The staff was very accommodating. We had to extend our stay a week because the control pad to our hydraulic jack system went out and we couldn't move to coach.

Very nice campground. Good big bathrooms. Very comfortable sites. Some repairs were needed—some washers and dryers were out of order so what appeared to be a big laundry was only 1/2 in service. And the pool was closed, waiting for inspection? But I still give it a 4 out of 5.

Quiet park. Courteous staff. We stayed a week. No pool open. No food as described on website. Did not use laundry or showers. Told by staffer not to drink water. Not the KOA I’ve experienced.

Everything was good except the pool was not open. It was 94both days we were there. They said the pump was broken. They should give a discount if they advertise a pool and then can't deliver.

Park was clean and well kept. We stayed 2 nights. We did not use any of the amenities. The location makes for an easy drive to Carlsbad Caverns.

This KOA is just OK. The sites lack any kind of curb appeal and they seem unkempt. Grass is dying (might rethink growing grass in an arid climate) and trees as well. The bathrooms were clean enough but need a little TLC to make them better. The water is extremely hard and creates lots of calcium deposits on the fixtures. Lack of covers for the tables. KOA is usually a higher standard.

Everything was "fine" and "acceptable" but not exceptional. Showers and bathrooms were decently clean but could've been better. Location is a bit far from Carlsbad and Carlsbad Caverns but it worked out ok even though it added a bit of drive time. We didn't see any campgrounds closer to Carlsbad that we'd have preferred so this probably is as good as any other option we saw.

It was a very clean park with very friendly staff. We would have enjoyed the pool being open. (Not until Memorial Day) That’s my only suggestion.

Enjoyed our stay. Great WiFi and cable. Our site had two dump receptacles, which was convenient with tanks at each end of the camper. No issues with laundry facility or bathrooms. Water pressure was good in the showers. Convenient for visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains NP and Roswell.

We stayed for 6 nights. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The laundry room was clean/neat & the W&D worked great. The Doggy Park had benches to sit on, poop bags, trash cans and safe gates for the dogs. Suggestions for improvement - The Wi-fi connection was sporadic & weak most of the times. Needs more range & bandwidth. Signage entrance from highway at night needs a light. TY-Team Sophie

This was our first time stay at a KOA campground and we were pleasantly impressed. Clean, friendly staff, working utilities, and plenty of room. We were looking for a campground closer to Carlsbad Caverns and would definitely recommend. My only negative was that the restaurant was closed during our entire stay and there aren’t any other eateries within 20 miles.

Nice place to stay but we gotbtgere late, left early. Great laundry facilities. Would recommend. Was hard to find spot in the dark. Illuminated or reflective #s would help.

The campground is well maintained and fairly quiet. It’s just off the freeway but set back enough that you don’t hear all the traffic noise. It is north of the city of Carlsbad which increases the drive time to the national parks in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This KOA desperately needs updating. Bathrooms are dirty and very old.

We were disappointed that the campground was so far from the caverns as from the website we somehow got the impression that the caverns were near not 45 minutes away. Our problem was that we were traveling from the east and it would have made more sense to stay closer. the campground was nice also very clean as always with KOA.

This KOA has deteriorated significantly since our last stay in October 2020. The "long termers" appear to be totally unregulated with makeshift skirting and scattered "stuff" all around their sites. The previous camper at our site had piled up the gravel in odd ways and no staff had been their to rake it out. The general surroundings were rough and neglected with dead or nonexistent grass/weeds.

Full-time rv'ers for 9 years. This KOA is about 45 minutes from the caverns. It's a very nice quiet park. Laundry room is outstanding. Only oddity was that their well water curdles your coffee creamer. Google says it's OK to drink, but we prefer not to chew our coffee! Our neighbors also experienced the same issues. We bought gallon jugs of water at the office and that solved the problem. Office was also aware of this issue. Wish they had told us upon arrival.

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA
