Really enjoyed our time at the Carlsbad Koa. The restroom/shower facilities were very clean. The campground as a whole was clean and pleasant

We were told the park was sold out and placed on a site that was $22 per night more than a site 12 feet away. When I spoke with the woman on the phone, Dawn, and made the reservation she must have entered it online. I DID NOT make it online. I was told I did repeatedly. And that online we didn't get to choose a site, so no choice, but then they did move us. Left a bad taste to start. Pool closed.

Needs updating. Gravel is 50 percent dirt, so rainy days would be muddy. Bathrooms need maintenance. Lights and fans don't work in some of the bathrooms. The toilet bowls were stained. Door handles to one of the bathrooms was broken. Not sure why KOA charges more than other RV parks in the area. A positive was the friendly staff

Very nice campground. Great dog park. Especially enjoyed the food available for delivery from the campground restaurant.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Park was well cared for and clean. 2 negatives, pads and roads are not paved and very dusty. This dust gets tracked in plus blown in due to the high winds constantly blowing.

Only at campground for 1 night, and we were a late arrival. Staff was accommodating to put our 2 sites together. Campground and restrooms were clean but no hot water in the morning for a shower. Facility had a pool but it was unusable. Still, overall a good experience.

We stayed 6 days here, this is a very neglected KOA. The last two rows of campers looked terribly neglected and need to be addressed! The pool literally looked like it hasn’t been opened in years. Fish pond also. The only good thing about our time here was Caverns although far away. The delivery of food on site Was a must seen that it was 30 min to town. This was a very disappointing KOA.

Graded dusty gravel drives every day Bathrooms were spotless but poorly designed—2 small hooks in shower; fixed shelf too close to shower get everything wet; no curtain to stop cold breeze or overspray. Communal sink has no place to hold shaving kit. Lovely to look at but awful to use.

Great place to stay during our short trip to Carlsbad. The sites were nice, and our fur babies LOVED the fenced in dog area where they could be leash free for short times. The best surprise was the on-site grill restaurant that also delivered right to our campsite!! Everyone here was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this KOA as a great place to stay.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Park is clean. Pool was not open but looked like it had not been in a long time. Bathrooms in the middle of the park need the door handles fixed. Overall good stay.

Perfect location for seeing sights! I can see why they are number one in New Mexico! The sites are clean, staff is super friendly and helpful, and they even deliver food to your camper. We had delicious brisket sandwiches and fantastic potato salad. The shower houses could use some improvement, but still usable. They need a vent for steam, as well. Great laundry room!

A bit suprised by the early check in fee. Was aware of late checkout but unaware of early checkin especialy since the park was less than near capacity.

We enjoyed staying at this KOA for a few days. The staff was friendly and we really liked the kitchen and being able to order dinner each night! The sites were flat and had good amount of room. Our dogs enjoyed the K9 camp as well. The only area that needs a bit of improvement is the bathrooms, they were old and need some updating.

Nice level sites, helpful and friendly staff. Minor hiccup that we tried to order a meal shortly after 6 pm from the onsite restaurant which closed at 7 and were told no more orders could be served because the cook was out delivering a previous order and there was no one else to assist her. Other than that minor issue everything else was great! Our first stay at a KOA.

We only stayed overnight but the staff was very friendly, campground ground was clean, complimentary pancake breakfast, and we got cookies when we arrived! It was great!

Very disappointing stay. Positives were clean bathrooms and the BBQ food was good. Negatives: WiFi not working, overall impression of a neglected facility. During check in it felt like a script was bein read. Difficult to understand how this is a “holiday” level KOA.

Chose this KOA for safety and as a jumping off point for the Carlsbad Caverns and other area attractions. Showers were clean and plenty of hot water. Our site was gravel and close to level. We had full hookups and everything worked as expected.

Quiet, clean, large pull through spots. It has a dog park, store and restaurant with a limited menu on site. They will even deliver to you. The park bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The laundry has 9 washers and 8 dryers. Some of the washers were out of order and needed repair. We would definitely stay here again!

First, the positives: to Kat in the office, thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality displayed during check in. You made the stay very nice. We appreciate you! The overall campground is pretty clean and has nice large open spots for an RV stay. The dog park was enclosed with a fence and the playground was fun for the kids. Overall a nice, quiet campground. Additionally, when I called to let them know we were coming in early we were allowed to park in the overflow area until our site opened up. On the cons, the drinking was disgusting. So, plan accordingly if you come out. The location is much further than expected from the Caverns(although I should have looked at this closer in my planning) about an hour away. The pool was not open and did not plan to open until after Memorial Day although it was already super hot out.

Quiet, it is quiet at night and I like it. Standard rock pull through with 50amp, water & sewer. Shade tree at my site. Cable is available as is WiFi at no charge. Pool, kitchen and club house. I was greeted kindly with a smile and a good attitude. If we are back this way I'd definitely stay again.
