Other than being a little far out of town. This campground is very well taken care of and nicley layed out. The lots are spaciouse and well spaced out. We had a delux with a patio area that was covered with a swing. Had freinds joining us and were parked next to us so convinient for cooking and socializing.

Stayed there 2 days, the sites were large and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a very nice park. People were amazing, and we had a great RV site. Will definitely visit again.

The campground is nicely maintained and the sites are spaced well. We loved our stamped concrete patio with table & chairs and glider. Area was very quiet. Our only complaint was the water - the taste was terrible and when tested it was too high in particles. We even filtered it and still could not drink it or use for cooking.

This campground is just not equal to other KOA's we have stayed in. Check in was not real friendly, knew nothing about area. Grounds were unkept and staff looked unprofessional. We will not recommend or stay here again.

It was ok - the one thing that needs to be addressed is the very weak WiFi! We have a booster and could not improve the weak signal!

The park is a desert setting, dry and dusty, and you can take a bit of the old west with you. Site B4 was level, no trees if you like lots of sun, which we do. All utilities worked well, 5G WIFI worked excellent with Win 11. 2G WIFI would drop out constantly with Win 10, unusable. KOA was our desert base camp while we went out in the day to explore the region and caverns.

Very nice, quiet, clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There are a few trees that have died and need replanting.

Had premium site BBQ was so dirty it was not usable. Weeds everywhere swing was old and chairs were bent. Dog run was more of a sticker park I would not stay here again and too far out of town

The cable was terrible so snowy couldn't watch TV. WiFi was non existent. Could never hook up to it

In town to see the Carlsbad Caverns & Sitting Bull Falls...both not to be missed. Campground is 25 minutes north of city. NOTHING nearby. Very few things to do in the city or at the campground. Pool closed despite 90+ degree days (awaiting permit). Staff were VERY pleasant and grounds pretty well kept. Unavoidably dusty due to desert conditions. Other campgrounds in town closer to everything.

Nice campground. Big bathrooms, lots of activities or things to do. The kids had a great time in the Rec room and on the porch. Hookups were easy and check in was smooth. No complaints.

Best showers of any KOA I have stayed at and that have been many. Plenty of games and activities for kids and families. One downside to this campground is the distance from cross nation major roads making it an inconvenient one night site.

Only thing that needs to be addressed is the stickers and foxtail in the dog runs needs to be removed.

Very disappointed with the site. I order a deluxe site with a swing and they gave us a glider bench! The other sites were great however we did not get what we ordered. I noticed that was the case in many sites. I asked why they said the bench glides and no deluve site available so we got a bemch! . No offer to refund either. Too bad becausee the park is nice. Just give people what they ordered

The pull through RV sites are long, level, and easy to enter and exit. The property is well maintained; however, the dog park needs improvement. Also, the only pet waste receptacle that I found was at the dog park. Most KOAs that I have visited have several located through the campground.

It is a good campground. I was on a motorcycle and was pulling a tent trailer which isn't any larger than a large tent. I was told i would have to rend a pull through because it was a trailer. I have been using KOA campgrounds since 1982 using this tent trailer and have used tent sights with no problem. i think your policy isn't to good to put it mildly.

We had just a wonderful campsite at the Carlsbad KOA - it featured a really nice tiled patio, wrought iron chairs and table, a swing for 2, and a nice firepit that we used a few nights. Showers were clean and the water was hot. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. The cool summer evenings and mornings were wonderful. Great location very close to both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains NPs.

The park is very rundown, the Wi-Fi never worked, they were short staffed so there was only two dumpsters on either end of the park, not garbage cans anywhere close. The park is next to a sewage treatment facility so if the wind was not blowing it stunk. Cannot believe it qualifies as a holiday park.

We were there for a month. The campground is dated but fairly well maintained. Definitely need to mow more. Quietest KOA we have stayed at. Huge rec facility. Most of the problems we had were with the area/location; not so much the park. About 20 miles from any town; barren, dusty, windy, smelly region. However, we highly recommend the Caverns and Roswell and this KOA is smack between them so.....

Friendly, easy access and maneuvering of large rv’s. A bit of a stretch to call it “Carlsbad” Kia…. Since it is almost 20 miles north of Carlsbad itself, and 40 miles from the main attraction of the area…. Carlsbad Caverns. However, it is the nicest Rv park in the area.

Quiet park. Bathrooms and laundry facilities good. A bit far from Carlsbad Caverns State Park if that is your reason to be in that area, but the KOA is very nice.

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
