The pool and koi pond were both fairly nasty looking. They don't open the pool until a little later in the sthan the time of year than our stay, but with the way it looked, I would question whether it had been maintained the previous season also. We had a very bright street light on the edge of our RV site, and it ended up being outside of our bedroom window. Other than that, it was a great stay

This an older KOA, however the pull through sites are nice & level. All are plenty long enough for 40' + Class As w/ a dinghy. Wide grassy areas between sites. Arrived in a prolonged rainstorm & there was good drainage of our site. There is a great Cafe on site, they cook your meals to order & will schedule delivery to your site!

Nice Campground, Easy parking (pull through spots), nice sized spots. Staff was very friendly. (unfortunately the pool was not open, due to needing repairs). Liked how they came and picked up Trash bags at campsites every morning.

Spent two nights in April. Check in was welcoming. Site was clean and plenty large enough for our 35ft class A and toad. Showers were clean. Enjoyed our stay and would return.

Level pads, quiet, space between rigs, but....this is second time we've stayed, and their 'restaurant' closed both times. This time they gave us menu when we checked in, but later that day when we called to order, they said they were closed for the day....it was 4 pm. .

It’s the 1st KOA I’ve stayed at that doesn’t offer free coffee to the guests in the morning! They do offer coffee, but it’s $2.00 a cup. The grounds are barren with a few young trees scattered around.

I wasn’t happy about the Wi-Fi. Shouldn’t advertise Wi-Fi. It was so spotty and poor, it was down most of the time. Couldn’t even get it in laundry room. Tried office and rec room with no success. Woman at desk was no help.The other thing that bothered me was cable TV. Brochure stated around 30 stations. I got four, all major networks. Unhooked cable and got more stations via antenna.

Very nice facilities, clean and organized. I was impressed with how much there is to do with children here. Such a nice game room. The laundry facilities were amazing. Very nice and front loading washers with great dryers as well. I loved the fact that you only needed to put a quarter in at a time for 5 minutes of drying so that was very economical.

I know the pool doesn’t open until May but it looks disgusting and could at least be cleaned up around it. It doesn’t look like it hasn’t been open in a long time.

I am a travel Nurse and stayed at this KOA for 6 months. The whole team was very helpful anytime I needed anything, I always felt safe and the location was always clean. I will definitely be back if my career takes me back to carlsbad.

Park was nice and clean. Staff was very helpful. My only complaint is that when we called to book a reservation, we were told only family sites were available for the days we needed, which was double the price. When I booked online, there were other sites available that were less expensive and not family sites. It made me feel as though they were trying to either upsale us or get us to not book.

Enjoyed the "buddy campsite" for our 2 family caravan. Would have liked the pool to be open with the youngsters we had with us. KOA is not very near Carlsbad Caverns, but offers a good option for RVers.

Sites were spacious, entire place needs some attention. Many picnic tables not useable/broken (including ours), pool looks like it hasn’t been open in a long long time. Check in gal could hardly be bothered. Campground is way out of town which is fine but they don’t really tell you that.

Nice, wide sites, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. We loved the on-site food kitchen. We ordered dinner one night and found the food to be tasty and reasonably priced. They even delivered it right to our trailer. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great 2 day stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The park was clean and there are a lot of amenities, especially if you are bringing the kiddos. Also we could fill our propane on-site, very convenient.

Easy in and out. Staff were great. Clean facility. Used laundry facilities and they were fine but covered area you have to enter building was unlit and walking onto gravel wasn’t nice to negotiate . WiFi was useless . Quiet and Clean overall.

First, the positives: to Kat in the office, thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality displayed during check in. You made the stay very nice. We appreciate you! The overall campground is pretty clean and has nice large open spots for an RV stay. The dog park was enclosed with a fence and the playground was fun for the kids. Overall a nice, quiet campground. Additionally, when I called to let them know we were coming in early we were allowed to park in the overflow area until our site opened up. On the cons, the drinking was disgusting. So, plan accordingly if you come out. The location is much further than expected from the Caverns(although I should have looked at this closer in my planning) about an hour away. The pool was not open and did not plan to open until after Memorial Day although it was already super hot out.

Quiet, it is quiet at night and I like it. Standard rock pull through with 50amp, water & sewer. Shade tree at my site. Cable is available as is WiFi at no charge. Pool, kitchen and club house. I was greeted kindly with a smile and a good attitude. If we are back this way I'd definitely stay again.
