Nice place, clean and far enough out of town to be away from city noise.

Outstanding service. Kept us informed on the improvements. Huge, level sites. You are not on top of your neighbors. Walked us thru a cold snap, lows in the 20s. Told us about the high calcium in the water and what to do about it.

1st & foremost we visited in the off season of winter- cabin was cozy & warm. Plus points A distance out of town which is nice! Bathrooms/shower combo are super limited for a total of 3. Maybe an issue during the season. Would have liked to see at least a mini frig for the price point (even off season 1 night stay would pay for it) and a mattress cover. Great for summer w/ kids!! Staff nice

It could be a nice location if maintained and run better. The gravel site was mostly level with FHUs. However, the bathrooms were not clean and had non-functioning faucets. And there was no hot water, so no showers. We would have appreciated being told that at check-in. We choose KOA for the amenities, but deserved a refund for this location.

I always stay in a cabin and arrive late, it is dark. The area in front of "Poni" and "Lobo" is very dark so you have to go up to the doors to see the names and know which one is assigned to you. It would be very helpful if the cabin light outside is turned on (it was not on my last visit). Also, I know it's very dusty there but the cabin could have been cleaner.

Looks better on picture than in person. Gopher holes everywhere. No hot water(30 year old boiler) in one shower cabin, frozen pipes in the other. Campground not outfitted for weather. Black mold in the bathrooms due to poor ventilation. No heat in the bathrooms either. No wash bay of any kind for boats, utvs or vehicles but they are on the lake. Hmmm? Management has ties with trashy residents.

Clean showers, friendly staff, lots of room to roam and play. Thank you!

Stayed in a cabin for the first time, normally we have a 5th wheel. Way way overpriced, ceiling fan and windows very dirty, heaters could not keep it warm. Very disappointed. For $155 a night we could have stayed at a very nice motel. I guess this is why we 5th wheel.

Our short stay of two days was great. Easy check in. The place is clean and even had a kitchen that fix meals and deliver to your site. Stayed in Janurary 2024, had a 5th wheel.

Very nice set up. Sites were clearly marked, level and very spacious. They had all of the amenities that you would need including propane. Friendly staff. Nice place to stay over for the night.

The site was ok , for the RV. The picnic tables need to be replaced even putting a cloth on them. They’re warped and splinters everywhere. The main bathhouse looked really nice but we could not use the showers because they said the boilers were three months to be ordered. So they did have three other bathrooms one not working the two that were working were filthy dirty and had black mold all ov

Showers need up date.

Stayed 3 nights in our motor home with tow vehicle. Pull through site was level and service utilities in very good condition. We used laundry facilities which were clean. Location is midway between Carlsbad and Artesia, very close to Brantley Lake State Park. We visited Carlsbad Caverns and both cities. Staff was helpful and courteous. Only drawback is the entire park is gravel and dusty.

Staff was not ready with our welcome packet. But that wasn’t a huge issue. Sites were nice. Bathrooms were full of black mold on the ceilings and walls, which was gross and is bad for health. Floors bubbling up in bathrooms. Needs to be remediated.

Nice receptionist. The shower was hot…..yay!!! They have a small guest food service that will deliver meals. Great place for our dogs too.

The park was nice and clean. Checking in after dark had some difficulties locating the bathroom. There is no outside lighting on the back side of the office where the bathrooms are located. There are lights but they weren’t turned on or maybe the bulbs needed replacing. I was unable to let the office know due to us leaving and returning to the park before and after office hours.

Good spot, even met a family friend I hadn't seen since childhood here - small world!

We had an amazing stay at KOA Holiday campsite! Traveling with our kids and dog was a breeze, thanks to the excellent facilities, including convenient laundry options and dedicated dog parks. Outstanding customer service. The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Guadalupe Mountain Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell, and Sitting Bull Falls. High recommend!

No hot water in the main showers. Only two of the three auxiliary showers worked. Place is clean.

Although it's very windy, you can see a lot of stars here! Really a lot! And I like the unisex restroom.

It was our overnight stay to and from Big Bend National Park during Christmas break. Easy peasy check in after a long day of driving. Camper set up is easy due to level sites. Bathroom/showers were clean. Kids loved playing with the outside checkers and chess games! 10 out of 10!

I liked it!

This is absolutely the best KOA Campground we have stayed in. The grounds are well maintained. The staff are super friendly. The bathrooms/showers are private and unisex and very clean. The heater was already on this morning when I went to shower. That was a big plus. The showers are full size and have great water pressure. At night, the view of Las Cruces down below all lit up was amazing.

The staff was amazing. The property was very well kept. I couldn’t say anything better. I will definitely stay the next time. I’m out west.

We had a great time at the Carlsbad KOA. Our family loved the stay. We forgot s’more supplies and they were stocked up! I wish there was a change machine in the laundry facility because I didn’t make it to the office in time to make change for the washing machines and was out of luck. That’s a me issue though and not a them issue. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great sta

The smaller shower building was recommended to us, but it had no heat. It was far too cold for us to shower in that building. The other showers/bathrooms were very nice. The staff was a little short with us, but over all, this was a good place to stay.

Washrooms have no hot water in peak winter. Water pressure in tops is very low. Toilets are not clean. But other facilities are good like kids play area and game room, fire pit and bbq grill.

This was my first time at a KOA and I loved it! The bathrooms and showers were clean and had plenty of hot water.

It was a nice property. I had paid extra for what I thought would be a wooden swing but didn’t get that. There was also no hot water for both men and women.

We were there over Xmas and had only good experiences. The facilities were excellent and above most that we have seen elsewhere All staff, especially Julie, were very helpful and friendly

Not sure about this place, we camped twice a couple of weeks apart and only saw staff once, 10 mins before closing. Never saw another soul, we only stayed the night but it was clean and efficient. The trains were really close however and very noisy

Everyone was extremely gracious and kind. We typically stay at state parks and enjoy the space between campsites. Many KOA campgrounds do not have a lot of space between sites but yours did! Thank you so much for allowing that extra space between campers.

Great campground! Super nice staff. Already had Christmas decorations out which added to the Christmas sprit!

Overall vary nice! Back shower were dated and needed fresh caulking and paint. This location was a good distance from Hwy. would return in the future.

Would like to see you guys spray a little water on the roads when grading them to cut back on all the dust created. Food was great and the check in staff was super. Would like to get a rebate when leaving early in the morning of departure to offset any early arrival fees.

No hot water in showers. Sewers were pressure-positive, expelling stink into our hose/trailer, and all over the campground. We would not stay here again. HOWEVER, the 1 mile road adjacent to the dog walk leads to the lake, and was a beautiful offroad destination!

Traveling west we stayed two nights and visited Sitting Bull falls while in Carlsbad.
