beyond their control. The daily wind warnings made it very uncomfortable to be outside. The water is horrible due to hardness. We understand there’s nothing that can be done about either but I would not recommend this KOA

Overall a good KOA. Clean, well kept property run by very nice staff. Laundry room very good. Only issue was Wi-Fi was less than desirable. Maybe tell folks no streaming or movie watching? We couldn't even check the weather on our phones due to the problem. Still, all the positives about this campground clearly outweigh this one negative.

Had to use as a last minute stay. Staff was extremely friendly and found a way to help us as we had a unique situation. Each RV site had a nice camp fire set up and the bathrooms were extremely clean and warm. Important detail as it was pretty cold the night we stayed.

We were very happy with this campground. They had a wonderful rec room with a big TV. Foosball , darts , large connect four game, outdoor size checkerboard /chessboard. Lots to do.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. The showers/bathrooms were clean and the office/grounds staff were great! The sites were well kept and a nice size. There were several trails off the property that we were able to utilize while there also. It is conveniently located between Carlsbad and Roswell and several other locations for hiking. Very dog friendly and the dog parks were great!

Shower was dirty. The pool area was dirty and unkempt. Pools are not open in the area yet but it doesn’t mean the area should be dirty. I don’t know where they got 13 miles from Carlsbad. It’s 20! When I search for a KOA by where I am I expect it to be in the area! Not 20 miles out of town. The judges who thought this was award winning should be fired.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Grounds are well kept and clean. We experienced a severe wind storm and didn’t know if we could travel safely the next day. The staff checked and I was able to reserve my site just in case, thankfully we did not need it.

The campground had nice amenities and the view of the city at night and daybreak was beautiful. Scenery good too. However, the bathrooms had not been cleaned in the evening or early morning. And we arrived after the scheduled cleaning time. Perhaps it was due to the recent dust storm, but not sure how all the dust was getting all over the sinks and counter.

The bathrooms were clean, laundry was convenient, and the employees were friendly. We tented a tent spot with electricity and water. The location was right on the entrance. You could hear cars coming in and out all night. That was our only downfall. An area to do dishes will be a great addition. We will definitely be back.
