Camp itself is nice, but the pleasure is spoiled by the choice of the camp to use an above ground septic treatment pond immediately next to the campground. Very unpleasant odors permeate the campsite when the air is still or the breeze blows over the ses pool into the campsite.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went over the top for any requests we made. Trash pickup every morning saves trips to the dumpster and food delivery to your camper door leaves you spoiled. The camping area was quiet and safe. The facilities were clean. This campground made for an excellent home for our three week adventure in the area.

It's located just where we needed to be for various excursions. We came off season, so there was no grass or leaves on many if the trees, but the park was clean and well-run. Spaces for RV's are nice & roomy-you're not right on top of your neighbor. Water presure was outstanding at the RV site, & my husband's comment about the showers was that of all the KOA's we've been to - the BEST showers!

The campground is very clean and the staff was awesome. We stayed for 2 night. It was very quiet and peaceful. Good water pressure for the RV. They did offer some food at the main building in the evening, which was great! There was a pool, but was still closed for the winter. The bathrooms n showers were pretty clean with great water pressure, although the floors could do with a good scrub.

All the toilets got plugged up and overflowed with sewage on the morning of Sunday April 12, 2026. That was a problem. We basically paid $ for bathrooms and a place to park, and had no bathrooms.

It was a quick trip to see the Cavern. The place was very clean and the staff VERY friendly. Only fuss was no SMOKED meat available as their smoker had broke and not been replaced yet. Also, the ladies bathroom in the morning was all clogged and couldn't be used.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi wasn't working and the satellite channels didn't work either. The showers were nice and hot, and the water pressure was good also. Some of the extended stay spots were junkie and not kept to the same standards as the overnight spots.

Men’s room plumbing was having issues while we were there but otherwise everything was very nice. There are two facilities for restrooms so wasn’t a big issue. Showers were clean and sites were nicely dusted. Very convenient to Sitting Bull falls and Carlsbad Caverns. And the sunset !!!!!!!

Very disappointed, worse KOA experience I’ve had. Very rude staff in office. The bathrooms were very dirty. Flooding in bathroom and showers. Dog poop all over the pet areas. It made me rethink staying at KOA camp sites. Sad how such a bad experience at one campground can change my feeling about staying at a KOA campground.

I was walking my dog on leash to the dog park. A pit bull burst under the hole in the fence attacking me and my dog. This was an employee dog. I had to go to the ER after taking my dog to the vet. All we got was our refund. And couldn't get the points back.

Everyone was very gracious and welcoming to this campground. Laundry and bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. Campground was very quiet and pleasant. Thanks for a great visit!

Dusty and dead grass. No hard surfaces to drive or park on. Parking was gravel, but pretty level. Great folks and they do the best they can with what they have. Our spot was heavily littered with cigarette butts, which we picked up.

Nice camping spots. Had a sewer issue when I was there so I could not use the shower but they did have one bathroom available.

The bathrooms were disgusting! Dirty sinks, toilets & skanky smelling showers! Quiet time is after 10pm & I was warned about no barking dogs. Apparently that only applies to guests as one of the staff who live there have 2 dogs that bark constantly at everything & after 10pm as well. I won’t go back.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean though unavailable our last night. We were disappointed to learn the pool was closed until May.

The personnel are very nice but my registration was less than amicable. I asked for a site with any kind of shade and not to be placed near a road. I received neither. Evidently, the limited shade is reserved for big RVs. The flimsy excuse for my space being right by a road is as it was “not a frequented road”. Amenities were clean but in need of improvements.

Friendly staff, spacious sites, good laundry. Staff didn’t care that the gate latches didn’t hold the gates closed. No poop bags available in dispensers.

RV park was run down. Not the quality expected for a Holiday. Dog park never had poop bags. We have our own bags. Goat heads and sticker weeds that hurt our dogs feet. Sites were level and the office workers were nice.

Had a good time. There were some teen boys who were causing issues after quiet hours. The site was good. The trash dumpsters were full and there were bags and trash around the dumpsters. But we had a good time.

First, the positives: to Kat in the office, thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality displayed during check in. You made the stay very nice. We appreciate you! The overall campground is pretty clean and has nice large open spots for an RV stay. The dog park was enclosed with a fence and the playground was fun for the kids. Overall a nice, quiet campground. Additionally, when I called to let them know we were coming in early we were allowed to park in the overflow area until our site opened up. On the cons, the drinking was disgusting. So, plan accordingly if you come out. The location is much further than expected from the Caverns(although I should have looked at this closer in my planning) about an hour away. The pool was not open and did not plan to open until after Memorial Day although it was already super hot out.

Quiet, it is quiet at night and I like it. Standard rock pull through with 50amp, water & sewer. Shade tree at my site. Cable is available as is WiFi at no charge. Pool, kitchen and club house. I was greeted kindly with a smile and a good attitude. If we are back this way I'd definitely stay again.
